Pros: I’m a fan of Icelandair. We have only done the Saga Upgrade so I cannot speak to economy. Food is great, seats are comfy, and entertainment is great.

Cons: I don’t really know what happened but it was over an hour for us to get our bags afterward at SFO which caused us to miss our connecting flight to LAX, so we had to wait until next day to fly. This was also the busiest travel day of the year and storms everywhere so likely out of their control. Not the hugest deal but was harder to get on connecting flight since Icelandair doesn’t have a ticket counter at SFO. Would never prevent me from flying with them again, I always have issues at SFO so avoid that airport altogether anyways- will try to go around going through there on our next iceland trip!

Cons: Had a horrible time reserving a seat ( willing to pay) because the confirmation number changed and I was not informed. Took several calls to BA, a trip to the airport and an act of god to finally mange it. Was very stressful.

Pros: The staff was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. They made sure we had timely service for all aspects of the trip. Business class was comfortable.

Cons: Late. No other flights to Milan for 12 plus hours. Rerouted to a different airport. Rental car at Mxp so have to taxi back and forth. Missed tours etc. no apparent reason for being late. Weather was fine.

Pros: The customer service phone number was impossible to get through on in order to take to someone within 24 hours of my flight in order to make my Special Meals request as I have Celiac's Disease. I was unable to make this selection at booking as when you book through a third party like Expedia, which I did, you cannot access the same internal tools required to make that selection. You can ONLY then call once you have checked in before the flight in order to let the airline know of your Special Meal needs. This is not only a terrible policy as it undercuts those who ARE ultimately still buying tickets to their airline, and that the airline is CHOOSING to sell. It provided me with an extremely subpar experience of the airline but left up to the last minute with doubts about my ability to board a 13 he international flight without the reassurance that I would have ANY meals aboard and no other options should that be the case. Right before my flight departed I was reassured that the information we had requested Expedia relay to the airline internally the day before, who we called when we couldn't get through to the airline, WAS able to convey this Special Meal request and I was going to have food on the flight, so I then did not purchase a bunch of snacks in the airport to have as options. The first meal in, no Special Meal was provided and I had to explain then entire situation all over again. They assured me they would figure it out and get me taken care of. However, no one who assisted me conveyed this to anyone else on the flight and every time food was dispersed, same situation. This was stressful and exhausting and the options provided me were modified to be gluten free, such as an entire plate of fruit for my snack, instead of the protein heavy snack everyone else received, because there truly wasn't extra for that type of dietary restriction. This was stressful and I was very hungry on the flight. One of the attendants got me a few chunks of cheese from first class, but otherwise, it wasn't great. I would advise travelers with Special Meal requests NOT to fly with AirCanada.

Cons: I feel the options when the flights didn’t work out could be much better and the managers could be more helpful with finding accommodations. For example my flight was canceled the young lady behind the counter was more helpful than the manager when exploring options to get me on my way to Sudbury in which I had to catch the bus which was fine but to get to that conclusion took forever they provided a ride to the station and thats it

Pros: I loved wine and whiskey. Blanket and blindfolds, headphones helped me sleep. Care packet with toothbrush came in handy.

Cons: The Sears were tight and thin. I felt pushes from behind. I could not recline the seat enough. I didn't get a window seat, which is my favorite.

Cons: There was a medical issue and Virgin Atlantic refused to accept the ticket code - for any price - toward a new ticket. I paid for a new ticket and took another airline.

Cons: techical problems announced AFTER plane was fully boarded, took 1-1/2 hours with no refreshments offered except the water bottles at seat. However, captain did make periodic announcements as to progress of repairs.

Cons: Terrible to have to pay 70 Euros when you are an elite gold status member. And no mention of this during booking process and checkin unless you dig in deep via links. Not used to this with other airline partners and likely last time I am flying SAS

Cons: Aircraft A330-300 sucks. It is SLOW! Boeng-777 did Moscow-Houston flight in 10 hours, but this A330 flew from Frankfurt to Atlanta in the same time. Shelves for baggage are small - it is not enough room for all passenger bags. Entertainment can be better. Food... It could be SIGNIFICANTLY better! Or just do not serve it et al. If I could I would not buy it.

Pros: Virgin have flying down to a fine art and always worth the premium economy experience. As a business traveller I always try to book Virgin where possible.

No shuttle behind security from Term B to Term A. Plane left earlier than announced on notification apps. DCA website=6:25pm Final call at 5:47pm only word DELAY on term screen with 4:10time.
