10.0 Excellent
Pros: My favorite place to stay in Spain. A relatively new place, where they put carful thought in all the details. Value for money is high and location excellent
Cons: Nothing not to like.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: everything is perfect. would be a bonus if reception close little bit later.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The showers were really good. And the bed was really comfy. The hostel also provides lockers with there own keys which are quite convenient. They served breakfast in the morning which was also nice. During my stay at the hostel, there were only a few people there so it wasn't as crowdy.
Cons: The hostel was great. The only problem was the locker or compartment I got. Mine wasn't working great and it kept locking up. I had to ask help from the people in the room and the staff to open it because it kept locking. Hopefully, they've fixed it because it was quite an inconvenience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant Hostel. Funky, comfortable and fantastic value for money. Simple breakfast included. Our dog was welcomed
Cons: If there was a single downside it was the thin wall between rooms as we had a baby in the next room who we could hear crying very clearly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! The hostel was well located, the rooms and common areas were clean, and the stuff was friendly. A simple but filling breakfast was included too. 10/10.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved to stay in this very nice hostel in Cuenca. The location was amazing, staff was very friendly, it was perfectly clean and there were a lot of facilities. The bed and pillow were very comfortable as well! I had an amazing view from my room and I really loved it. There is a lot of beautiful nature close and the old town is very charming. The breakfast was kinda basic, but it was free so that was perfect as well. Also, the coffee was VERY good! I'd love to return someday! I was supposed to stay for two nights but I booked one extra because I loved the town and the hostel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location to the old town. The staff was very kind and helpful. Very clean. Good kitchen facilities.
Cons: There is no air conditioning in the rooms but there is a ceiling fan. The kitchen is on the first floor - no kitchenette in the rooms. The street is noisy late at night and early in the morning - ear plugs were helpful!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. The location is great between the old and new parts of town. Staff very friendly. Good showers. Nice common area and communal kitchen. Cuenca is worth visiting during weekdays as it's busy at weekends. I stayed on a Sunday night and had a 6 bed dorm to myself. I would stay here again.
Cons: My only complaint is that it is impossible to sit upright in the lower bunks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: recommended !!!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Eva and Alba were fantastic hosts and even though it was a B&B we had had access to the kitchen to cook our meals. We were made to feel at home instantly! Having an individualized air condition in the room was great, so we could control our own temperature. Really nice to have access to a washing machine as well. A Beautiful sun room where you could relax, eat, watch TV with a Beautiful view of this Medieval town. Houses perched right on top of cliffs!. Also, the location was absolutely perfect since it is located very close to the old town where the Basilica and the hanging houses are, taking us about 10 mins. Again about 10 mins walk to the bridge and to the shopping and restaurent area. We had wonderful, very inexpensive lunch at the Taj Mahal, with great service! Also great cafes and Wonderful pastry shops. We were very fortunate to have been there during their Semena Santa. Holy week during Easter with Fantastic processions. One of Floats, the last Supper had between 60 to 70 people caring it. Lots of costumes and music that was so enthralling and would go on for hours. The dedication of these people in Cuenca was phenomenal! Thank you so much again Eva and Alba for being such wonderful hosts and treating us as though we were your family.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The family was very gracious. We enjoyed talking with them.
10.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Tranquil area, but close to the centre.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like mom and daughter. They are very helpful. I like their breakfast. The bed is comfortable and everywhere in the room and washroom are very clean.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location just outside centre of town but only a short walk making it ideal for parking car. Really friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Very pleasant apartment.
Cons: Everything great.

Pros: Great welcome, great location good price
8.0 Excellent
Pros: -Modern room -Modern bathroom -Airco
Cons: -The noise from the other rooms/bathrooms -The noise from the refrigerator in the hallway -No warm water now and then -No information was given about the " max 30 minutes in the old citycenter with the car rule" resulting in a fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located, quiet street. Restaurants around are fantastic and just a quick walk away from the old town. The room was very clean and has a lovely natural light. The host was very accomodating, he has great recommendations about the city and local spots to eat and hangout. I would deffinitely recommend the stay at Casa Botes and would love to come back soon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was within walking distance of everything. Very clean & modern & comfortable.
Cons: There's a vending machine & hot drinks machine with plastic cups. Bread & jam was also supplied in plastic bag. I'm really against single use plastic & there is much publicity about this currently. It would be great if there was a water dispenser perhaps, that has hot & cold & reusable cups instead of plastic? Bread in Tupperware?

