The restaurant had very high quality food for the price and the bar was elegant and very accessible. Need to have FREE wifi in the rooms! This is 2015 AND the hotel is in the heart of silicone valley. For shame! Hilton
Everything was great Everything was good all people there are helpful
It's a good hotel with all the facilities you need, conveniently positioned across the road from the Hyatt convention center. No free WiFi, which for the price of the room, I would have expected.
Helpful and friendly staff who keep up with the demands and requests of the guest. Also, a very quiet and clean space that allowed us to get our rest.
Clean. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Friendly helpful staff.
check in and out convenience. Movies extremely expensive.
Andy the concierge took care of us like an old friend.
Great location and amazing hotel. The amenities were good as well. The rio was a nice size and I had a view of Levi Stadium. When I came back to the hotel at about 11pm there were no parking places. I believe outsiders were at the bar or guests had their friends visiting. When you are paying for a hotel room it's annoying not being able to park in the parking lot.
Was given a double bed instead of a king. Uncomfortable and had to sleep in two different beds
The design of the hotel is amazing! I love the modern feel and everything feels new. Downside was I came on a day where teenagers called "future business laws of America" were staying for the weekend. They were loud and obnoxious in the hallways, elevators, and at the pool. It seemed like I could never get away from them!
Amazing views, great service and great bar
Room was excellent, except my city view was a view of the stadium. Can't really complain about that though it was fine. They even sent up a bathrobe to my room when I asked. There was some youth convention going on which wasn't really a problem. However it took me a while to get on the elevator to get to my room
The staf was extremely accommodating and friendly. the food in the restaurants was of excellent quality and the Lounge Bar was an excellent place to relax and grab a light meal. The room was large and perfect for my business trip. I liked everything about this hotel
Walking distance to downtown San jose & Staff was great
Clean, comfortable, upscale, great location in heart of city near restaurants, businesses, arena, light rail, freeway. Wonderful accomodations. Easy check- and check-out. Expensive parking. We parked in a garage one block from the hotel to avoid unreasonable $26 nightly fee. Most big cities charge this much, and higher, but why do have to shrug our shoulders and say, "that"s just the way it is". It feels like the baggage fees on the airlines.
Rooms Staff at the door
I liked that it was downtown close to bars, clubs and restaurants.
Can't really think of anything. 1. Room was dated. 2. Room with a view had no view. 3. Parking was expensive. 4. Hotel had no charm or allure (other than the advertised picture).
Clean rooms with feel of knowing they are clean Ac went out. Super hot. Small beds
A property in the Fairmont family. Being in historical downtown next to sites of value. Relying on amenities of a high end hotel which did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful in all encounters. Extra fees for wifi these days seems unnecessary. Having to use hotel cards to go between tower and main facility (although security is appropriate).
We were very impressed with the staff all around, reception, bellmen, cleaning staff etc. Lots and lots of hidden fees that will drive up your bill significantly.
Fancy, various locations to eat and enjoy yourself with partner and great America in a 13 min drive distance just a great stay after all and great valet service Beware of an extra 100$ charge at check in just in case you break anything in the hotel but will be refunded after check out and line is to long with no one trying to help them out to make the line go faster
Wonderful environment, great Beds close to San Jose Convention Center. Very Friendly Staff, impecible Service.
Location Bed was uncomfortable and did not have enough covers shower was outdated and shower head was cheap No coffee station in room Sparsely decorated
Great hotel, room and staff! Got free upgrade upon arrival and an extra 1/2 hour checkout time so we could go to the next door art museum without a hassle.
Friendly & helpful staff, comfy beds, nice linens, clean rooms. Relatively quite. Conveniently located near convention center, stadium. Expensive for a remodeled motel. Difficult-to-find front office--shared with IHOP entrance. Also hard to find light switches in room (looks like IKEA lighting). Awful lighting over mirror. Teensy exercise room.
