The GR Caribe is a charming resort located in Cancun, Mexico. The GR Caribe by Solaris features Mediterranean architecture and is a perfect getaway for a romantic or family vacation. This all-inclusive resort offers beautiful rooms and will do everything to make guests feel comfortable and right at home as they enjoy the nearby beach, an ocean view, daily minibar, air conditioning, and complimentary toiletries and WiFi.

The Marco Polo restaurant features delicious international food and is a great place to take your loved one for a romantic dinner. There are seven different types of cuisine to enjoy each day of the week. The Café Solaris offers savory breakfast foods, fresh fruit and coffee, pastries and many Mexican foods. In the evening, guests can choose from the menu or buffet.

Kids can enjoy the water parks all day long. They are themed after Noah’s ark and kids can swim around zebras, elephants and giraffes. There is a shallow pool for young children and they are supervised by staff who also offer fun games and activities. Older kids will also love the climbing wall.

The entertainment is spectacular in Cancun. The Mayan Show, Broadway productions, and Latin shows are some of the choices that tourists can choose from.

This vacation is all inclusive and includes the rooms, tips and taxes, meals, drinks and snacks, transportation to and from the nearby airport, as well as multiple other amenities. Activities and entertainment are also included. There is fun for the entire family or for the cozy romantic getaway.

Our bartender, waiters and waitresses, and cleaning staff were amazing The policy showing guests to leave their towels on the lounge chairs then leaving for the day ruins the experience for other guests. Booked through a third party booking agent Room was about as far from everything as you could get, in a part of the resort that needs upgrading badly, no balcony, no view. Room service menu was poor, mostly just sandwiches Resort food was mediocre Good, fun activities though and beautiful beach

Pros (+) Staff over-all were helpful and friendly. Location was very nice on a very clean and beautiful beach. Lobby bar (drinks only) was available all hours. Service was good at the lobby bar. Cecelia and Eliseo were especially accommodating, helpful, and very personable. We enjoyed visiting with them.
Cons (-) The rules/schedule for food were SO strict that we often didn't get to eat. First night we went to every place on site and the neighboring property and were not able to get a single thing to eat. We had anticipated being able to sit outside on the beach and have a drink. That was not available either. There is one pool bar and a snack bar there, but everything serving outdoors closes by 5:15/5:30....

Pros (+) The location is great. Beach and water are beautiful. Staff is friendly. Food is okay. Room service is 24hrs and is good. One of the 6 days of our stay we had drink service on the beach and that was nice.
Cons (-) Although the lobby bar is open 24 hrs nothing is going on. You might find a couple other people around after 10.
