The hotel was very clean and modern. The beds had nice linens and pillows. However, we stayed at The Drury the next night and for less money the hotel was the same quality with nicer staff and way more added freebies.
The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors conversations. The water pressure in the shower was lacking. The front desk staff were not very courteous. The hotel is so large it was terrible getting our luggage to our room.
The staff were SUPER nice
Bathroom could use a refresh. Why put a makeup mirror where only people 6' could use it?
Good location and onsite amenities
Outdated, old beds, dirty linens and carpets. Musky odor throughout hotel...definitely a 1-2 star experience.
2nd time to stay here. Would stay a 3rd time.
The public areas of the hotel were nice.
Our room on the 4th floor was SO damp. Everything felt wet including the bedding and floor. It also felt unclean. There was a whole piece of licorice in the middle of the floor. Very unpleasant stay.
The front desk staff were very friendly and checked us in quickly. Our room was spacious and very clean. Loved the waterfall shower head and toiletry selection.
Staff was friendly.
The room was of a good size. The location was relatively close to the University of Missouri Columbia. The sleeping part of the room was clean. The internet was adequate. There was a decent selection of TV.
The bathroom had numerous long, black hairs on various walls, but particularly the shower/tub, prior to my using the bathroom. The remote control for the TV only worked intermittently. The A/C left the room either at too hot, or too cold.
friendly staff, ample parking, very nice facility. good fitness area with enough treadmills etc. the place seemed very clean and well-maintained.
indoor pool sitting area very small, and boisterous children can take it over. that was the only negative. oudoor pool area makes up for it, though.
Very nice open spaces to relax. Swimming pool and exercise room was very nice.
When I turned on the air conditioner debris came out like it had not been cleaned but cleared up within a few minutes.
Very bad pillows. Very small and uncomfortable. The pool was dirty and the fountain attached to the pool was not on and had broken tiles.
Pet friendly area. Restaurant very kid friendly. Very friendly staff.
The location is great. It's easy to get to the Mizzou campus, as well as any number of restaurants, and easy access to I-70.
The walls must be made out of paper. I could hear every word of every conversation in the room next door. I heard every sneeze, cough, and flushing of the toilet. I had to download a white noise app on my phone just to get some sleep!
Their responsiveness when teenagers were running in the hallway, knocking on their friends doors, running back their room and slamming the door. This was at 11:00 p.m. They sent security immediately and the unruly noise ceased.
Very popular hotel for youth teams to stay. With young teenagers, you need to anticipate loud noise until midnight or earlier if security gets involved.
Friendly staff, early check in without charge, reasonable check out time, clean, updated, comfortable bed. Probably one of the nicest places to stay in Columbia.
I was hesitant about booking this hotel because of some of the reviews. However, something I look for in a hotel is cleanliness. It is definitely a priority. Our room was clean and so were the areas in the lobby.
My husband and I were not fans of the Sport's Zone restaurant. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and they had all of their tvs on sports channels. I can understand for lunch or dinner times, but having 25 tvs on during breakfast was distracting.
Public spaces and assistant hotel manager professionalism
Extremely noisy rooms - A/C was too loud and soundproofing terrible. Could hear TV and conversations in next room. Internet was patchy (but new system was being installed). 2 out of 7 days my room was not made up even though I left it in the morning
The staff was very friendly and was able to upgrade us to a room to better meet our needs
The indoor pool was in poor repair. The pool floor was chipping and the pool area was very dirty.
The hotel was filthy and not well maintained. The indoor and outdoor pool's were murky and the space around the pool had not been maintained and was dirty. Everything made us feel 'gross' after being in the room. Internet did not work the entire (4) days.