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was the best!
Cons: It is challenging to reach the location by car, you have to walk to get there. They did not explain well this part, about how to arrive. And a double bed is just two single beds pushed together that easily slide apart while sleeping.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful and welcoming at check-in. Lots of room in the suite, very comfortable and clean plus a great view. The breakfast was varied and fresh. The location was perfect; we were able to walk around the Casco Antiguo and stop back in for a break whenever needed. Very happy and satisfied with our stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Love the old convent feel, the old rooms down stairs. And the rest room was a brilliant idea, only if you watch what is on the TV someone else put on. Rooms where modern and clean great shower. But no TV in room. And the fact you where only minutes from the main plaza and restaurants. Great.
Cons: Pity no bar as such, I know it's a religious building. Great experience in an old building.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel so close to plaza mayor in the old part of town. Beautiful renovation keeping some original character.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple, but modern design and bathroom. Good breakfast. Excellent location. Great value.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location!!! And I was told the best route to the best places.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was extremely helpful and the location - at the foot of the hill where the cathedral is found - was perfect for a drink in the local barrio (neighbourhood), which wasn’t touristy on my visit. Good walks are to be had in the hills behind the hostal.
Cons: It could do with a bar/cafe.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: No minibar in the room
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful quiet place to stay, with an amazing and huge comfortable bed! Great shower and nice location. Very secluded. The breakfast in the morning was incredible, great service and a perfect way to start the day.
Cons: No reception on arrival so had no way to get information besides using WhatsApp. Needed more information during the arrival period. Could not use pool as not heated!
6.3 Good
Pros: The breakfast was outstanding. But we were very confused why we had no access to a pool and why I had to pay extra for my daughter. I’m not sure if it’s the mixed up between languages (Spanish to English) on their website, or if it was booking.com (who was TERRIBLE to deal with, when trying to fix these issues), but it was not a fun experience.
Cons: No pool. Having to pay extra for my daughter.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location and quiet surrounding. Breakfast excellent.
Cons: More care shoukd be taken to cleaning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast!
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place with terrace and private pool and delicious breakfast in the room, both air conditioning and heating were available which was very important in that period and place (very hot and cold in the same day). Kind and helpful service.
Cons: Only that the breakfast was a bit late (not until 9.00), so if you wanted to have it (which was worth it, specially outside by the pool) you had to arrange for your day to start late.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best place , romantic. we wanted to stay at the room all day. ❤️❤️❤️ Its like a hunnymoon

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Hard beds
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very large rooms, superior room had a great view,
Cons: Could have been cleaner and staff forgot to put in towels. Superior room had a nespresso machine but standard room didnt even have a kettle.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The atmosphere of the medieval, at least a touch of it, is the biggest advantage of Paradores of Spain. Original architecture of buildings on the edge of rocks is gorgeous. Replicas of medieval furniture, chests, and decorations create a genuine feeling of traveling back in time.
Cons: Air conditioner was a nightmare literally and metaphorically. It’s noisy, turning itself now and then unpredictablely. At day time it was not a problem. But at night, when you’re almost at the kingdom of Morfeus, the roaring and blowing at your direction monster is definitely not the best neighbor. However, its function was maintained perfectly, the temperature in the room was pleantly cool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful accommodations. Lovey room, bed, sheets, POOL. Incredible breakfast buffet
Cons: Diningroom food was awful. Lovely setting but bad food. Rabbit pate looked and tasted like warm cat food with bones.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location in Cuenca is amazing. The property is beautiful, and the view of the town was spectacular. The narrow bridge to town was intimidating, but our kids loved taking it each day. If we ever happened to be in this part of Spain again, we would definitely plan to stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All excellent
Cons: Complementary bottles water would be nice in the room. This is a small matter.A
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Fantastic recommendation from a fried. Fantastic room in great location with great views. Would highly recommend.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was nice and helpful. The location was excellent.
Cons: It was difficult without air conditioning in late July. The wind was blowing from the wrong direction when trying to sleep.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, great location in the Old Town. Not for the disabled or anyone with walking difficulties.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice people Cozy room.
Cons: No lift
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Situated in the old town. Our (superior) room was very nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Free public parking nearby (5 min on foot).
Cons: The window of our room was to the side of the street. Few traffic during the night but you could hear it (but it did not really bother). For a next time I would reflect to take a room with view, these rooms go to the backside.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hostess - break fast excellent
Cons: If you don't like stairs there could be a problem. No lift and lots of stairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beatiful accomodation. Lovely view from the room and the terrass. The location was very good near Placa Mayor ,the cathedral and restaurants. Clean and well furnished.
Cons: -
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with a beautiful view.
Cons: We had breakfast at the hostel the first morning. After that we decided to go to a cafe in the neighbourhood. That did not bother us as breakfast is not included in the price.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and kind.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Lovely traditional Spanish ambiance and hospitality. Spotless housekeeping and - behind a dull street facade - charming interiors. Comfy bed and nicely appointed bathroom. Location is fantastic: right on the main street with parking 50m further on on the LHS. - Best idea is to park the car and then walk back to the hotel. - The car park has a lift / elevator so you can pull your stuff along.
Cons: I could have been shorter - or the door to my bedroom could have been taller... Ouch! ( I was warned, but forgot!)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice, stylish room with beautiful view to the canyon. Room was very big, even to big for two people. We had separate room with TV entertainment. In the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunset in quite room. Breakfast for this price (5€) was OK, but nothing special. Ham, cheese, tomatoes. No scrambled eggs or bacon. You can park for free outside the city, but it's only 5-7min walk.
Cons: Nothing to complain.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hostel was great. It was a nice, clean, large and comfortable room with a great location. There is a large parking close and the rest of the center is also very close.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The view out the window was unbelievable. Two pillows for each bed was a plus too.
Cons: The shower for a 6 foot person is way to small.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room No 101. Quirky shaped room, comfortable clean beds, great view across the gorge although at a limited angle. Spacious new bathroom. The bed area is a little cramped but there is also another space including a writing desk. A pay car park very near 5.90 euro or we walked 400 Metre for plenty of free parking just outside the town walls.
Alojamiento Entrehoces - Cuenca - Bedroom

