This was a short stay for us, but we enjoyed it immensely, the Kings Hotel is central, and staff very pleasant and helpful, we would certainely return to this hotel.
Nothing to dislike.
The room was lovely and centeral to travel to places
the bathroom sink plugs could be easier to use
We were last the hotel 40 years ago on our honeymoon and returned for our ruby anniversary, the only thing the same was the front door but it has been modernised beautifully and everything was perfect.
The only problem was the parking, we were lucky to have friends who picked us up each day so we didn't have to move the car but it still had a dent in the side.a
I like bedroom - window brighten, TV on wall, we watched 'Dambuster' film late night after the party. Tea / coffee plentyful with milk and water in the mini bar free.
Bath only is very high sharp edging. Plug when press and sometimes plug out when foot touch.
Comfort of the room and the extensive evening meal menu
excessive charge for room service - for one teabag!!
Everything! 10 out of 10!
The rooms were gorgeous and the breakast was geat too!!
Cleanliness of hotel
Our room was overlooking a building site, which I was not informed about at the time of booking!! The language from the builders was disusting, and the noise from the site was unbearable. The day we arrived we were treated like second class citizens because a chef was having an opening night for his restaurant. This was our first holiday in three years and was completely ruined and unenjoyable.
Continental breakfast + newspaper taken to bed in the morning
2 alarm clocks went on at 7 and 8 am. There was no luggage room and we had to leave our bags in the hotel hall after the day after checking out
The quality of the rooms and central location.
With windows open room was a little noisy with outside traffic etc