Walking distance to Levi Stadium. Email for online check in and extra towels. Clean. Helpful staff. Rooms tiny with 2 beds which are more like extra wide twins than doubles. Bath also like closet. Motel like format. Room rate of over $300 ridiculous. Worst value ever.
comfy beds with lots of good pillows far from good restaurants, outdoor access to rooms, limited pool hours
A very easy check-in and great modern deco
This is not a three star hotel, and yet, I paid $170 a night to stay here. Hotel is about a mile from the conference center, but unless you're at the Hyatt (connected to the conference center) or directly across the street, you'll want to drive so the distance isn't as relevant. Nothing worked how it was supposed to. Bathroom from 1997, check. Shower knob that is impossible to use unless you put your back into pulling it out, check. Damp smell because you can't even open the windows, check. Lamps from Office Depot (genuinely, I have similar lamps at my office) that give you a feeling you're in a doctor's office, check. Shoddy paint job, check. I booked through Priceline, which was a mistake. I refused to spend my last night in this hotel, and when I called Priceline they supposedly called the hotel and claimed the hotel wouldn't refund my last night even though the quality was so poor. Similarly, the hotel said they wouldn't refund my last night because of Priceline. Long story short, I decided to eat the cost of spending the night somewhere else to avoid yet another day in this sad, sad hotel/motel. This is an $80 hotel, not a $180 hotel.
Hotel was lovely and staff was very nice and friendly. Would recommend.
Everything else but the tub was amazing. The bed was comforting and the staff was great. They really are just super friendly and very welcoming. I would recommend staying here. It's affordable for what they offer. You can easily notice that they used like those dry wall putty things to fix tares in the tub. It really looked dirty than upkept.
great location to great America and close to all good restaurants nothing
Super nice room. Very friendly staff Entire hotel was full of kids...baseball league
The rooms are nice Smelt like smoke on the 5th floor. Not a lot but too much!
Breakfast Buffet was very convenient especially for families Small bathrooms
Very friendly staff, suites with 2 flat screen tv's, immaculate rooms, nice linens and toiletries. GREAT COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST!!
Good breakfast and the room was nice for a short stay. The lobby and common areas were very nice. Front desk staff was very nice, fast, and efficient. Room was rough around the edges. Traffic sounds from the highway were very loud in the room. The bathroom needed some repairs - the shower was nearly impossible to turn on the valve was so stiff. Bar staff was slow and rude.
The free breakfast is great every time we stay here. The rooms are big, location is perfect, and the bartenders make good drinks. The bar closed too early for us. We went back around 10 pm after the Sharks game and it was already all closed up on a Saturday night.
Very comfortable. I wanted to stay longer.
Great amenities with pool/workout room/ and arcade, clean, and spacious rooms Room had a little of a smoke smell and I'd pass on the bar area.
Loved how nice the staff was from the initial entrance of the hotel. The room was lovely and very clean. Bathtub not very big for the suite. But that's out of their control.
Staff was excellent. Breakfast was very nice. Room and bath look worn and dated. Linens were worn and had holes.
I liked the drink coupon. The service was great . Our room was very nice and clean. There was too many kids around . The pool was kinda of tiny and dirty. I saw dead fly and a bandaid so I didn't get in the pool.
We had a wonderful night here with our kiddos for a little "staycation." We live in San Jose and wanted to get away for a night befor using our Great America passes. The room was nice and clean the beds were comfy and the pool and jacuzzi were AWESOME! Very nice. My hubby was a bit bummed that there was no continental breakfast.
Beautiful hotel. Nice garden patio area where room looked on to. Food quality was below average. The 28$ filet mignon was tasty , but only half inch thick. The "baked" potatoe was steamed in a warming tray. The breakfast buffet was not worth the price, and sub par. Potatoes were hard and tasteless, pancakes were hard. Actually had better, and more choice, at free buffet with Best Western Plus. No restaraunts or meeting spots to watch games or get snacks on weekends, or afternoons
The room itself was great! It was definitely a sight for sore eyes when we checked in late into the night. But the staff were pleasant and cheerful. I'd book again hands down. Thanks for the stay!
It was functional and my room was fairly large It was considerably overpriced for the value. The hotel looked and felt like a lower middle market hotel, not up to the brand standard or the price.
Windows open 5 inches for fresh air, large tv, elevator was quick Breakfast was barely passable, staff was nice but did not care, bookings.com does include breakfast even when you pay for it, bar food was not presented well and it was not tasty, pillows were terrible
The location is convenient and the price reasonable This is an odd and aging facility that is absolutely filthy
The shuttle to the convention center was good. I was in a room in the back of the hotel with no elevator. They charged me for breakfast while others were given breakfast free. The breakfast wasn't a great one and had very little choice other then scrambled eggs and a few other things. The shuttle to the convention center was unavailable after 10:30. My whole point of getting a hotel was so I didn't have to drive and to avoid parking. The staff was not very helpful.
