I did stayed at this hotel before the name changed to Bourbon. Now, is nothing to be liked in my opinion. At this price? This is my last time. Thank you.
this hotel seems to be only interested in Business clients and not the regular holiday-maker. we thought the service was very poor. would not be staying again at this hotel.
close to airport not sure if it deserves 4 star rating, probably 3 star more appropriate
Comfortable bed. Area around the hotel is nice with good restaurants and shopping. Spacious room. I would liken it to an older, but still in good condition, Hilton.
In total, the hotel and the staff are OK, The hotel i would rate 7 from 10 and the staff 8.5 from 10. Negativ i found followings: 1. because i came 5 hours earlier from the airport, the hotel charged me 50% from an entire daily rate. 2. Exchange rates of the hotel are 25-30% lower than any exchange office. 3. To use you electonic devices you need an adaptor which cost at the reception 24 Reals. The same device you get in the shop nearby for 4.99. The hotel taxi (black) charged us 45 Reals for the same distance where we payd 24-25 Reals with normal Taxis. This things make no honor for the hotel management.
Good location near to many restaurants and shopping center very small bathroom, with shower only (no bath). Internet not included in the price. Unpleasant lobby bar
The check-in and check-out was very bad due to a lack of attention by the staff of this hotel.
The shower was not so good. But it was a minor thing.
The hotel is value for money. Well located just opposite side Ibirapuera mall. The rooms are roomy and clean. Breakfast is farily good with lots of options. The restaurant is not big enough to accomodated the guests during the peak hour of the breakfast.
convenience to my needs, just a layover for the weekend that allowed me to work. No complaints, however, 2 items: 1) I know that people have complained about the planes. They didn't bother me. 2) This questionnaire is more than 4 questions

The breakfast! I gained about 2 kilos... The bed was not "premium grade", low shower pressure is the default in Brazil.
Best possible location two blocks from Paulista and the MASP metro stop. You need to be near a Metro in SP because taxis could get caught in traffic jams. Everything about his property is first rate--a true 4 star. Also, a spectacular breakfast space. There is nothing to dislike. It's the best possible place to stay in SP--and the price is right!
Location, room and Staff! internet connection should improve. Also a Business would be a Plus!
Great service, mostly English-compatible (note that in Brazil, that's actually a bit rare), nice quiet gym with gorgeous balcony overlooking city, good sized and well-appointed room, clean and friendly overall. Weak food service (made up for by the fact that some of the best food in Sao Paulo is right there), tiny TV.
The location was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful the gym was small and poorly equipped; the glass door in the bathroom was dirty; the food was just OK (but the coffee and juice was excellent)
The fact that it was close to the Congonhas Airport in Sao Paulo. That was a determining factor. The basin in my apartment's bathroom (2011) was clearly out of place and needed to be fixed, although everything worked properly.
Nice rooms, everyone went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable despite our late arrival Or pre-booking through Kayak was not in their reservations. However they got us a room (a free upgrade) and investigated the problem the next morning. By the time we checked out the issue was resolved and our reservation confirmed.
Staff was helpful regarding information about the city, as far as they understood. I was promised an extension of my stay for the same price. Next day the reception refused it. I checked out, and I shall not return. Most of the reception staff cannot understand basic English, nor Spanish, nor 'Portanhol'. They are therefore not suitable for a 4-star hotel in Brazil's key business city.
Good location for the purpose of my business trip
location, free parking, friendly staff. I thought the price was too much. I[ve stayed at much better hotels for the same price
Internet was free.. Breakfast was good No iron.. No microwave, no coffee machine
Clean, fare, good breakfast with fresh fruits. Being a flat it has separated bedroom and living room and a I missed an air conditioned in the living room an a microwave oven. Really weird eggs int the breakfast.
prompt service It was promissed in the reservation to have hobebath and the hotel do not suply it.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay -- answered questions from food in the area, sites to visit, safety of the city, how early to arrive at the airport, anything you can think of! None
hotel was well located in the center, clean rooms good breakfast but we had an issue about the airport transfer. they indicate that they have airport transfer but then they charge you 100brl for the transfer. they charge for airport transfer even if its not indicated on the hotel details.
