Pros: Idyllic location, lovely host and welcome, impeccable property beautifully restored and furnished. All the finishing touches were perfect, and the breakfast hamper in the mornings with homemade products was a really special start to the days in one of the loveliest areas of France.
Pros: The peaceful location, the attention to detail in the spacious suite that we rented, the delicious breakfast and assiette gourmande that Christelle prepared for us. Christelle was a charming and generous hostess.
Pros: It was one of the most beautiful locations I have ever stayed. With amazing views in a relaxing surrounding. The breakfast exceeted all expactations. The building we were in was just redacorated and had everything you could think of. With an amazing bad and kitchen that had everything you need. Even the shower was made for two people.
Cons: Everything was perfect. If I have to mention something to be improved it might be the pool area. The pool is really big but around the pool there are not a lot of beds or places in the shade. The pool itself stays real cold all day.
Pros: The breakfast served in our room was very good. Lots of fresh bread, eggs, yogurt, muesli, fresh orange juice and lots of fruit. It could not have been better. The owner also served us a very good dinner in our room, very good soup and a big gourmet plate. The owner was very accommodating and made our stay delightful.
Pros: Very charming
Cons: no so easy to find,
Pros: A lovely place to stay in a quiet and beautiful village. We loved the suite and the decor / layout of the space was great. Lots to see and do in the surrounding areas. Would stay here again for sure.
Pros: The location was beautiful, a tiny village but very well preserved and lovely. Our Hostess was wonderful with great breakfast.
Pros: The room was spacious and really nice, a bonus the kitchen and the possibility to have dinner in the garden after swimming pool and sauna
Pros: What an amazing place to stay, a real couples retreat! Lovely surroundings, lovely people + a great breakfast (loved the basket in front of the door). One of the best stays we have ever had! Thanks to the hosts for the hospitality!
Pros: Breakfast was a delight, served in a basket to your room by the most congeal host

Pros: We loved our room and the warm welcome. Starting our day under a tree drinking coffee and eating homemade brioche! Merci beaucoup Stephanie and family.
Pros: Our family spent 2 nights in Domaine Les Feuillants and enjoyed it very much. It is a pretty and peaceful place, in the beautiful surroundings of the Loire Valley and close to many tourist attractions. Our apartment was lovely - very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The children had great fun in the swimming pool and the hot tub! Thierry (and his two cute little dogs) is a very kind, generous and helpful host. Highly recommend.
Pros: Very comfortable, friendly. Great pool. Lovely room.
Pros: A great place, loved it. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. We totally forgot about dinner because we were enjoying the jacuzzi. The owner offered us salad, bread, meat and cheese. Very kind! The room was beautiful as well. The area as very quiet and peaceful. If i’m ever in the neighbourhood, I will book this hotel again!
Pros: We have had the most extraordinary stay at Domaine les Feuillants. Our host was amazing and kind to us. Definitely one of our best stays in Loire Valley. We felt warmly welcomed and we strongly recommend to anyone seeking a ooze of comfort and tranquillity.
Pros: The host Thierry was really friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the pool was clean. I highly recommend the property
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: We received a very good welcome after a long and hot journey. It was an extremely hot day and we really appreciated the fan which kept our beautiful bedroom room cool, and also the swimming pool which is in the lovely and peaceful garden. It was useful to have kitchen facilities and we cooked our own meal and enjoyed meeting other guests in the communal dining area. We only stayed for one night but wished we had booked for longer. It was very convenient to have a good breakfast included and it was lovely to have it sitting under shade in the garden.
Cons: Although there are plenty of areas with shade in the garden and grounds, it would have been nice to have a parasol next to the chairs on the small patio just outside our room.

Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: This does not relate directly
Pros: Very hospitable proprietors. Undercover, secure parking for my motorbike.
Cons: Breakfast was rather limited and was not really available until late (9.15am). It is clear the proprietors have a very set routine!
Pros: Our hosts were lovely people and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was very omfortable
Cons: no negative comments
Pros: Lovely and quirky family room , lovely courtyard garden and great homemade breakfast
Cons: My children would say a croissant and parking is on the street where you can find it
Pros: Very welcoming and comfortable room. Spacious with lovely view. Very quiet spot ideally located close to Calais. Had a lovely evening meal with our hosts and other guests which was delicious. Breakfast was also delicious.
Cons: Very quiet spot so if not eating at the location you would need to drive elsewhere.

Pros: I loved everything! The best part was the man who owns the property was so kind, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was fresh and good, the rooms were charming. My mother said it was like a fairy tale! I would definitely stay here again.
Pros: The room was more than spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. The facilities met our needs. We parked the car in the garage and there was plenty of space to sit out on the lawn at night. It was a continental breakfast with plenty of food and choice of pan au chocolate, croissant, french bread with homemade jams, coffee and orange juice. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The b&b is located outside the village, surrounded by fields. Its lovelly and quiet with plenty of options for biking or walking right from the door step. The main Loire vally attractions are within a short drive.