Price & location; room was nice.
It was easy to find, clean, quite, and friendly Nothing
Clean, modern spacious rooms. Paid Wi-fi access with high priced rooms did not make sense. Hot water for showers was not hot,
Location and all the amenities was great! Our room was wonderful. Got a bit concerned about noise because our room was close to the elevator and vending machines, but we hardly heard any noise. Tony at the front desk was very helpful and gave great customer service. Thank you Tony!
The staff really needs to monitor the noise level of the kids staying at the hotel while attending sports tournaments. I had to call the front desk EVERY night due to kids yelling in the halls after 10 PM!
Great service from staff, the cleanliness of the exercise and pool areas as well as the entire hotel. My kids and I also enjoyed the wonderful evening get-together and delicious breakfast!
Location was close to the airport and the larger room was nice. Bed was comfortable. The room was not clean. Hair on bed and in bed sheets, hair in bathroom and it had a smell that resembled an unclean room. The t.v. Did not have any pay per view movies for the kids or is to watch. Only cable. The pool was dirty and had a horrible smell of dirty gym socks mixed with too much chlorine. Hot tub was luke warm and cloudy. Pool was also cloudy. The lobby was not as nice as other Embassy Suites.
From the moment you enter the lobby, the blast of painted-over, allegedly-renovated cigarette-saturated waft almost knocks you off your feet. Even the "renovated" rooms feature popcorn ceilings and the stench is unbearable. Guess they should have burned it to the down and started over. I will ever stay in an Embassy Suites again.
Location. very strategic and close to convention center The price is ridiculous, too high for a mediocre room, large, but very old and noisy.
Left specific instructions that were not followed through
At least once a year, our girls will have a dance competition/convention down the road at the Santa Clara Convention Center. We always choose to stay here instead of the hotels that are a bit closer. It's quieter, roomier, and besides, it only takes 5 minutes to drive to the convention center. (You could spend 5 minutes just waiting for an elevator at the other hotel!) The complimentary breakfast is excellent, and definitely a plus! We'll certainly come back again!
Freindly staff and comfortable rooms. Ideally situated for Silicon Valley business.
Plenty of free parking. The work desk didn't have a single electrical available nearby, not even one. I had to unplug the phone to use that outlet for my laptop. The safe in the room was not working. I stayed there 3 days and it was not fixed. If you are on the side facing the street (Montague Expressway), the car noise is very loud. Noise insulation from the windows is very poor. I'd stay somewhere else. There is another Hyatt hotel on First Street which is usually better (their wifi is worse though).
Near our rlatives and clean. Hospitable front desk! Room furniture was aging, arrangement ofkitchen and closet made space seem small
Near a shopping market, with many restaurants and a Safeway supermarket. Easy parking, large parking garage nearby. Room is noisy, especially if you get a room on the side of the nearby expressway. You will hear loud car noise throughout the day. The heater is also noisy.
I have stayed at the Hyatt a few times now. I love my stay, great location. Great atmosphere. The mattress and pillows did not help me sleep. I had back aches for a week after my recent stay.
Very comfortable rooms, lots of amenities, and excellent staff. Breakfast is quite expansive and the location is near to many restaurants.
the location, cost and breakfast
Friendly atmosphere, close to eating establishments, quite and the beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable. We stayed two nights and would stay again.
I love my room's bed, pillows & linens! Had thoughful amenities like fridge, microwave & DVD player, but wish there's an in-room safe deposit box as well. A good selection of items for its complimentary breakfast. Very conveniently located with good restaurants and great shopping - Valley Fair & Santana Row nearby. I was there with my husband who was on a business trip so I had to get around on my own with public transportation. It was easy to hop onto a bus just outside the hotel and get to the Santa Clara Caltrain station and make my way around the bay area, even into SF. So all in all, a very comfortable & convenient stay!
Friendly atmosphere, close to eating establishments, quite and the beds and pillows were amazingly comfortable. We stayed two nights and would stay again.
Very comfortable rooms, lots of amenities, and excellent staff. Breakfast is quite expansive and the location is near to many restaurants.