Well located, good pool Loud construction that began in the building in the morning, very very small bathroom (barely enough space for one person), tiny beds, virtually no amenities in the bathroom, Poorly lit hallways
Very adecuated location
The Itaim Bibi neighborhood is safe and lively. Plenty of good restaurants to eat and drink at. The hotel staff was absolutely appalling, though. I was shocked at how rude someone who voluntarily works in the service industry could be, especially when it seemed due to the fact that I was speaking English. Hello, you are a clerk at an international hotel, in an international city! What do they expect? One woman, though, came from the back and kindly assisted me. She gets 5 stars. The rest of them, rude, unprofessional, and singlehandedly assured that I will never stay here or recommend it to anyone ever again. This hotel is disgusting. Giant, black stains all over my carpet. Not clean at all. The pictures aim to trick you! No air conditioning, the room was stuffy and hot. I had to leave the balcony open at all times, just to breathe. With warm weather outside, it meant I was never fully comfortable. The people at the front desk made me feel like I was a problem because they didn't speak English. So rude, acted like they didn't want to help customers. I don't require tons of attention and service, just courteous behavior as anyone would expect. Not available here. No hotel information in room. No idea how to get laundry done, use internet, hotel services directory. Nothing. This place is a complete joke. Breakfast was disgusting, too.
location in Jardim Air Condition to low
This is a modern, international hotel with english-speaking staff. Our room was spacious although the toilet/shower area was quite small. Breakfast was very good with superb fresh fruit and a mix of cold and hot meats etc. Staff were invariably helpful. We found that there wasn't enough storage space in the room. We were, however, in the hotel for 7 nights so we came with quite a lot to store.
Roof top swimming pool and view from roof top.
Clean hotel with good facilities Expensive, with charges for everything. Local calls were very expensive. I was charged more than $50 for a few local phone calls. Most expensive I have seen across the globe.
Modern hotel, in upmarket, safe, area of S.P. Twenty-plus floors with good gym and pool on the roof. Good facilities in room and balcony (only up to tenth floor). Powerful shower, comfy bed, good breakfast with short-order cook on eggs, waffles and pancakes. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. This could just be me, but I got more mossie bits in one night at the hotel than in the 10 previous days all round Sao Paulo and Rio states...despite my "jungle strength" spray! Beware!
staff tried hard and location good pretty worn out. not 5 star facility as advertised.
Location, friendliness of local staff, ositive general atmosphere. There should be more brochures, magazines, books on tourism attractions and what to do in Sao Paulo. There were none available in rooms or lobby. Staff should be better informed of addresses (restaurants, coiffeurs, etc).
Basic facilities, clean, location, friendliness of staff. Positive general atmosphere. Expensive internet service. No many informations about attractions and what to do in Sao Paulo.
location , room size , beds very confortable only the bathroom was very small .
They only have internet at 64K. If you want more bandwidht you have to pay R$30 per day for 512K.
Breakfast and position No
Free Internet, total safety, breakfast, room service, big room and confortable bed. 1.- I called maintenance technicians to put the video channel for my camera. They came and did not know how to solve the problem. I am still waiting for them!!! 2.- Too strict with check out time. I had to pay half a daily rate for a few more hours after being one week in the hotel. 3.- They do not accept any Frequent Traveller card as they do in other countries.
Good location, attentive staff. Pillows and mattress very hard. Hallways need an update, carpet frayed.
Breakfast - slow to refill
The hotel served our purpose very well. The location was perfect for our needs. There are several restaurants near by, the neighborhood is safe, the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a little coffee shop in the lobby that had great coffe and wonderful desserts. I thought there was a jacuzzi at the hotel, that was in the website and there were signs indicating that there was, but they removed it over 5 years ago according to the staff.
The staff of this Hotel, the name Mr. Mauricio was very bad attending about my comments regarding the wake up call. I'm really afraid about his attention.I will update this information in Japanese Committee to take care when they use this Hotel.
The location. The service.
best hotel that I have stayed in Sao Paolo!!
Very well located, just one block from Paulista Av. and in Jardins area. Efficient and helpful staff (except loudy housekepers!). I recommend!
Placement and accessibility non
Excellent location close to beach. Many nice restaurants within walking distance. Staff were friendly and efficient. Free wired internet in rooms was fast. Rather old rooms, and a little noise from the street.
