Cortina is an great base for day walks in the Dolomites . The staff were professional, friendly and very helpful in helping us with advice , buses and transport .

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous! The best hotel I have ever stayed in; from the beautiful and tasteful decor, the relaxing atmosphere, to the level of comfort and attentiveness of the staff - all 5 star. The staff were on hand whenever you needed them, sometimes it felt like they predicted what you might need! We went into town for dinner on a whim one evening and as we left we asked reception to recommend a restaurant which they did. As we waited for the hotel shuttle, they told us they had rung ahead and reserved a table for us which we really appreciated. The maids left our room immaculate each morning and evening and the bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail in the rooms was lovely. The spa facilities were wonderful and the gym was far better than a standard hotel gym. The breakfast was amazing, you could blend your own smoothies, there was a full honeycomb, smoked salmon, soft and hard cheeses, a selection of cured meat, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, a full english - we were spoilt for choice. We ate dinner twice in the restaurant which was delicious. In the evening we liked to sit in the bar before dinner with a cocktail and complimentary nibbles and listen to the pianist play. We didn't want to leave, and would go back to Cortina just to stay in the hotel again!
Cons: I can't fault it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: PERFECTION OF SERVICE!!! One of the most wonderful & perfect experiences we have had in any hotel around the world. The staff is so perfectly trained and selected that their service is not only friendly, courteous, and kind, but also impressively intuitive. They think of anything and everything you might need and want. Service is a delight! It is not often that I remember the names of staff members at hotels we stay, but in this case I will always remember the amazing service in all of these instances: When greeted and personally escorted to our room by Dario who has incredible soft skills and provides outstanding service! When served by Stefano and Giuseppe during our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Their friendliness, politeness, and intuition was admirable! Every time we were perfectly assisted by Antonio, in charge of valet parking! When we checked out assisted by Diana, who was highly accommodating with our special requests. Even our massage with Piergiorgio was perfect. He was also intuitive, professional, with healing hands and obviously highly trained in massage therapy. Oberoi, Aman, St. Regis, and Mandarin Oriental, among others, strive to provide service this high, usually never reaching this perfection. Congratulations Cristallo!!!!! We can’t wait to be back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was superb, The staff were very professional, friendly and kind. The rooms were very comfortable, beautiful with great views. In general the Hotel was gorgeous ❤️
Cons: It will be great if you add rinser in in the bathrooms near the WC.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked almost everything, as was noted in the comment card we left with the hotel. The universally helpful, professional capable and friendly staff at all levels most impressed. Specifically, we found: Stefano to be an excellent “sommelier” with a wide and deep knowledge of the wines in a carefully structured list, as well as his ability to change roles to suit each situation that arose with equanimity; Canio to be extremely helpful with his wide knowledge of the geography and activities in and around Cortina, in particular his skill with cartography and at the same time his down to earth explanations to convey his knowledge of the mountain passes we wanted to cross; Giuseppe and Barbara for their tireless care to make everything perfect despite facing situations like large, demanding, noisy crowds of guests and others who make stolid errors like spilling food; Claudio at the bar for his attention to detail and the care he takes to provide what you want; We also admired the chef for always finding new ways to present similar ingredients with beauty; And of course the countless porters, valets, waiters, housekeepers and others whose names we don’t know. While the physical building with its unsurpassed view is excellent, we feel the human touch is key.
Cons: From our perspective, the main shortcoming is the lack of adequate air-conditioning which you can not operate but controlled by the hotel.
10.0 Excellent

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner couldn't be more helpful: he volunteered to pick us at the bus-station, which was most convenient, as it rained a lot when we arrived. And when next day (all wet after a walk in knee-deep snow) we had to come back from Cortina before supper time, we phoned and it was no problem to use their stove to heat our lasagnas. Good breakfasts. The whole area is magnificent, so the walk from the centre is very scenic in good weather.
Cons: Illumination in the room can be improved. A detailed topographic map hanging on a wall would be nice decoration and make it easier to understand walking possibilities our kind host suggested. And if some places provide sleepers, beeing able to borrow snow-shoes in Cortina would be brilliant!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owners, great hospitality
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location is awesome. I liked the worm welcome.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is very cute and comfortable. The location is good. The owners are really very welcoming, helpful and sweet, and the breakfast was just perfect.