Although I was at first concerned about the location of this hotel I felt safe and very comfortable while I was there. The staff even reassured me that it was safe for me to jog in the area. I enjoyed my stay and would return if in the area.
Rooms are spacious and clean. You have to pay for almost everything else; internet, parking, breakfast.
Restaurants in hotel close to airport Rooms were outdated
Love that every room has their own balcony for fresh air. Great ammenities down stairs and friendly staff! I always enjoy the excellent customer service here. The location of the hotel is convienent, close to restaurants, shopping, and airport. Going in and out of the parking lot became an issue. At the Doubletree guests have the option of valet or self park (you are charged a nightly fee per night). We chose to self park, upon entering and exiting guests must use a parking ticket to do so, the parking meter ended up not working so we'd be stuck for 15-20 minutes along with everyone else trying to get out. They should use room keys for this versus paper tickets that eventually get bent out of shape.
Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. The hotel nickel and dimes you. $2.50 for bottled water, $19 a day for parking, expensive breakfast and dinner.
room size old decor poor food choices old shower old amenities unclean pool
Warning: Parking is NOT free at this hotel, not even for guests. You'll be forced to pay $20 to park per night! This made for a very obnoxious surprise during check-in.
The room was clean and tidy. Very simple, no art or decor to speak of. The lobby looked new and modern. Staff was very professional and nice. The HHonors floor was still in carpet from the 90's. Very old and out-dated. The room was very dated as well. My daughter who is 5'4" could press on the ceiling tiles, they were so low and old.
They overbooked rooms. We booked and paid for our room weeks in advance. When we arrived late at night with our three children, they told us they didn't have a room for us and sent us to another hotel. It was pretty awful.
I was charged twice for parking at the hotel. We were not allowed in/out entry into the parking area with our room keys. I was charged for parking at the parking gate and on my final bill. I called the hotel for REFUND and I haven't seen the refund on my bank statement as of this moment.
Had a problem with the first room but they helped me switch rooms no questions asked
Room was very quiet, even with all of the airplane traffic on approach to San Jose Airport.
Top notch hotel. Clean, newly remodeled, all amenities & on site restaurants etc The valet. He did not specify pricing of valet vs self park or exactly where self park was located.
Excellent location, top choice for San Jose. Walking distance to major attractions and night life in the area. Excellent VTA transit access as well. Also consider the Hilton and Fairmont nearby. Valet parking is $29 with in/out privileges. This is a reasonable price for the area.
The valet service was overwhelmed since the hotel had no self park option. Plus, the valet was serving guests who weren't even staying at the hotel but attending a concert or conference in the area. It's a bit ridiculous that it takes 20 minutes to drop off a car with valet and another 20 minutes to pick it up.
Pay WiFi with speed tiers.
The proximity to the convention center and civic hall was crucial for my team's stay and this property is next to both. The accomadations and staff were excellent. I would recommend splurging a little fir the concierge lounge.
I really Liked its location, we were attending a event at the convention center and the hotel is actually leads into the convention center. That was great! We didn't have to walk at all. All staff members were extremely nice and willing to offer any help that they could offer. The hotel was very busy due to the event, but the staff still dealt with customers in a very polite and friendly manner. I also wanted to say thank you to this hotel for not treating us any different than there other guest, we have been to other hotels and due to our ethnic background have been treated like we were some how less. This hotel did an excellent job treating everybody well and respectively Thank you so much! Some of the things that we weren't so pleased with that room service had certain hours and that it wasn't 24 hours and that the rooms were a little smaller than what we excepted. But overall we had a great experience
Great room overall, clean hotel in excellent location. Close to shops, food, and activities. Great service and friendly staff. Convenient parking (though it costs extra even without valet) garage connected to the hotel. Only a block away from Original Joe's. Despite a few quirks, I would stay here again. Charge for WiFi (unless you are an Elite member), ridiculous prices for snack shop food and goods ($5 for a Dairy Milk candy bar, $6 for an Odwalla Smoothie!), $45 for a t-shirt! Also, the hotel smells like the air freshener they pipe in at many of the Las Vegas hotels (could be a plus if you like that). Also, the choice of "aromatherapy" soaps are awful--why not go the clean, fresh scent of soap instead of burned wood?
