Pros: The only thing i liked about the place was the front lady was nice . And when i asked for a blow drier they brought me one .
Cons: For a room that cost a $100 a night in Peru, this hotel was the worse ive stayed in. Will never go back. 1) basics of breakfast , salt and pepper were non existent. The most basic breakfast . Tea/coffee with fried eggs . Jam and butter Free breaki not worth it .2) no shampoo or conditioner in the shower . Had to purchawe it from a store . The ahower turned into a pool after a few minutes. Issues with pluming . 3) the view was of the backyaard of other eighbors and they started burning tires in the morning so the room filled with smoke all morning. 4) asked for extra towrls and it was delivered the next day .

Pros: I was looking for something a little bit more up class after staying in hostels for the last year. The bed was super comfy, nice warm shower, super sized TV but only Sfy channel in English. Easy access to motor taxis that will take you where you need to go for a few soles. The minibus to Otozco goes from the corner 1 min walk from here. An OK breakfast but I have stayed in accommodation just as good as this for a lot lesser price.
Cons: The only access in or out of the building is via the main door which is locked and only opened by a receptionist. Once we had to wait 10 mins to get in and once to get out. Room got little cold once, no heating facilities. For 3 star hotel I would have expected a kettle and coffee or tea in the room.

Cons: Slow to serve breakfast, bathroom had no windows for smell to come out, the clerk tried to charge me more due to some "tax" wich did not apply to my case.

Pros: We love staying at the Krisant hotel. The staff are polite and helpful. It is the most tastefully decorated hotel in Cajamarca. It is away from the center of town which means less traffic noise. Taxis are cheap to get to the center if you need too. If you are going to Cajamarca - stay at the Krisant hotel!

Horrible lightning with fluorescent light bulbs, dust everywhere. floors are not even. Apparently this hotel is part of the Atlantis Hotel as our towels logo had them, downstairs is the Atlantis Casino, full of smoke !!! I did asked to cancel, they wound't agree. Staff do not speak any English!

Cons: Cold in the room Basic breakfast The hotel was half empty, however they would have only allowed a late checkout (2-max 3 hrs extra) for half of the daily charge. Cons: Had big problem with key getting stuck in lock. Literally wasted lots of time just getting the key out. Rooster had me awake sometime around 3 or 4AM. When I asked, they told me that breakfast starts at 7AM. Thanks to the rooster(s), I was ready at 7, but they had me wait till 8. No milk for my coffee, no butter or jam for my rolls. The neighborhood is quite iffy as well. Not to say its unsafe, just rather unpleasant.

Pros: I liked the reception and the restaurant facilities. Also the location was pretty good, just meters from the city centre.
Cons: The room and the hotel facilities in general (without considering the restaurant) is not what I expected to be. We were placed in the 3rd floor, while I was traveling with a 70 year old. Also they were making some constructions which was not pleasant to watch.

Pros: Nothing was worth the money I paid. I did give me a bottle of water when I asked to fill up my bottle but other than that it wasn't a treatment of a 3-star hotel. I have traveled long enough in Peru that a room with standard breakfast like this is around s/40 only. Other than that, they had warm shower, alright wifi, quiet. Dryer in my room didn't work.
Cons: They put me into the smallest and most basic room under the stairs next to a storage room. there's no picture of this room on the website. Staff tried to charge me with tax twice abd I had to explain to them that foreigners don't pay tax. Be careful about your price.

Pros: The location was nice, the staff most were helpful and courteous. I appreciated the airport shuttle even when I did not request it! Hot spring tub in room was a plus, good cable tv, robe and slippers. Everything was available if needed.
Cons: Facilities could have been cleaner, don’t know how often they clean the common pools, and the water seemed to be stagnant. Even though the water from source was very hot flowing throughout the property but seemed controlled when used in room bathtub. Sauna was not a typical sauna or steam room. Not enough aromatics to overcome the moldy smell. There’s eucalyptus everywhere but they used a couple old branches and old rotting citrus, Breakfast was ok. Check our at 10am. Room for single person was not very big as mentioned in other reviews. Overall it was still a good peaceful stay.

Pros: I like that the stuff was very nice, they really make us feel like home. We traveled with our baby girl and they were very helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was really good. The room was really clean,big bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and in case we go back to Cajamarca we surely go to Pilancones Hotel.

Cons: Staff were lovely though at times it felt like we were treated as chikdren: breakfast ends at 8.45 (we were told it was 9am) we were still served but made to feel like we were putting them out. Having a chat outside in the terrace we were told to keep the noise down. There were 4 of us and it was still midnight. It felt like a school night.

Cons: I asked for a pick up to be organized from the bus stop bcs I was arriving super early and they wanted to charge me 20 soles when the normal rate was only 6 soles. Luckily I took myself bcs they were too late to answer. Going back to the bus stop I asked the reception to stop me a taxi, the receptionist said in Spanish to the taxi driver charge her 10 soles and give us the commission.m not knowing I speak English. I felt they are just taking advantage of foreign tourists.