8.7 Excellent (584 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Alojamiento Entrehoces in Cuenca (Old Town), you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Cuenca Cathedral and Túneles de Alfonso VIII. Featured amenities include microwave in a common area and refrigerator in a common area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Drinks and snacks available all day.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Helpful staff. Breakfast atvyour own pace
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central, in the historic city of Cuenca.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was not bad in that you were near enough to walk either uphill to the old town or downhill to the modern town. The bed was comfortable. Nice touch to have water in the room. Very clean.
Cons: Reception was not staffed sufficiently. We phoned to say we were there and they came to meet. They explained there was no parking nearby. Showed on a map where we could park for free but did not say it was unlikely to be available, which indeed it was not. Did not mention the 24hr car park which we eventually used. The room was bijou with an extremely small bathroom. Breakfast a disaster. No staff to explain how coffee machine worked. Used our own kettle to make cup of tea as only a microwave available to heat water. Insufficient sliced bread for toast. Insufficient healthy options like cereals ( none). The staff that did appear towards the end of breakfast and who we paid, did not ask if everything was OK at either breakfast or when paying.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved this property. It was typically old Spanish on the outside but very modern inside. The location is good for the wonderful sights of Cuenca. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Not a coffee machine we are familiar with and no info but a Spanish couple managed to work it out.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Difficult to find, and the lady on the desk had absolutely no idea how to deal with a debit card, so we just paid cash. Other than that great, close to cathedral etc., handy car parking a walk away. No problems.
Cons: Finding the place and managing to pay for it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very quirky with lovely lamps and cushions on the bed and shutters on the windows
Cons: We were given 3 keys, one for our room, one for the outer door to enter the accommodation and one for the main building door. This is because the people who run it aren't there other than a breakfast time and when people check in and out. We came back around 11 pm on the first night and the key for the main door did not work. The phone number on the plaque on the building was not available on phoning it and it was only by shouting loudly to someone above who was still up who heard us that we managed to get in and not sleep on the streets. He was an old gentleman privately renting the flat above and has the same access main door. It transpired our key didn't work from the outside.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. This more than made up for some communication difficulties. Cuenca is delightful and offers a bit of everything: history, Architecture, good food, trekking opportunities and very friendly people.
Cons: When we arrived the 'temporary' reception was not so easy to contact. The problem was resolved after some minutes.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Value for money, all day breakfast included
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was yummy with a lot of choices!
Cons: You could hear everything from your room: the tv from the next room, other guest conversations, the coffee machine or the guest at the reception. It is not isolated soundwise.

Cons: Not very close to restaurants in the new town. Other option is to eat while you are up in the old town.

