relatively confortable room - windows don't open properly to let fresh air in, bad restaurant;
From start to finish, the staff was more than welcoming and accomodating. I was upgraded to their nicest room available with no hesitation. They were very helpful with making sure our time in Vicenza was stress free. Wish the beds were a little less Flinstone status. A softer bed would have been great.
Made you feel welcom. The food was 1st class and also the staff. It was also in walking distance into the town of Vicenza. We would have like to have used an iron in the room but it wasnt a major problem
It was clean with friendly staff. Rooms were comfortable. Free parking on site with lifts up to each floor of the hotel. Quick check in and check out. The place was just ok. Location was further from town than I wanted - about 15 min walk from city center walls. At night it looked shady - though we were fine on the walk home and our local friend assured us it was ok.
Good value, clean comfortable large room, good breakfast buffet. Location not the best, out of city centre, need a cab, cabs are difficult to get later at night.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and understood everything we needed at any time whether face to face or by internal telephone. It would have been good to have a wider choice of Italian Food on the evening menu - after 5 days we craved stronger flavoured food i.e. Sauces for the steaks and Spaghetti but the food we ate was perfectly prepared, cooked and presented i.e. a medium cooked fillet steak was a medium cooked fillet steak 10/10
The room was too cold and the heater was not working. Asking for a kettle to boil hot water and they did not have. My wife fell sick after the first night.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Free parking in the hotel garage. Staff is ok. Breakfast is too expensive.
The Shower Cubicle has a sliding door which a panel is missing. The quality of the Shower Fittings is old and need to be replaced.
Excellent value of money/courteous staff/high standards of service/peaceful envoirments/strongly recommended for stay in Vicenza
Staff was friendly, room was nice, bathroom was nice. Breakfast was ok but dinner at the restaurant was fabulous although expensive. There is a good pizzeria/local food restaurant just a block away that is definitely worth visiting.
Customer service was great. Free parking and Internet. Lack of a hotel restaurant. A bit distant to good restaurants.
I think the best aspect for me was its proximity to train station, about a 7 minute slow walk. Also lovely garden very close by to relax on a hot day and within a 5 minute walk of shopping district.Breakfast was quite good although the room was very tiny considering the amount of rooms available, got quite crowded at times. Yes beds are very hard and quite uncomfortable. Also my room was above a large coolroom/airconditioning are which was very noisy all day and night.
The location is excellent, close to the train station, the historical centre, busses, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The room was reasonably spacious and very clean. the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. We could hear everything from the room across the hall. Luckily, our neighbours were very considerate and quiet but this could be an issue.
The room we had was a wonderful size - one of the largest we had in Italy. The bathroom was somewhat small but functional. Breakfast was average but the staff was friendly. The atmosphere of the hotel was quaint. We were not able to have the windows open at night due to traffic noise
The hotel is very central, just a 3 minute walk to city center, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Small and cosy hotel just near the trainstation (10'-15' on foot) and historical center (5' on foot). My simple single room has normal size and equipment for 3*. Personal is very affabely, especialy italian portier, who is also able to give good consultation about Vicenza and environs (where known Andrea Palladio's villas are situated). Another advantage of this hotel for me was free bicycle - it made possible to save a lot of time and simultaneously walk in the streets closed for cars or using small ways in environs. Buffet breakfast was simple but sufficient, tasty and healthy: with fresh bread, pastry and froots (including nice seansonal melon and watermelon).
The location is very good, 5 minutes walk to city center. The hotel has own parking but remember to book the place in advance. The personnel is helpful.
The location Too small shower. Old fashioned hotel.
Excellent location. Everything convenient.
Modern individual rooms. Lovely lounge to sit in with books to borrow. The breakfast was fairly basic but adequate.
The close location to the train station and downtown. We took several day trips on the train and felt like we had a "home base".
Very quiet and a fine view from the bedroom. Service is crucial to a hotel - it was poor at this one. The concierge was almost comically surly and unhelpful. The restaurant was also disappointing - fine service, but poor food.
Front Desk staff was very professional, helpful, and pleasant The hotel was worn out, run down, many facilities adverstised were closed for the winter, the breakfast service was poor as the help was more involved joking and laughing in the kitchen than caring for customers, the room maid was rude and scolded my wife when she did not hang out a "Please clean the room now" card. Not 4 star quality, definately not a SLH. That was my last stay there.
