Staff was top notch
The pool was shut down and that was a big reason we chose to stay here

I like the complementary breakfast, cleanliness, and location.
I did not like being double charged!! I talked to the front desk and they said that they billed me once, but there are two charges on my account. One charge is from Priceline and the other is from the hotel. I am very disappointed with both parties1
This is a perfectly reasonable hotel. Nothing special but clean, updated, and comfortable. It was very convenient to where I needed to go. Breakfast was adequate (free!), pool and whirlpool were fine, fitness center OK. Plenty of parking, etc. It was quiet enough. I stayed a week in May 2012. Nearby restaurants were below average.
This place is great. Checked in and received a complimentary upgrade to a suite. If I ever have to be in the area again, I'll most certainly be staying here.
Hotel is in a quiet area with ample parking & free breakfast! Short drive to the campus of Dickinson and price is really good. We like that there is MUCH less traffic and no noise compared to the hotels right off the Turnpike and the one right near campus. We stayed once at the hotel on campus on S. Hanover and were awakened twice during the night from fire trucks (with sirens blaring) that were responding in the area. My child is now enrolled at Dickinson and says the fire trucks are like that nightly. Her dorm is right on the main street so she would know!
Everything was great! The hotel, the staff the room and the area. Its even 10 mins to the nearest ski area. I will definitely come back and recommend to people!!
Our family planned to see a play at Allenberry Playhouse and thought we might like to visit Gettysburg and Hershey while we were in the area. This hotel was in the perfect location to be our base and visit the surrounding area. The hotel and the staff were extremely nice. The staff was able to share information and directions for attractions and restaurants. The breakfast buffet offered something for everyone and the beds were really comfortable. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Carlisle is great for pets. I was visitng my son at Dickinson College and don't like leaving my dog at home so I brought my Yorkshire Terrier along for the visit. The staff is friendly and M helped to ensure our stay was enjoyable and gave us advice of nearby restaurants and driving directions there.
came here with the kids for a combined work/vacation. the place is clean and well kept, the management unfailingly friendly and helpful (they have printed directions to every place I needed to go, from the Army War College to Target!). the pool is small but nice, the rooms very pretty. good value.