Pros: Location cleanliness helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
6.8 Good
Pros: the location is superb, walking distance from both the new city centre as well as the old town with the major sights. the rooms are tastefully decorated and pleasant to use.
Cons: the wifi didn't work, and when i told the staff, they maintained that it did work, even though i showed them it didn't on two devices i carried. it was mostly the attitude of not taking me serious that was unpleasant. only after two days was the problem solved.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room in old building. Room 210 have spacey bathroom. Air conditioner in good place do not blow directly to the bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here just for one night: arrived in Cuenca about 1pm and left next morning. Of course if you are looking for a relaxed stay in luxury this is not your option. But as a base to explore Cuenca - what can be better? The hostel is located in a nice quiet street near the river, with great views. Just 5-10 minutes -and you are at the center of the historical town. If you are lucky to find a parking place, you can park the car for free just on the opposite side of the street. If not - quite near the hostel there is an official car parking and for hostel guests the price is 10 euros per day ( however if you want to park the car, then go somewhere in the evening, and come back, you’ll have to pay for each parking time separately). To get the price of 10 euros you have to ask someone from the hostel to go with you to the parking when you are leaving. When we arrived, Yolanda showed us the best routes on Cuenca map and recommended where to have dinner. However please note that dinner in Cuenca starts about 8:30 - 9 pm. Before this time the recommended restaurants were closed. The hostel is located in an old building and the furniture in the room is wooden and quite basic, but the bathroom is quite modern and equipped with all you need. The bed is also very comfortable. In the morning they serve free coffee with croissants and some other pastry, which is also very convenient. Please be advised that English is spoken but very little, so it would be better if you know some Spanish or have a Google translator in your phone. Have a nice trip to Cuenca and stay in Hostal Posada Huécar!

6.3 Good
Pros: Clean; good bathroom.
Cons: Room was way too small for a double. Looked like an individual room with two beds touching each other. Human presence at reception was sporadic. Pillows were cheap, hard foam. Mattress just so so .
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, great bathroom, location full of services but out of the city
Cons: The walls are thin and every noise from the hostel could be heard inside the room. Thankfully, the zone is quiet

Pros: we liked the very central location in Cuenca, and the building itself is very charming! especially if you get a room with a view on the back side, like we had! I definitely recommend this place!
Cons: it's an old building, it could have some cuter furniture to give it a better vibe. The bathrooms, in the shower, there were many small flies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cozy room in historic old building, large building overall with big restaurant, good old town location, and friendly helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here last year and requested the same room (32) but were upgraded to room 33. The room was beautifully furnished, the huge bed was very comfortable, there was tea and coffee making facilities and a bathroom with the biggest bath I’ve ever seen and an amazing assortment of toiletries. One of the best things about the room was that it had two terraces, both with amazing views and in the 38 degree heat we were able to get a lovely cool breeze through the room. The hotel is in a great location just a few steps from the main historic centre and staff were all very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as it was closed Sunday evening, although we did have a lovely breakfast next morning, there was a really good selection of cereals, meats, cheese, fruit, pastries and cake. Super place highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location is superb, right in the center of the old city. But most unique is the historic nature of the posada. It is a centuries old housing for the church choir which has been lovingly preserved. Every feature is authentic and makes it a one of a kind accommodation. We preferred a room with bathroom and although the bathroom is small and the ventilator noisy, it was clean and everything worked. The friendly staff helped me with a little last minute room changing without extra cost and bother. The ambience and central location makes the Posada a place I will always remember.
Cons: Aside from the rattling ventilator, I have no complaints.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Beautiful views.
Cons: Staff would refuse to give us a double bed.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: We did not like breakfast.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The views from the room were spectacular, the room was clean and provided all necessary amenities in the bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff and food was good.
Cons: There could have been an A/C as it does get very warm. We needed a bug stopper on the windows so that they could be left open. More comfortable bedding would have been nicer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most I like was the room with terrace. Amazing views. The location is also really good, close to the cathedral, in the middle of the center of Cuenca.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed how you felt you travelled back in time staying there. The hotel was tucked away so peacefully, and close to everything. Restaurant has a gorgeous view of the gorge, do don't miss their lovely continental breakfast. If you choose to have dinner at their restaurant, I suggest booking a couple days ahead to grab a good table view! Wonderful place!

Pros: Price ok. Car parking nearby, but very expensive, even with the hotel discount. See below for a possible solution.
Cons: Our room overlooked the only through road in the town. Busy from 6am every day and very noisy. No view, obviously. As many restaurants were still closed, we ate at the hotel. Dining room one night, outside terrace the next. Dining room had no atmosphere at all. Needs revamping with some character added.
