Cahir Hotels

Convenient location within walking distance of most all of Dublin, the age of the building gives great character but was very accommodating and comfortable. On our two week trip to Ireland and England this is the only place we spent two nights. Great assistance from the staff.

Convenient for the reason I was in Cahir which was for my nephews funeral

No lift, the door to the bathroom was very noisy and I am currently undergoing Chemo treatment and my sleep pattern is not great but waking my husband up with a creaky door was annoying. The shower was tepid in the morning and I had to get my husband to turn off the shower as the dial was so stiff and hard to turn. Having to chase the batteries around on the floor from the tv remote control as there was no back on it was the final straw.

Central in clonmel nice trendy modern b&b handy for weekend break nice friendly staff and a good breakfast the next morning what more could ya want for €70 a couple

The shower pressure was very poor, & the tv remote did not work, however, in fairness to the hotel, the owner did apologise & to be honest for €40 including breakfast it would be churlish to let these small niggles affect your enjoyment of what is a lovely wee guest house in the centre of Clonmel !!

The hotel was of 5 star plus standard.The staff weee extremely friendly and helpful.The food was glorious .I will be going again.

I liked the overall decor and ambience although as a non -horse racing person I found the theme a bit overpowering - you couldn't escape it anywhere.

A lack of explanation of the technology in the room - this meant that I had the rather noisy air conditioning on all night which was very cold anyway.

i taught the staff were lovely, they made sure we were comfortable and then took orders for breakfast. The owner was such a lovely man and for 30 each it was a bargain

Excellent for budget travel. Perfect if your main objective is to see the Rock of Cashel. Could use better explanation of where you can park in the area though.

The place was very peaceful with a slow moving river at the edge of it's grounds. The gardens we well maintained and the food was of a high standard. The staff we friendly and helpful.

The room was cold, one of two rads in the room did not work and even with a suplimentary electric heater the room was cold overnight. There was very poor directional signage in this hotel and it was a bit of a maze and difficult to orientate oneself. The catering staff at the event I attended were rushing and hasselling to clear the meal. Instance my bread and side plate was removed just after I started my soup and before I had an oppertunity to stop the waitress.
