Cons: Fantastic Owner are so nice and house is really beautifully. Thank you so much. Etienne and Charlotte.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Wonderful location. Friendly professional and extremely helpful hosts. Felt really welcome and food was great! Beautiful clean and comfy bedrooms and spotless bathroom stocked with everything needed for the stay. Pool in the lovely well-kept gardens. Peaceful and relaxing. Fantastic.
Cons: No complaints. Loved everything about the place!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We found Le Bignon to be well situated for an overnight stay on our way back to the ferry at St Malo but next time we would like to stay longer. Our room was extremely pleasant and comfortable. Peter and Wendy were perfect hosts who were attentive and helpful but not intrusive. Breakfast was excellent. We would recommend a stay at Le Bignon.
Cons: We could not think of any way to improve our stay.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: the welcome from the owners was amazing, the fact that we did have a dog and they made her welcome and she slept in the car.
Cons: May be some more fruit at breakfast time and may be an offer of an egg or something simple. The owners did ask us in the evening but sometimes you don't know until you get up, especially, and as our alarm had gone off at 5.30 am, we were hungrier than normal!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Helpful hosts
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The hosts were lovely as was the welcome and the dinner.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners went out of their way to ensure that our special breakfast needs were catered for. We were welcomed with a much appreciated "cup of tea".

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I’d like to highlight how kind Marie was. we had a flat tire and she was very nice, helping us to get the insurance company to help.
Good 7.0
Pros: setting was great; impressive buildings; really pleasant and helpful staff; great breakfast.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All .
Excellent 9.0
Cons: In the room should be a much better table and chairs, wood made.
Good 7.0
Pros: Very quiet location in the countryside. Huge bedroom and bathroom and the lift made things easier.
Cons: There was no one in reception when I arrived or when I left. My room wasn't ready on arrival despite giving my arrival time in advance. Although I was offered a coffee while I waited. Like many chateaus in France, it needs a lot more care and attention. Its very tired looking.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: the chateau the setting the room the helpful staff
Cons: poor Wi-Fi the chateau is a little hard to find
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely and nice and big. The gardens were lovely to walk around. The staff were very helpful and polite, answering any questions that we had. It is in a very central position to explore the area although you must drive everywhere. Breakfast has everything that you would want.
Cons: The wifi was good but did drop out during the evening. The meal offered was not good and they could let you know if there was anywhere to eat. (I understand that this was due to COVID 19)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Stunning setting, huge rooms and quality breakfast. Large comfortable beds, rooms with tables, chairs and armchairs rooms. The staff are both professional and relaxed, and always very kind and welcoming. The whole place is based on generosity. It’s our 3rd stay. We love it. There are gorgeous walks in the woods, and it’s possible to order an evening meal at a great value 15 euro for 2 courses. The drink menu is very reasonable, and staff always seem willing to make your stay easy and comfortable. The whole ethos is really unusual and creative. It’s a chateau stay with everything you need, but at incredible value room rates. A super atmosphere. Thank you to reception staff.
Cons: One tiny point- sometimes the hot shower is just a little bit below temperature. Always warm but not hot. Great for summer, but in October it can be only just comfortable. But this is a tiny issue. We always love this place

Pros: Lovely and peaceful, very relaxing and comfortable cabin. Breakfast delivered to the hut is a nice touch, but it costs extra and is pretty expensive for what you get. Plenty of space for a family of four - and the kids loved saying hello to the local horses and donkeys.

Pros: We were so happy to find this place and stayed there Ann is sincere and responsive person We enjoyed the park that is around the Chateau The room was very cozy The breakfast was as well as we can imagine This is a case when we definitely would be happy to come back sometime
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The chateau is absolutely beautiful and the owners, Anne and Elie, were extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything is authentic and staying here gives you a real idea of grand chateau life. Our room was huge and comfortable and decorated like a royal retreat. The gardens are available to walk and the entire atmosphere is one of calm and peacefulness.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Madam, the owner, was most welcoming; and generous. We had tea on arrival and were looked after beautifully. Dinner was delicious and served outside by two young members of staff. Breakfast was plentiful. Lots of hot water and a big old fashioned bathtub. Altogether, a memorable and most relaxing stay in an historic house full of interest set in glorious grounds.
Cons: It was all perfect.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Beautiful and peaceful character stay in a unique building. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and gave us a nice breakfast.
Cons: A few basic things missing in the room such as hand towels and water glasses. The bath towels however are fabulous! As there is nowhere in the village to buy anything at all it would be nice to have coffee/tea making facilities/water etc available
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The scenery. The silence at night. Freshness of the building in a super-hot summer day. Quality of the products for breakfast (bread, butter, and home made jam and juice). The weather being good, we had breakfast in the garden. Kindness of the staff. The church next to the building is worth a peek. If you are on holidays, visit the nearby city of La FLeche.
Cons: A kettle in the room, with two mugs, would have been appreciated.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very nice and clean place. Felt really welcome. Would definitively stay again if needed to go back in the area. Was also given plenty of information of where to eat, etc..
Cons: The only downside for that I needed to share the toilet and bathroom with another guest. Fine if you are only staying for a night or 2. No shower curtains in the bathroom meaning the floor got really wet.
Good 7.9
Pros: A character property with countryside views. Great hosts. Very comfortable bed good breakfast
Cons: We had to drive 12 miles to find a restaurant as B&B quite remote
Excellent 9.6
Pros: This was a priory, used by monks, and the renovation here has kept true to that: everything is simple, the modernisation has been carefully and quietly done: it doesn't intrude. Because of that, I found myself gaining an insight into a lot of art that I've seen, the room made a deep impression. The hostess was extraordinarily helpful, given my blunders. The separate bathroom was again simple, clean and fitted in with the charm of the place. The local village is very small: but if one restaurant is shut, the other is open.
Cons: Better information on the website about arrival times, and parking. We parked in the village square, not at the property.
Good 7.9
Pros: A very good breakfast and a nice family
Cons: All restaurants were closed on sunday; only the creperie was open
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Lovely property, good location, owner very helpful
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely location. Lovely family. Lovely breakfast. Some top tips. If arriving on a Sunday remember many villages are closed down. Lovely village down the road called Durtal or Le Freche.
Cons: Tranquil and relaxing.
