yhe hotel personnel was extremely friendly and informative, the food was very good though on the expensive side, the room was comfortable the beds were cold - a thin bedmattress would make the bed more cozy and solve the problem
simple hotel in a quiet rural area near the river doubs, helpful personnel, decoration of hotel and especially dining room needs attention, dinner was nice but not superb
Nice location in verey quiet surrondings. Basic but adequate room. Depressing ... glaucous ... The colors, the cheap furnitures, everything was wanting me to leave as soon as possible. At the restaurant the waiter (owner?) was dense and insensitive, the food of very unequal quality and overpriced ... a verey sad experience indeed
we liked the quiet location of the hotel surrounded by trees with nice flowers at the entrance and the proximity of the river Doubs, the family atmosphere and the nice food forgot to mention on departure that the bathroom door needed a bit of oil!
Located in the centre of a farming area this Hotel would have been a Mill at some time the stream still has the gates to redirect water. The restauarant has a fine wine cellar and food to match. A nice place to stay.
Rural Location, Goumet Menu, Extensive picturesque grounds Menu selection did not change daily
Butiful location, a lot of historical charm, nice dinner. breakfast is awful, coffee tasted like water, nothing to eat, do not recommend anybody to include in their booking breakfast.
Friendly and welcoming hotel, in the middle of the Beaune countryside, easily found with Sat-Nav, but maybe difficult without. Excellent meal but my only complaint would be the lack of an affordable wine with dinner. Saying that I will definitely stay again and strongly recommend it.
This is a really beautiful period building, exquisitely furnished and decorated in a typical French classy style. Everything was in the best possible French taste, and it would be perfect for an expensive romantic weekend for a couple of gourmets. The food was superbly prepared and served, with some delicious touches of refinement and delight, We thought we booked bed and breakfast at a 3 star overnight stop. Instead we were booked into a gourmet restaurant with exquisite rooms. Dinner was at least 50E a head, and they wouldn't recommend a bottle of wine at less than 48E. It cost 3 of us over £400 for one night, we could'nt go any where else to eat as it was out in the Styx. Then they charged us for breakfast separately. It wasn't what we thought we'd booked.
It is a very beautiful hotel with comfortable and cosy rooms The meals were not good and extremely expensive. Everything was quite expensive. The staff was not helpful and not at all nice. The impression we had is that they tried to "sell" us alll kind of services that were not included in the room fee (which was already quite expensive). When we were about to pay the bill, they tried to make us pay for breakfasts we did not eat and for drinks we did not have.
Very little really The bed,the food,
Rooms are fine for the price set, however the real treat is the dinner. What a wonderful restaurant. We had a splendid five-course meal for a decent price. Wonderful, excellent food and drinks. A real surprise. Breakfast is overpriced.
The hotel is comfortable, clean and economical. We found the staff were more focussed upon the restaurant clientel than hotel guests so one had to wait for service.
restaurant was expensive and pretentious, but the food was good. free half-hour internet service and cheap prices for longer session far too hot. no air conditioning/fan or anything.towels were threadbare and there was not one for each occupant. we were given a double room when we had booked for three, though this was rectified swiftly. wholehotel area was dingy, but bed was quite comfortable
Friendly, helpful staff. Room basic but very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. Overall, good value for money
very kind hotel staff and very good restaurant