The hotel located in high place and has a wonderful view. It is not in vicenza city as written, the place is near the city. I did not receive the nice room that was show in the picture. I receive unattractive room. I have to insist to have the room that I ordered in booking.com. The stuff was unpleasant and impatient.
Enjoyed the use of the swimming pool and relaxing at the terrace.
Friendly staff, clean room, bed very comfortable
Easy to find, very clean...great deal for the price. Will definitely stay there again if I'm in that area.
The staff was very courteous and spoke multiple languages. 1. The heating system would warm the room then turn itself off for too long an interval before turning back on. I think this is a simple adjustment to the thermostat differential. 2. The towels were quite small and thin
We have chosen this hotel because it's close to Venezia. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are big, nicely designed and quiet. Altough the hotel is facing the street, it has good isolation of the windows, so this is not a problem. The reception area and the breakfast room have beautiful paintings on the walls, which makes the atmosfere enchanting. Also, the breakfast selection was very good. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. -
great hotel and the price is fantastic. good selecton at breakfast. the most comfortable beds we've had in Italy. location is 30 minutes driving from Vicenza but we used it as a base for visiting Vicenza, Verona, Padua area.
good parking, free internet at room, Gentle staff Fittness center was always closed
Position and Internet Access
Staff was very friendly.Rooms not to big but clean. The restaurant was closed and it was about 5 km to nearest restaurant
I like price and comfort. Breakfast was poor, room was stinking because of cigaretes!
very discreet staff but professional, room with proper airco and stable internet connection price of internet connection (10 euros/24 hours) too high
flexibility and professionalism of staff
The hotel staff was wonderful! No
staff is impeccable, facilities are good, cleanliness of room nothing really
staff very discreet and professional restaurant although good might benefit from a wider choice of dishes.
Reception and restaurant staff all very friendly. Excellent parking arrangements. Food very nice indeed.
as usual the staff is very friendly and helpful. Airconditioning was switched off and room was too warm
The staff was very accommodating when I needed to retrieve my email to get the address of car rental location I had to have for the next day. The evening sandwich meal at the bar was very enjoyable due to the woman working at the bar. The breakfast was truly a full breakfast - as advertised (some places SAY full breakfast, but you get only a continental breakfast). The only negative was the location. We knew nothing about Vicenza, so I had no idea that I would be that far from the town. It's very close to the Autostrasse, which made it easy to find, but I was nervous about noise. Gladly, there was NO noise from the highway (or anywhere else!). As stated above, very close to Autostrasse. Lovely hotel, but the view highway was not lovely. There was no noise from the highway, however. It seemed like a great place for business conventions or meetings.
The rooms and staff were great!
Good access from highway exit. Good shopping center nearby.Bathroom equipment was nice. Glass wall makes room cold in late autumn (electric heating was insufficient, need good-old steam system). Glass corridor which gives zero insulation but good ventilation to the outside made it warth.Wired internet service (Eur 5/day) is too slow; only 1M per sec but feels like 56k.
The location is perfect. The design and decoration of the hotel has been beautifully done, making it both luxurious and comfortable at the same time. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. None what so ever.
Friendly, clean, located right in town and close to walking tours of the main buildings.
Beautifully refurbished old building in an attractive small town. Attention to detail. Helpful staff with excellent English. Lack of English language programmes on the large flat screen TV.
the staff and the simplicity of design I thought it was too expensive.
I enjoyed the stay very much, becaurse the hotel was located right in the center of vicenza. Everything was fine, exept the breakfast was very poor.
We prefer small, quiet, comfortable, contemporary with a design flair. It was all that! Street signage in Vicenza like so many Italian cities is hard to find and thus hotel is tucked into the walls literally. We now know where it is but we had a difficult time locating it....
The location of the hotel is superb inside the old city and the design of the room, minimalistic but elegant. Franco was very friendly to arrange dinner rerservations.
Our room was spacious and very new with kitchenette facilities and a big bathroom. Ask for the studio on the top floor! Hotel has very limited parking. Buzzer in our room was connected to the front door so there were interruptions!
Fabulous small modern hotel, the nicest we stayed in during our trip. The rooms were immaculate and the furnishings top quality. Friendly owner. Be aware that check in starts at 14.30 so don't arrive before then.
small, boutique, updated hotel.excellent old town location.