Pros: Marco and Annarosa were extremely hospitable and accommodating. They were flexible with the times for breakfast we asked for and upon our leaving day (we had to leave very early), they still made us breakfast and took us to the bus station. The breakfast was delicious with many options (including tarts!) and hot beverages. Their place is super cozy, and it feels like home. Overall, the hosts and place was lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners could not have been kinder. When we arrived, they had coffee, tea, and cookies waiting for us and took the time to chat and laugh. In the morning, we had a decadent breakfast with many pastries-was like being at a bakery! Unbelievable experience with the kindest people!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly people, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Very good breakfast with home made bakery! Nearby lake worth visiting.

Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The hotel itself is also outstanding. The junior suits are on two levels (bed above with skylight that opens) and have a great feel. We highly recommend these rooms.
Cons: The hotel is currently undergoing expansion and during the day construction sounds are significant. Also, the rooms on the lowest level are surprisingly warm, perhaps due to the adjacent spa facilities. The manager did move us when we indicated our discomfort, which was much appreciated.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel and the comfort are great I slept very well in the beds SPA and gym are very nicce
Cons: Hotel built new rooms and construction work started at 7:00am..... Breakfast could be better but okay I am in Italy. Prieces in the restaurant are very high (Spaghetti 18€......) - no comment

Pros: Really lovely hotel which lives up to it's star rating. Room quality is much higher than surrounding hotels
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect. One of the best Hotels I ever have seen. The service was excellent and the cook is a star.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The chalet mood mixed with modern design resulted in a fancy yet understated luxury hotel. I liked the modern touch of the room and the warm pool with a mountain view. The staff was very flexible and although we've arrived very late in the night the receptionist was kind enough to help us with the luggage and even served us the drinks we wanted. And so was the next day receptionist who allowed us for a late check out in order to enjoy the spa. A very good and diversified breakfast (assisted by a discreet and helpful Romanian waiter) and also a gourmet menu we enjoyed for lunch in the restaurant.
Cons: The room was a bit too small and a solid wooden flowerpot by the entrance which inexplicable bumped into my car's rear bumper on departure :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice view from dining room of the hotel.
Cons: Swimming is too small and there is no Air condition. Be careful for those who travel during summer.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The choice of pillows.
Cons: We had no place to hang our bath robes and swimming costumes after swimming
6.8 Good
Pros: The food in the restaurant was delicious. The rooms were clean, nice and stylish.
Cons: We selected this hotel to relax in the spa area. This was not possible because right above the spa area is heavy construction work ongoing. Therefore its very noisy and unpleasant in the sauna. When we wanted to use the outdoor sauna instead, we discovered that it was not switched on. The personal corrected this immediately, but it took 30min to heat up. This should not happen in this kind of hotel. Also the blanket in the beds are quite thin. My wife was freezing during the night. When we mentioned this at the reception the answer was: “you are lucky that it’s not winter time, the nights would be even colder….”

Pros: The staff was very friendly & helpful

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This apartment located very near to cable car station and city center. All the equipment for cooking and eating is well prepared. (except salt, pepper...) even there was dish washer and they supplied detergent (which was really great). our room was upgraded, and had a fantastic view, large living room, and large balcony. we loved it! This hotel shares spa and wellness center with a luxurious hotel across the road, so the wellness area was also luxurious. Shower towel, gowns, sleepers are prepared. Swimming cap is mandatory in pools and jacuzzi but if you don't have it, they sell it for only 3 euros. They have hammam, finnish sauna, .. and so on, and also relaxing area. We also loved it. They also had two MTB and two electric bikes, which can be rented for 3 hours for free, but unfortunately due to bad weather, we had no chance to use those. Room was clean and new, the cleaning service was perfect, the staffs were friendly. There are umbrellas to rent, we used it very gladly. We loved every part of this hotel. Definitely will use it again, if there is a chance. Parking is 15 euros per day, had many spaces. located below the hotel across the road, you have to ask first for the code to open the gate of parking lot. Recommend first unload everything at the gate then park the car. because it is slightly far from the parking lot to the room.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Loved the spacious apartments that were cleaned daily by housekeeping! Great spa/pool to swim in across the street. Very helpful staff, so friendly.
Cons: Washer dryer in apartment would have been great.

Cons: No Air conditions! In the mid of the summer this is a problem.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed and nice balcony
Cons: There was no air-conditioning while it was very hot. No breakfast included. We had to pay for the coffee in the room at the end of our stay even though the receptionist told us at the check in coffee was complementary.