Cons: Little choice for dining out as the restaurants were closed.
Pros: great location, beautiful landscape, original and spacious room, very nice owner with lots of precious travel recommendations
Cons: mosquito nets are needed
Pros: This beautiful castle offers a true and authentic Loire Valley experience when it comes to accommodation. It is classically furnished with top notch materials and everything spells class. Had a wonderful stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: No WiFi inside the room but it’s available in public area. Not a problem at all.
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel. Our room was big and also cozy and very comfortable for a family of 4 persons. Château is located in big park which ensures calm. It gives also a possibility to walk in a nice surrounding. The breakfast was tasty and served in a wonderful dining room. The personnel is very friendly and helpful.
Located in Crissay-sur-Manse, Auberge de Crissay is in the historical district, within a 15-minute drive of Musée de l'Osier et de la Vannerie and Domaine Bernard Baudry. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful nature area. Quiet location with spectacular view on hills from the room. Outdoor French breakfast is just lovely. Bathroom was quite spacious with very comfortable and big shower.
Cons: The garden/swimmingpool area could be improved and it has much more potential when kept nicer with grass area, plants/flowers, upgrade of lounge chairs etc. In the evening it was very dark to sit outside, the light sensors went off already after few seconds, so unless one would constantly move, you sit in the dark.
Pros: We loved the Auberge for an overnight stop with our young family. The staff were very friendly. Fortunately my husband speaks a little French as the staff spoke no English (which was lovely!) so I’d recommend you take a few phrases if you speak none! The dinner was delicious, as was breakfast. Room was perfect for young children and they kindly provided a travel cot for our baby. Basic but clean and comfy. Picturesque location.
Pros: The atmosphere was lovely. Very nicely decorated and arty restaurant and lobby. The food in the restaurant was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: The pool area was not in great condition. But the pool was nice and clean.
Pros: Beautiful rural location in the Loire valley. Excellent facilities including a beautiful pool beneath the ruined Château. Very welcome to cool off in the summer heat. Good local food, served outdoors under the shade of the walnut trees with a view over the fields and very friendly helpful staff.
Pros: Very friendly staff - although the heat (temperature reaching up to 35 degrees) they were at there very best running around in the sun. Table outside for breakfast was set as soon we arrived and breathtaking view from french countryside when having dinner / breakfast.
Pros: Great location - very friendly team and food was superb.
Cons: Near a road so can be noisy during the day. The garden needs some TLC.
Pros: Nice garden restaurant and a nice pool after a hot day. Relaxing atmosphere in a beautiful region. Very central location for visiting the Loire region.
Cons: Nothing to report.
Pros: Lovely place! Great service!
Pros: It's a gem of a place. Rural but stunning views over the countryside and the rooms are really nicely done and very clean.
Cons: Limited menu for dinner but that said, the food we had was very good. Also air conditioning would be nice but it's an old building so maybe not possible but we did have a good fan to use so I think they've done what they can bearing in mind the style of property.
Pros: Evening meals and breakfast were great. Clean, tidy bedroom and bathroom. Had a small swimming pool which we didn't have time to use.
Cons: A couple of tractors coming past on the road outside early morning, but it is a very rural location. Not a huge problem.
Spacious room in a recently restored Touraine house, in a charming little village, near the castles of the Loire and the vineyards of Touraine, Futuroscope, Puy du Fou, Zoo Beauval. You can relax in the spa, located in the house (extra charge). A hearty breakfast will be offered with homemade brioches. We will be happy to welcome you to our grain farm.
Located in Panzoult, Domaine de Beauséjour is within a 10-minute drive of Domaine Bernard Baudry and Château de Sonnay. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: The bat (flying creature not cricket bat) which we found flying in our room when we got back from dinner. The old fan which didn’t work. Cobwebs throughout.
Pros: This is a family run bed and breakfast on the working vineyard they started 40 years ago. The rooms are set within the owner's home, however, each room appears to each come with its own private entrance and ours had a patio with a spectacular view over the vineyard. An added convenience was that our car could be parked right next to the entrance of our room meaning we didn't need to unpack everything from our road trip. The continental breakfast's table is set with an array of interesting silverware and beautiful glassware. It was charming. The breakfast area and swimming pool are set on magnificent terraces overlooking the vineyard. We had a miscommunication about whether our 2 children ( 4 and 5 years old) could stay in the same room with us, the owner dealt with it in a very sensible and helpful manner which was hugely appreciated. Guests have access to a constant supply of ice with ice bucket from the fridge freezer which made our stay so much more comfortable as the region is very hot and dry. There are no restaurant facilities for lunch or dinner on the actual property so you do need a car to get to the shops or local restaurant and those restaurants have very specific opening times, because we are inFrance with specific meal times. However because we had access to a fridge we were able to lounge by the pool all day and have a picnic lunch and supper with chilled wine. bliss. There are a lot of flies, moths and tiny lizards about etc as its the great outdoors, surrounded by woods and tractors chopping things in fields but we managed to take it in our stride. The amazing natural beauty, gorgeous house and a surprise visit from a few humming bird moths coupled with the spectacular views from breakfast and the pool made this place an absolute delight for a long weekend stay. I felt at ease letting my children explore the vineyard and property which they loved. The owner recommended great places to visit as well.