The staff let me check in early and greeted me with a coffee. It was greatly appreciated as I had arrived on an overnight train with no sleep and was wet from the rain. These little things make a huge difference!
Well located for exploring Vicenza on foot and with car parking. Clean and comfortable room at a good price. There was no offer of a map of Vicenza or information on local restaurants. We were pleased there was no match at the stadium opposite!
very friendly stuff, room not so small as usually in Italy location is not so comfortable for what the railway station is concerned
everything was fine and new
We stay here as it is convenient to where our son lives and the staff now know us and are very friendly
Modern clean room, good breakfast room, not too far from city centre (15 minutes max on foot). Helpful friendly staff. It is across the road from Vicenza football(soccer) stadium. I imagine it could be noisy for a few hours on Saturday afternoons in the season but not at other times and certainly not in the summer ( we were there in lat June)
our room was big and newly refurbished. the hotel is within a walking distance from the old town and the quality/price ratio was excellent. easy parking outside the hotel, by a stadium.
It was a nice hotel close to the city center and for a fair price.
Very nice hotel, very clean, pretty on the inside
the room, parking and the breakfast no
I like the large space in the ground floor and the luxury of it plus the kindness of the stuff in breakfast. i did not like my room because even if it was deluxe was small and uncomfortable
Good service, nice rooms, good prices, overall a good impression.
Breakfast was delicious - and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
Excellent...very good hotel recommended for families as well as business
the hours of the gym where very unconfortable. it opens at 9.30, and it is very late!
The staff was very friendly. The swimming pool was always busy for local activity's.
Good Breakfast, not too expensive Location, not close to anything, lots of traffic
A Quiet Business Hotel on the edge of Vicenza
The price was good and the staff was excellent. Very helpful people who actually ordered our dinner and had it delivered to hotel. Our car got hit in the parking lot. There was no cameras to capture any of it.
attentive, attentive, attentive and modern, clean.
Very helpfull staff ,free parking , easy access to high way. Far from Town center and Railway station 10-15 min drive, must have a car to get anywhere .No free internet.
The location was convenient to get to the tourist harbor in Venice for taking a cruise; the facility was very nice, and the staff were very helpful in assisting us with directions for getting to the harbor.
The Staff was very pleasant and helpful There wasn't a American Breakfast, but that is really nothing to complain about.
very good hotel, nice breakfast, very nice person.
Nice and clean room, excellent bathroom, overall nice hotel, nice breakfast. Noisy stuff during the breakfast, no clean knives at the tables, coffee included in breakfast was poor quality.
Although the hotel was busy, the staff was very helpful and efficient. The easy parking was a plus. There was nothing unpleasant about our stay.
Good value for price, clean comfortable room, air condition worked well. Huge traffic around.
The restaurant is very good The swimming pool is inaccessible as it is across a four-lane highway
The location is perfect, the rooms are large and clean. The hotel staff is helpful and polite. This is a perfect place for a few days stay.
nice buffet breakfast although they didn't put much out after 9 even though it ran till 10:30
verdant view, many meadows many ants in the bathroom!
Friendliness and competence of the hotel staff. They were very helpful.
quiet,clean far from city center
The room was very confortable, the breakfast was excellent and parking was ample. The location meant the only way to get to Vicenza was by car.
Good rooms, kitchen in the residence. Wi-Fi is absent, only cabel network. Very noisy, near big road.
I did not like the fact that they advertised allowing pets, but that they did not disclose that there would be a pet fee. Also, there was no disclosure of a fee to use the Internet facilities.
Excellent location; plenty of room for parking (no cost); excellent breakfast included in price; very helpful staff
The breakfast in the morning was good and it's great to have a restaurant on site! The shower is too small!
size of rooms
Comfortable, loads of facilities, very helpful staff, close to beautiful town
It's very nice & big room,I liked the jacuzzi.
The Hotel were very helpful when we got lost and the dinner in the hotel was good It was unfortunate that there no location instructions in the email summary of the booking as we had no satnav in the car, and hotel was out of town map
The location and you have the Palladio Shopping just few step.
The pool was great for cooling off after a warm Italian day. The two bedroom appartment was very spacious and included a kitchenette that was helpful. We had reserved to apartments for two families of 5. One apartment was spacious, the other was a one bedroom where two had to sleep on a pull out couch that did not have sunshades. The sun rises early in Italy in the summer and prevented sleep. This was partially rectified by hotel staff putting up sheets. The images of rooms on their website did not match the appearance of the rooms we had. The image of a Villa on their website had nothing to do with the hotel and was misleading.