Pros: The lady receptionist is very friendly and lovely to talk to. She is the best asset the hotel has I would say. The hotel location. The resort itself is fantastic. The price of the room was very good for the size of the room. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
Cons: The decor is a bit dated, didn’t really get that impression from booking.com. The views from the suite are more rooftop than mountains, fine for me, but just temper your expectations! The bath tap switch didn’t quite work - water only came out of the shower head unless you held the button down. The male staff seemed a bit grumpy in general, especially when they ran out of boiled eggs and we asked for more . Breakfast was good but there are not hot items available and it is the same every day, this is normal though. All that said, it is a nice hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Villa Alpina!! The owner was really kind, he offered us an upgrade and the junior suite was rather comfortable with lovely views of the mountain!! The hotel and the room were super clean, the location ideal as it is located close to the market and same time so silent area. The breakfast is delicious, especially the coffee! The staff is very friendly, the breakfast waitress and the front desk team!!! Thanks Villa Alpina team for the memorable stay we enjoyed, we definitely recommend this hotel to all visitors at Cortina D' Ampezzo!!
Cons: We should have stayed more...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This hotel fit our needs perfectly for our stay in Cortina. After settling into the room we drove into Cortina to explore and have dinner, about 2 miles away. The villa was very large and comfortable, with an awesome view! The bed was big and comfortable. This is a quiet place with great views!
Cons: We had a car, so it was not a issue for us, could be very difficult to access without a car. The villa is about 1/2 a mile away, up a steep hill. The check-in is done at their hotel on the main street. After checking in, you are given directions and pretty much on you own after that. You also have to drive back to the hotel for breakfast and check-out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable rooms, very friendly staff
Cons: Wish there was at least a coffee pot in rooms.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best possible locations in Cortina, ski bus stop in front of the hotel, good and various breakfast, wide room, comfortable beds, car parking. The owner told us that in the next months the hotel will be refitted.
Cons: The bathroom needs a refit
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff and fabulous location. Great views from the large room
Cons: Single beds were too narrow for my liking and the shower recess was really hard to slide open and to close. The TV if you could call it that was too small for the size of the room.

Cons: Poor wifi connection Breakfast was average -have stayed in 3/4 stars hotels in dolomites with much better selections For a 5 star hotel in a ski town, I'm surprised there was no complimentary hotel shuttle to ski lifts. You have to take taxi which was 15-25 Euro one way depending on which lift (or unreliable public ski bus)

Pros: Breakfasts was excellent, the terrace outside has the view of the dolomites and the service was exceptional by a Native cuban in the alps. We also Had Dinner and was very good, I had the Venison tartare and my wife chose the capaccio ans an entree , both were sublime. Pros: Beautiful setting in the mountains, lovely alpine rooms and very friendly and helpful service. We came to ride the maratona and whilst corvara and san cassiano would be better locations this is a good alternative. 30 minute drive over the falzarego to the start line. Thanks

Pros: Excellent location for a cycling holiday. Part way up Falzarego and just past the turning for the Giau. No other properties within walking distance but the food here is excellent so there’s no need to look elsewhere. This place is all about the solitude, the views and the food. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the entire place is spotless. Can’t wait to return
7.0 Good
Cons: Before visiting there, I read about concerns on hospitality problem, but I liked the room conditions, etc, and made a reservation. It turned out to be very unpleasant experience, among which I have ever experienced in my life. No one has treated me like that way in my life. That terrible moment happened at the breakfast. I was complimenting how good their breakfast was and suddenly the terrace door opened all by itself. I was the one sitting next to the door, so I walked out and closed it. But suddenly the owner came and shouted at me “no no no!!”. Everyone at the breakfast room was startled. I told the owner the situation, but he kept acting as if I broke the door lock. As the only thing I did was closing the door which opened by itself, it was clear that the door was not broken. After that shout, he did not make apology. At the check-out, I was told that he did it because the door has safety issue(which they should have noticed it in advance). However, by seeing the attitude that he made after shouting, acting as if I broke the door, I would not buy that excuse. So, here’s the thing. You may not experience the same that I had(which was the worst experience), but keep in mind that the owner is not capable of running the Rifugio.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Not so close to the skiing resort as expected

Pros: Small, well-kept and cosy B&B type of hotel close to the centre of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Located just outside the city centre this place was easy to reach and performed well as we stayed there for hiking and biking during late July. Rooms were clean and modern bathrooms were nicely renovated. We had room no 12 on the first floor and it was quiet and had a great balcony towards the stream and around the corner. The bed was quite hard, but extremely comfy (one of the best sleeps I've had). Breakfast was good and service also.

Pros: Very nice hotel for a summer holiday. It is settled a bit further from the town centre but 2 min away by car, or you can use hotel shuttle bus which operates every 30 min.