This is the best place to stay if you don't want to drive when attending an event at the SAP Center, which is less than a 10-minute walk. I also like that the place is very clean, the hotel and our room. My friend was in town to attend a concert with me and we were both very happy with the accommodations, especially since we just wanted a clean, safe place to stay and this was the place. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent too. They had hot and cold options. The hotel is a bit dated but my main concern is cleanliness and safety.
Location was convenient The staff was unfriendly, I did not feel welcome. The lighting in the room was terrible, air conditioning difficult to adjust, and carpet was dirty
The hotel is dated and could use a remodel, but it was reasonably priced. The room was clean, large but old. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom which we didn't use. The switches and timer where outside the bathroom which dated the place. Still the room was good for what we needed it for. We had a good stay there.
Lighting in the room was poor, the shower temperature would constantly fluctuate between scolding hot and just barely warm. The hallways still smelled of fresh paint and carpet was a bit tattered. Location isn't bad and the staff and breakfast was great.
Is a great hotel, in my groups opinion it was better suited for many people than the Fairmount Hotel. Next year for fanime we will be staying at the Arena Hotel the whole time.
The room was beautifully remodeled with high ceilings and lots of space. Continental breakfast was filling and fresh. My first impression of the hotel was not great, however, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms above us were a little noisy.
Close proximity to SAP center for events. New carpet and furnishings. Had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in the room. Air conditioner did not work, it was blowing hot air. Bathroom was dingy looking but superficially clean. Their recent remodel did not include the bathroom.
Guys at the front desk are all super nice. Lady at the front desk could try smiling.
Everything, from cleanliness of our room to the friendly service.
Nice staff Being woke up at 3am due to excessive loud noise outside the hotel window
Walk to the SAP Center. Free parking. Free breakfast. Nice rooms!
Breakfast Small room, no pool or spa
The room looks clean and nice (1) The materials for bathroom and bathtub look very cheap...like Motel 6 (2) Soap scum were very where inside the bathroom, around the walls, in between the tiles, on the floor...yuck..yuck...yuck. (3) Dust was very where inside the bathroom, on top of base board, surrounding water faucet... (4) Faucet inside the bathtub was rusty and dirty. This should be easily to take care of with $10 spray paint for home depot. (5) Rest room located on the first floor was not clean or not being cleaned regularly. Trash was overflown and just can't believe this happened at the Hyatt hotel. I would never come back here again.
Nice failities Needs a hot tub/pool
I chose this hotel largely because it was an inexpensive option near Levi's Stadium. It definitely saved us quite a bit of money because there is an inexpensive bus that takes you right to the stadium for $8 round trip. The hotel itself was great! The staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early and borrow a phone charger. It was fairly clean and had a charming boutique feel. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Location is good. The room was comfortable enough. Did not like the staff. Not helpful or accomodating or even warm.
Friendliness and helpfullness of front desk. Housekeeping did not show up 2 of 4 days, even with complaints. I notified them that I would be out of the room from 6am until noon while I had dialysis and would need to sleep all Wednesday and Friday afternoons. No action, not even clean towels!
They were very focused on helping me get what I needed and when I needed to add extra days they made it happen easily. I have always loved this hotel and now that it is changing to a a Hilton in a week or so I hope it stays the same.
Very friendly staff, convenient to have a bar and restaurant in the hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Most importantly, again, staff was very welcoming, pleasant and made it a very luxurious experience. Only thing we didn't care for were the rough towels. The robes were pretty dated and hard as well. I know towel rotation and use is very hard to keep up with, but is also very important in keeping the luxury experience for customers. Otherwise, great place to stay.
Staff goes above and beyond. Even the maids ask how you're doing and tell you to have a great day.
Beautiful grounds Nice rework of what was there previously Nice pool and hot tub Good lounge Ample parking Comfortable bed Difficult to get to (in the middle of a neighborhood) Staff wouldn't print me a receipt (big issue on business travel) Pool / spa could be open later
The staff was very helpful when it was found out that the website I had booked through hadn't communicated with the hotel fully and they had to go digging for my reservation. But I got a room, it was very nice, even if a bit cramped, but that didn't detract from my stay. The grounds were very nice. I enjoyed their exercise room, it was more filled out than most hotels. I just wish I had had warmer weather to enjoy the pool and more time to enjoy every other feature of Hayes Mansion.