Pros: Pool was great, as was the host and the wines
Cons: Bedrooms were a little tired
Pros: The property overall, location and friendliness of the owner were second to none!
Cons: The room was dirty and fairly dated with no proper shower. The breakfast was a little basic with a limited selection and some food that was past it's best. We also felt a little bit 'on our own' at times as the owner was hard to get hold of and we were nearly locked out on arrival.
Pros: The view from the room was fantastic . Good location for Chinon.
Cons: Bathroom dated. Hand held ancient shower head but no shower. Plug hole in sink rusty. Towels old and threadbare. Insect Debris on floor. Cobwebs. No outside light at door if annexe where room situated. Garden path leading to annexe not lit. Luckily we had a torch otherwise it would be hazardous in the dark.
Pros: Location, view & room
Cons: No lunch or dinner options. No savoury/hot food options for breakfast.
Situated in L'Ile-Bouchard in the Centre region, Chambres d'hôtes: La Isla Bonita features accommodation with free WiFi. A continental breakfast is available each morning at the bed and breakfast. A sun terrace is available for guests to use at Chambres d'hôtes: La Isla Bonita. Tours is 50 km from the accommodation, while Saumur is 43 km from the property. The nearest airport is Tours Loire Valley Airport, 53 km from Chambres d'hôtes: La Isla Bonita.
Cons: Town was dead. Hotel looked extremely tired from outside and in public areas.
Cons: No secure parking but the host assured us it is a safe area
Cons: Nice room nice people shame the smell when you dry yourself
Pros: The home is on a square on an island in centre of the village so you have a wonderful morning view. The room was fitted out for disabled use with larger doors and disabled seating which was helpful at the time. Breakfast is basic continental but with homemade jams on offer. Room size was good, the bed was comfy and the wifi was excellent.
Cons: Recommended. Small village so dinner options are limited.
Pros: Owners very kind and friendly.
Cons: Bed (very) unconfortable. No fan or air conditionning to cool the bedroom, so the windows needed to be kept open with all the sounds of the street.
Cons: Nice owner sadly his 2 sons are very arrogant. Problems with check in.
Pros: Friendly welcome
Cons: A little bit dirty
Located in L'Ile-Bouchard, this apartment is within a 10-minute drive of Domaine Charles Joguet and Domaine Bernard Baudry. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The kettle and good shower.
Cons: The appartment has no windows or other ventilation unless you open the door onto the street. The bed was too low and soft. The kitchen was poorly equipped.
With a stay at Hostellerie du Cheval Blanc in Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine, you'll be 23.7 mi (38.1 km) from Parc des Expositions de Tours and 24.3 mi (39.1 km) from Vinci International Convention Centre. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The restaurant was very good.
Cons: The bedroom was dingy. Doors were squeaky. The breakfast was disappointing.
Pros: The hotel is in a good position, close to the centre. The breakfast was fine, although not good value for money.
Cons: The check in was average - on arrival we were told "wait a minute", no welcome or even a smile! We knew this would be a budget hotel, but there is no excuse for things not being clean - see photos of bathroom which was filthy. The bedroom had been redecorated, but the rest of hotel is very run down and shabby. It is situated on a noisy main road
Pros: not much ..food okay.
Cons: Staff ..poor understanding of booking.com and disinterested. Decor badly needs updating.
Pros: Lovely old style and very clean. Staff very quick and helpfull
Cons: Beds uncomfy. Room dingy. Bathroom shabby with lose tiles not pleasant site. Only one small poor fan for a room for 3 and when requested another none available (hottest day of the year!) Menu looked good but we voted with our feet and made do with a very good pizza from restaurant a cross the road. We left hotel at 3am as we had a long journey to make and car was more comfortable than our room.
Cons: You enter in a centuries old building. With old carpets on the floor, take care. Of course no elevator. We had room 110 on the first floor,, a room with a very small high window. The room is basic. No fridge, no airco. It has a ventilator. The bathtub was clean but the wall was dirty. We did not needed Airco because of night temperature of 17 degrees. But if it is a warm night then this room will heath up!
Pros: The realit of the food was better than the expectation
Cons: The hotel is very run down and there was an unpleasant smell in the room - but this did go once the window had been left open for a while.
Pros: Handy to break journey between UK and Malaga.
