This hotel is perfect for rual tourism, if you interested to see Portuguese countryside that is. Although it is fairly close to beaches and Santo Andre lake, you will still need a car to get to them. There is absolutely nothing within walking distance and the local transportation is very few, if non-existant. The carpet that covers the corridors and the rooms must be thoroughly cleaned or better, replaced.
great price great hotel and no fuss, booking was all ok, no hiches
Swimming pool and location We stayed at 5 different hotels in the region, Vila Park was no better or worse on average, but cost nearly as half as much again.
food / no english menu
Very helpful staff, very good standard of rooms and public areas, good restaurant with sensible pricing, and easy parking. No,everthing was first rate.
The service from staff and the lovely pool area. Also games and play area for children was good.
Very nice swimming pool and excellent breakfast buffet. This is more a business hotel. Too far away from the beach. Restaurant is very uncausy.
The management and staff dedication to service, professionally run.It should qualify as 4*. I liked all aspects. The hotel was a very pleasant experience
Staff kindness; good food and good breakfast for 3* hotel Lack of information about possibility of cots in a double room and politic of children charge by age.
There was a garage that was locked during the night time.
Location Lack of quality in the products used for the breakfast, specifically in the coffee taste which is absolutely undrinkable. The room was not cleaned when the keys were given, and quickly done after, but ....!!!!
Wonderfully helpful and friendly service staff.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Secure parking. Spotless room. In the middle of town. Free wireless internet. Bar reasonably priced. Small but adequate bathroom. No restaurant but buffet breakfast and limited room service.
Very clean hotel. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast.
Very friendly staff and clean rooms
I was quite happy about all the hotel's facilities. Noise from the family in the room next door.
Very friendly service, nothign was too much trouble. Hotel felt like a large villa. Much better than larger but compact 4 star equivalents
Very welcoming and helpful staff.
Surprised, and very pleasantly supprised by how lovely the team and facility.
All staff were very friendly and the decor and facilities are very good.
I enjoyed the comfort of the room and the quality of the staff The decoration of the hotel - too many colours everywhere.
quiet, good service, excellent equiped kitchen -
Good 3 star hotel in Porto Covo.
The location is the best feature of this hotel, in quiet spot of Porto Covo. The 1 bed apartment was nice size and was user friendly. The apartment we had did not have a balcony (we were on 1st floor) - would have been nice. The whole hotel needs to be refurbished and updated. Hot water was only available at certain times of the day - no idea why.
Clean, modern apartment-style rooms Good location, a few minutes away from the main square (and few restaurants) of Porto Covo Staff were friendly and helpful Continental Breakfast had decent options (for Europe), and was included Plenty of safe, free parking on-site WiFi signal was not great, and limits the number of devices logged on at once Breakfast was decent, but the coffee was cold
Rates, Free WiFi, splendid breakfast, swimming pool.
The location is good. Breakfast very good for this kind of hotel. The room was very cold, even with air conditioning turned on, I was freezing. The hot water was not constant, at night I had no hot water in the lavatory. You can find cheaper rooms in the main street of Porto Covo, above the restaurants.
Extremely peaceful and pretty little hide-away hotel. Wonderful staff made it feel like home away from home.
Small but good breakfast buffet.Very nice pool/outdoor area.
Our room had a lovely terrace overlooking the garden and there was a lovely swimming pool Difficult to find - road leading into the hotel was rough
Gorgeous hotel with great pool area. Close to centre and beaches. Stating the beach is 900m from the hotel is a bit misleading as its further than that to walk round to it!
I was surprised when I saw the room because it was very cozy. The room and the other facilities were very clean. People were nice too. We booked a double/twin room and once we arrived the room that was given to us was only a double, which obviously didn't fit our expectations.
It was only one night and the front desk help was the best. The weather turned sour, so we left early. Couldn't use the swimming pool, cold water and they had a jacuzzi but wanted another $17/person to use it! Is that bizarre? And the hotel is a little out of the way location wise and we like to walk.
Not good value for money. Stayed in much better hotels at the same period for quite the same price.
The cleanliness of this hotel was excellent and the breakfast items very varied. We would definitely stay there again. Nothing.
Size of the room. It was on the description that they had tennis court and internet, but the court was not available and the computer was broken. I and my kids were disappointed because we made the selection of the hotel counting on playing tennis. In the site of booking.com it was mentioned that the breakfast was included but then they told me that it was an error but they didn't charge it. Apartment for 4 persons but only one bed. The other bed was a sofa that was not very confortable.
Very attractive grounds & gardens. Cool, light & airy interior with interesting & unusual features and a homely atmosphere. The receptionist was extremely helpful when I left something behind in the bedroom. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and especially nice freshly squeezed orange juice . No..............we plan to go back next year.