The breakfast was good, the live music and bar were very nice, the staff was very attentive. Check in time of 2:00 PM is very late. Check out time of 12:00 PM is very early. Wireless internet access should be free like most hotels in the US.
Great location, nice staff and good price Small rooms and not cleaned thoroughly; beds not very comfortable, shower not consistent, and thin walls
The fitnees center, restaurant and service.
it was ok elevators
Awesome view from Estaiada Bridge in São Paulo and location. Staff always kind. Recommended!
Room with fair square footage and comfortable bed Room wasn't neat Bed poorly made Room had a rugged carpet Bad shampoo No golf channel
Good money for value hotel. Very central location. Nice staff
Liked the service provided by the reception and very accomodating.Good Location. N/A
clean rooms, good location for business purposes, good breakfast, helpful staff, good value wireless only in lobby
the room was spacious, good location
it is close to paulista ave. and the area were is located is nice. very old hotel, carpets and deco old. room was not so clean, but it was larger than i espected.
Very well situated. Excellent price.
The way the room has been designed, the efficiency of the staff The breakfast (though offering plenty of options) could be a little bit better in terms of quality.
the receptionist speaks fluent english and is very helpfull . The location is perfect, only 5 minutes walk to Av.Paulista . The hotelrooms are large and clean. The restaurant is very good. we were in the hotel during the winter and the breakfast room inside is not large enough for all guests, so we had to sit outside in the garden, which was cold and not comfortable.
They had an English speaking staff member who was very helpful!! The location was very convenient, a few blocks from Metro and MASP museum. Nice neighborhood restaurants also including Subway and Domino's Pizza all within walking distance. The room was very clean, roomy, had cable TV, the bed pretty comfortable, had a desk area, overall very nice for the price, would stay again!!! Also the breakfast buffet was very good and plenty to eat! No complaints at all!
Location is very good i arrived at midnigth and the buffet service never answer the call to service to my room..., on another hand they didnt wake me up at the last moring and i needed to run to the airport...,
Hotel was excellent, staff was amazing, especially Fillipe who helped me out loads. A mistake was made to my booking and I was upgraded. This hotel is a true 5 star experience... and it charges 5 star rates... however, I thought the 5 star rates were competitive with other 5 star hotels. Everything really was to the expected standard so I give it full marks. I was traveling all around Brazil and by the time I got to Tivoli I had some laundry to do. It cost me 430 reais to do a white and dark load... wooops!!! I should have checked that they were charging 10 reais to wash a little pair of underwear... (may as well just buy new stuff for that price). Bit exorbitant to say the least!
Perfect location in Jardins. Excellent facilities (gym, pool...). Good breakfast buffet with most helpful staff. Upon early arrival (just a couple of hours), I was told I would be charged for an early check-in, which I agreed to. However, I did not find fair that they would charge exactly the same daily rate offered at booking.com.
Excellent personal service. Beautiful modern design. Great location. Expensive.
A neat, nicely decorated, wall placed hotel in the center of the city, not two minutes walking from the busy Av. Paulista and the MASP museum. It's safe to walk around both during daytime and night. The staff is efficient and good humoured, though they indulge themselves a bit to much in ocasions. The spa, gym and restaurants ara A-class but a bit too expensive. I would have appreciated some all-inclusivce offers as to take more advantage to what the premises have to offer. Excellent on the whole, though.
Being at the center of Sao Paulo The room was too small
Location It feels like you're in a two star hotel, but you are actually paying for a five star. They do not provide free water in the rooms. The rooms are outdated and there is chipped wood on the doors.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a lovely location, near shops, restaurants, etc. The little outdoor heated pool amongst sofas etc was very pleasant. I was able to do some work seating in the sunshine, excellent for Londoners. The common areas are trendier than the actual rooms which are bit traditional. Overall a pleasant stay. Little niggles: no printed list of numbers/hotel facilities; spa was ridiculously expensive; kettle was provided but no cups/tea/coffee; hairdryer plug didn't fit in the bathroom plug, had to go out with wet hair (in fact there was a knack to fitting it but some of the staff did not know it); my room was very small, and lastly it was clear that they saved a bit on the hotel refurb as some of the...
Modern, efficient staff, good location and very nicely decorated rooms. Good breakfast selction also
