If you didn’t know it was there you would miss it. An absolute gem of a property. You are right on the door to The Rows. On arrival we were offered tea and cake. The room was spectacular and the bathroom to die for. There is even a “help yourself cupboard “ full of snacks and games.
The only minuscule downside (which actually is nothing to do with the property itself), is that just on the corner there is a pub that plays music. Now we personally didn’t mind as it was well insulated so you could barely hear it. Plus it’s what you expect being in the centre but worth noting if you are an extremely light sleeper. Please remember this is nothing to do with the property which itself is 10/10
Katie is an exceptionally generous, friendly and efficient host and because of her 80 Watergate Street is a really special place to stay. Our room was particularly comfortable and very elegantly furnished. Everything we could possibly need was provided including tasty treats each day. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. On arrival Katie welcomed us with coffee and cake and provided information and recommendations to help us get the most out of our stay in Chester. The B& B is very well situated within the city walls so it is easy to walk everywhere. We loved our stay at 80 Watergate Street. I would recommend it highly.
Katie was a fabulous host. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Little extras of baked goods which was lovely . Would most definitely stay here again.
Clean & comfortable stay with a friendly host. Would happily stay again
Excellent location for city centre. High spec furnishings/amenities in the bedroom and communal areas, really comfy bed. Good choice of items for breakfast including a huge full English. Lovely touch of freshly baked cake each day and for the journey home . Best flapjack we’ve tasted. Would have no hesitation in recommending and returning.