Nothing special Very long walking distance from reception to the room
Good location, near the motorways, good parking and free wifi. It's the right choice for business travel.
Modern design, good location for my business trip and excellent comfort
This was one surprising value for the price ,as well the people on dutty as the hotel itself , never had such a value for that price , on ly the prices in the restaurant are on the high side , but here is one warm congratulation the only possible reaction , me amd my wife had one very goos stay , and the rooms are very modern luxury stile. Bravo .
It was very nice No, everythink was so good
Excellent facilities, good value for money and friendly staff.
Modern nice rooms Very very very expensive Wifi
The look and cleanliness of the room, although I think if we had been on a lower floor, the wood-like floors might have been noisy above us. The location - not just that it was outside the city - we knew that when we booked - but everything around it was grim and industrial looking. The meal when we arrived was so-so: the menu made mention of things possibly being frozen, but the scallop I had on my pasta was hardly thawed. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant, so it was just sloppy. There was also the oddest music playing - very nerve-wracking, especially after a long trip, late in the evening, and according to the waitress, whom we asked to have it turned down a bit (we felt we could since we were virtually the only ones there) - it plays all day long and drives everyone crazy.
good standard, nice personel localization at the main road ( noisy )
The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Well designed. There is a free minibar, so you always have beverages without worrying too much about additional costs. There is a small gym with steam bath which is open 24 hours. So you can access it any time. It is small but comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good with a fair selection. I highly recommend this hotel
I liked the food and the quality of the coffee; Also, the stuff is very coompetent and supporting, for any request I have presented. Yes, the dust from the furniture and mirrors.
Staff very friendly, close to Caserma Ederle for military, plenty of parking available Rooms too small, no AFN...lots of military and no U.S. television, no laundry facilities, elevators not reliable, beds extremely uncomfortable
Staff was helpful, room adequate, location convenient if you have a car. Everything was a little shabby and had a little untidy look. Breakfast was unedible.
very helpful staff and exellent location the room was quite a bit smaller than i expected, but then again i did get the cheapest room offered
Continental Breakfast, Free Internet. Room was too small. I could touch either end of the wall.
The location of the hotel provided me the access that I was looking for. It was close to the military base and less than 40 minutes from the Venice port. It was a win, win situation for me.
The quietness and friendliness of the staff. Well, I think there should have been a microwave and a little refrigde in the room.
Breakfast began at 06:00, a good time for early risers eager to start traveling. Short train ride to Venice. Close to Vicenza Army Base and numerous restaurants. Staff spoke English very well. No minibar or fridge in room. No ice machines.
The staff was great and all desk clerks spoke English, close to restaurants, excellent breakfast buffet.
In an otherwise fairly flat area the setting of the hotel near Vicenza is very good sited in an olive grove with views down the nearby valley at the rear with lovely morning views as we had the lake/valley view room. Lady proprietor very helpful. Good breakfast. Room cold on arrival as heating had not been turned on in anticipation of our arrival during coldish spell and in general hotel and rooms felt cold. Had to send one restaurant meal back as so called braised meat was very fatty and chewy. We were hoping for more from the hotel restaurant but were a little disappointed bearing in mind the photographs on the booking site. Mini bar in the room but totally empty. I do not however want to over criticise this hotel as I feel it is a work in progress as the owner has just taken it over and I am hopeful it will improve if her enthusiasm is anything to go by.
Very comfortable bed in an air-conditioned room. Convenient garage underground with lift from there all the way up through hotel. 10-15 minute walk to the centre of the city. The air-conditioning was a bit noisy.
Modern, clean, pleasant staff, huge room for 3 that could actually sleep 5. Breakfast was a bit basic. Quite a long way into town centre but a pleasant enough walk.
Breakfast did not end till 11am. Clean cosy and friendly.
In general, the staff was very courteous and helpful. Hotel is new and very well kept.
Great bathroom and good comfortable bed
clean and new design. helpful staff. don't miss the rissoteria nearby. the rooms are not so soundproofed.
