Everything was perfect
First of all, this hotel is on a narrow and busy main road, and so is very noisy. We had requested a high room, but on arrival we were given a dark room on the first floor, directly above the reception, and at about the height of the roofs of the buses which pass regularly. However the very pleasant receptionist (the guy with a beard, sorry don't remember his name), changed us to a beautiful suite on the top floor. It was still noisy from the traffic, but a very nice room. The hotel is very clean, and the cafe / bar has wonderful views of the parador and great coffee. All the staff were very professional and a pleasure to deal with.
The noise from the traffic on the street. We were here in a quiet time in December, so I can't imagine what it would be like in busier and warmer times. And take care when stepping out of the hotel. As we were stepping onto the pavement, a bus roared up the hill, using about 10 centimetres of the pavement, so probably less than a metre from the doorstep of the hotel. Highly dangerous.
Such a wonderful space to feel comfortable in!
Wow just about the best location you could have. The public car park was 100 meters down the road and cost only 18€ for 20 hours. In the basement of the Hotel is the Raf restaurant fantastic food.
The room was large and warm. Spoiled by cobwebs in the vaulted ceiling.