Driving up the residential street and coming upon the entrance for the 1st time gives you a feeling of stepping back in time to another era. The attention to detail and the beautiful wood trim all around gave a feeling of a very special place. I had only one night to explore the mansion and surroundings.
Great grounds and plenty of character; a relaxing venue with history and luxury.
I had called ahead to make sure I coukd check in late, but when i got there, I couldn't find the front desk person (or anyone) for 5 minutes, then when I finally found her, she found my reservation, but couldn't tell what rooms were available & so had to call her manager, and long story short, it was just over half an hour between when I walked in the front door and walked into my room. She said it was her second day, which I can only imagine is really overwhelming, so I was trying to be patient, and I've had good experiences every other time I've stayed there, but i have to say, this one left a sour taste in my mouth.
Everything from the room/bathroom was spotless incredibly clean . beautiful place to stay. Absolutely no negative comments to say.also GREAT STAFF! Very helpful and on point..even if I have to go out of my way to stay here again it would be worth it.very quite also.no traffic noises etc.will be back for another stay asap!!!
The grounds are really nice with a large and comfortable patio seating area and swimming pool. The furnishings in the room were old, old, old, and poorly decorated.
Used condom wrapper in the drawer. Need i say more.
We stayed here 1 night in room 121. It was a suite with easy access to the swimming pool. The back door lead right to the swimming pool. The pool looks bigger in the picture but it's still a excellent size. The staff was great and Sunday brunch was delicious. Good hotel to relax and get away from the regular 9-5. The only thing I can critique is we were there on a Saturday and there's was nothing special for dinner. The bar food was ok and room service food was ok. No restaurants walking distance but no big deal. Everything was releasing
Staff incredibly attentive The shortness of our stay
The location was great. Price very affordable, very clean, room updated and very friendly staff.
The location is close to Valley offices and the cost is just right.
Comfortable beds, clean, generous bathroom supplies, refrigerator, microwave, good value. feet and socks got grimy with something dark. I think it could be the dye on the carpets. If not, then the carpets were dirty.
We like the space in the room with an airconditioning not blowing on the beds, the cleanliness and the space. The most important thing was that we could sleep well, because we were every day the whole daylong shopping, visiting places of interest and family nearby. The breakfast was very simple and sometimes too simple and not enough.
No problems, helpful staff, room made up promptly every day, good price, comfortable beds, very accomodating (we arrived a day early and checked out a day early and it was no problem) Pool heater broken evidently, at least that is what we were told by the staff and that was very disappointing to our grandchildren. We were there for 4 days but it was Nov. and just too cold to swim without being heated.
The complementary breakfast
Location was perfect and the hotel is newly remodeled! Nice pool and friendly staff. The continental breakfast was delicious!
Basically I was to check out on the 16th of November, but since everything is good I have extended my stay till the 24th of November 2010 I was asked to give my credit card, I signed on a bill of $1040, at the reception I was told that I have not paid the amount. but I being from the middle east, I immediately received a sms from my credit card co. that this amount is already been billed to me. so I really did not understand the transaction of the hotel, which says I am not billed , but I have already signed the receipt, and my credit card co, already adds the bill to me.
Very nice room, especially for the price. Very comfortable and attractive, and a nice central location.
Everything I needed was available in my room. I couldn't open the window in my bathroom.
Resrevation via Booking.com was completely unknown by this hotel , so we were lucky that rooms were available.
The pillows were square shaped which was not that comfortable
The bathrooms were well furnished... Better than the actual rooms. The staff was very friendly. True price I paid was not worth the room. It was a very crampt room with ancient furniture. The rooms were a boring shade of beige and our window view was another building being constructed. It's layout seemed more that of a comfort inn with a price tag of 90 dollars a night rather than 150. It's not worth the price, if you have a car go to a comfort inn and save some money cause got the same experience.
We loved the late night pantry
The newly renovated rooms and baths are simple and elegant. The Hedley Club lounge serves good food & cocktails. Conveniently located in downtown San Jose, short walk to Convention center. The room lacked many standard amenities: 1) password protected, high speed Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi was free, slow and unsecured) 2) in room safe large enough to fit a laptop 3) stocked mini-bar (empty mini-fridge provided but there were no vending machines or in hotel shop to buy snacks & drinks) 4) in room guide/magazine with local/city info
room service was delicious and fast. Stay was very comfortable. Beautiful large bathroom. Great location.