Very friendly staff, very good location and very comfortable
generous breakfast, great coffee, excellent beds, quiet location, professional staff, easy to find, outdoor patio, on site parking NO
An older economical hotel in good condition with helpful staff. Within walking distance of central Vincenza Free Wireless internet was available but only in the foyer and nearby.
I have no positive points to make about this hotel. There was no lift. The staff member on arrival gave no details about wi-fi access as advertised on the web site or times for breakfast. My passport was retained by reception without explanation which has not happened to me at previous hotels I stayed at in Italy during the week. The mirror in the an suite was cracked and here were dirty pillows in the wardrobe.
Air conditioning is available. Awful condition of bathrooms (we checked two different apartments). Actually it shouldn't be classified as hotel - bathrooms need renovation urgently! The staff doesn't speak English (except one young man). We strongly advise everybody to avoid this hotel (unless you don't have any other place to sleep).
excellent friendly staff. greatly appreciated present at the checkout. complimentary extra bed for our 2 children (even if we requested only one bed). this is great for a family! the breakfast is very rich, you could find everything! I would definetively come back to La Terrazza for my next stay in Mantova! the city centre is a little far, but still at walking distance. mosquitos were the only inconvenient during our stay!
Helpful staff, although only one of them speaks English. Pleasant room. Reasonable breakfast
Excellent location ,very near to the centre.Rooms needs a refurbishment.Sanitary equipment did not function well due to excessive calcification.
Uncomfortable bed, small room, very noisie
location close to train station and historic center of Vicenza air conditioning vent located so that cold air was aimed directly at bed. This made for uncomfortable sleep.
Very close to Old Town City Centre - Very close to Central Train Station
stylish decor room lighting was limited
Space downstairs (& airconditioning) for relaxing in view of the heat outside. Good location for station & trips to Venice, Padova, Verona
Situation, and excellent breakfast expensive internet
the staff were just so friendly - one of the nicest hotels i stayed at nothing
The location was perfect being near the city centre and very close to the railway station, also the willingness of the staff to ensure that your stay is enjoyable.
The staff was very helpful and the location was great-- btwn train station and historic piazza. The sign in the lobby said the hotel was undergoing renovations.. we did not have a renovated room-- a bit tacky even for 1980. not in renovated room
Goof breakfast, good, easy to find location, enough parking space
easy location to autostrada and US military post Rooms were bare. No standard items like iron, coffee machine, refridgrator, alarm clock...standard things a three star hotel should have. Only one simple phone and a tv was provided.
the staff was very friendly and the room was fine, basic but fine. No noises around the hotel cause it was not near any building like discoteche, pub... the location was very far from the city, it is ideal if you have car. you have to pay for the wifi. the breakfast is very simple.
good location near autoroute ; breakfast is complete
this was a stop over place on our travel throughout italy. The hotel was difficult to find as this did not appear on the latest GPS. The shower was good lots of pressure. The staff were very helpful giving us things to do in Vicenza and they also smiled which was nice they need to have more variety in pillows for guest as I found the pillows very low and soft. Also more variety for breakfast
It was alittle bit dark
real effort by staff to meet requests - we felt like valued clients no - even signs were adequate to find hotel
Everything very well: room, bathroom, comfort, car garage not expensive, rich breakfast
Hotel had a very comfortable and "Homey" feel to it. Parking was a little tight
I foud there exactly what I needed.
Staff there when needed, friendly and co-operate, breakfasts were good with choice of fresh fruit as well as bread and always a bongiorno from the lady running the show at breakfast time. Lounge area was air conned and complimentary drinks on offer. Nice touch when you get back from pounding the streets!. Ride the buses into the city for 2 euros - better still with the Vincenza card. Avoid taxis.
no internet connection in the room (no wireless signal :(
Nothing 1. The room was very noisy due to the proximity to a very busy 24 hours road - despite asking for a quiet room. 2. The hotel appears to be near the city center - it is far and acess by public bus service that stops the service early evening. 3. The staff is not helpful. 4. The internet payment scheme is far too expensive. 4. Breakfast room very noisy and messy. 5. No coffee facility in the rooms. In summary its the worst hotel I stayed for a very long time.
Staff was very nice, room were big and up to standard. Breakfast covered all the necessary. Internet is 10 euro/hour and the PC is slow and outdated. I opted for this hotel instead of one in the centre as it also promoted a good restaurant and I got to Vicenza at dinner time so did not have need to go sightseeing after dinner.
