location, cleanliness, accommodating, friendly staff Paid for parking each day
Restaurant, and Bar are great and the hotel is within walking distance of all sorts of activities.
The location of the hotel too the water front was great. the Valets were quick and professional. The young man in the "gift store" was quick and friendly The room itself was mediocre, not what I had expected or had hoped for from the Omni. The front desk ladies were indifferent to their customers.
Great location. Good service. Omni is supposed to be the best hotel in town, the only luxury hotel. Perhaps in the past- hotel needs an update and come into the 21et century. Carpet in the elevators are dirty and stained. Corridors have a stale smell. Business center has one computer and printer but one has to pay to use them. No free wifi? Pay for everything on top of a pricey room rate- and still feel like being in a second class hotel??
No free parking lot. And the room was not what I expected for the money and being on a vip access floor it was quite small. The "private balcony" was too small to even enjoy the view from
Location 1. Charges for parking each day. 2. Charges to connect to Wi-Fi each day. 3. Guide on TV only tells you the channel and not what is on at that time.
Our room was not cleaned. Beds made, but nothing else when we got back to room at 10:00pm
Room was comfortable and view was great! Husband worked and I enjoyed hotel. Did not receive turn down service that was in info. Overall very good for the price paid! Ate at The Republic of Texas. Service was BAD! Wasted time and money. Nice View but not offered to see other that our little table by a pole.
Staff is very kind.Location of hotel is awesome. Will definitely be coming back. They could have a better cable selection. They only have a few channels.& the cable would go in & out on some of the channels. But other then that.Fantastic!!!
Staff was awesome. Room was really nice with a great view. The fact that they charged you for every little thing. From a bottle of water in your room to a tiny bottle of spray starch. Was kind of ridiculous, especially for how much I was paying for the room.
good hotel good accomodations nice location clean rooms Everything was great except a front desk asociate gave us a different room of the one that we reserved when we notified them about the mistake he started giving us a lecture of how they work with third party companies even when he knew he had a room available for us that was very rude from his part
Room and view was amazing Staff was very friendly No free wifi No microwave in room
The view was beautiful the rooms were nice so close to the beach!! The staff was super rude. Pool is way too much chlorine. Parking is awful
Liked it was next to the beach Carpets dirty none of the oilers worked
beds were comfortable and rooms were clean, staff was friendly and helpful
Hotel is located well for getting to various vacation/tourist spots Room was warm no matter how low we turn the air conditioning, so sleeping was not very comfortable
The hotel was right on the beach. The hotel was old and out dated. The concept was nice, but the pool are would have been a lot better had it been a little bigger. Also the arcade games the had were old.
on the beach outdated facility, unfriendly staff, and overpriced... the location was not worth the overall quality of the hotel.
I liked the fact that the rooms were clean, the pool was very nice and the beach was just out the back door and down a couple steps. The room service was reasonable as well. Very good to stay there and would not mind going back again.
The staff was friendly and the pool beach area was nice.
The indoor pool and all that there was to do. The fact that I asked for a room on the 1st floor they told me wouldn't be available till actual check in time so I waited and when I went back all of a sudden they didn't have 1 for me had to get one on 2nd floor even though originally they were trying to talk me out of the early check in b/c there was no elevator.
The staff seemed friendly and were quick to move our rooms when we found ours was dirty. Room was dirty, the whole hotel was too dark.
The best part was the hotel being directly on the beach. The patio on the beach was great. The room was good sized and clean. Dogs are allowed. Someone at the front desk led me to believe it would've been possible to check in anytime after 10 am which turns out wasn't true. We came to town early and had no where to go for almost 5 hours with 2 dogs.
Views of the water were great. The walls were paper thin and I could hear every door slam from rooms near me from 10pm-12am! A crying child from the room next door woke me up at 1:45am. Bring ear plugs and a white noise machine!
The hotel was ok and the access to the area attraction were nice and easy to walk to. The breakfast was nothing to talk about but it was a level above a continental breakfast. The hotel was ok, but not for the money spent. I have stayed at hotels of this caliber for half the cost. I guess you can expect this cost for the location.
Close to locations which we wanted to visit One half of the rooms have a good view of the bayfront while the back sides does not. We got the back side and feel that it was assigned even though we had reservations longer than other guests. The hotel personnel referenced to you as "They". Another couple checking in, after us, received a good side.
The staff at the front desk, the breakfast buffet, and housekeeping were all phenomenal! The ladies at the breakfast buffet were constantly checking the items to make sure there was enough to go around! The housekeeping ladies were always smiling and asking how our day was going. It was just very friendly and welcoming. I wished we were able to stay longer!! The location. It was boring with very little to do. I have never been to Corpus Christi so I was unaware how far we would be from the beach. However, because of the rest of the amenities and the staff, I would choose this hotel again and again. Plus the pool was really nice and available despite a lot of guests staying in the hotel the same time as us!
The hotel was in a perfect location for walking to restaraunts and nightlife. Great view from room. Breakfast was ok but the dining view was nice. It was nice looking at the ocean while having breakfast.
Excellent continental breakfast in a full size dining room.
The room was clean and in good repair. The location and view was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.
my stay was great clean rooms great view when someone flushed the toilet you could hear it it was very loud
Location Not enough convienient parking, plumbing too loud, parking lot view.
The place was clean. The check in process was lengthy! The breakfast staff were cold and rude. When asked questions they responded sarcastically. The entire stay was just bland and uninteresting. Will not be staying here again.
The view from the dinning room.
Everything was good! Check out front desk could have been kind
The view from the room was excellent; able to look out across the bay, and soak in the awesome display of the natural and man-made scenery. The access to the bay was very convenient! Nice!! The servers/cooks (??) present during the breakfast hour need to be just a little more professional. Breakfast goes until 9:30 am - my daughter and I arrived around 9:00 am. There was this 'nagging countdown' that seemed to start about 25 minutes away from cut off; "25 minutes to go...15, 10, just 5 more minutes...breaking down tables right in the middle of guests"! I can understand them being a little tired or ready to end, but that was absolutely nerve wrecking, and provoked an unrelaxing atmosphere. Very tacky!!!!
Location is about the only thing 1st, room was not ready. Check in was 3pm when I called, when I arrived, she said that was their courtesy check in. Regular check in was at 5pm and check out at 12pm. That's less then a 24 hours stay. Room was ready at 4pm. Then you have to pay for parking.. . Pool was too small for the size of the hotel. Worst thing about it all was the A/C, it was super hot in our room, we could not sleep. Luckily we had reserved a Family Suite, so the other rooms A/C provided some sort of comfort. Breakfast was terrible, less then continental. Went to coffee shop to purchase breakfast and they were out of breakfast as well. All they had were pastries. Needless to say, we will not return. It has great potential but it was a terrible experience.
Location was good Older hotel and I had a few crickets stay with me.
Initially, the insides looked fine, a bit run down but interesting and the staff were nice. The room had town full sized, not queen beds. The light in the bathroom wouldn't go on so I could apply makeup, I was there for business. There was NO other mirror. The only other item of furniture in the room was an extremely narrow chest of drawers barely large enough to hold the TV. The tub had the handle pulled out of it sometime in the past and instead of replacing this tub/shower insert, they'd just bondoed the bits back together. The toilet was so low as to be the right size for a preschool. I've stayed at much better Econolodges and Motel 6s, so to have to spend $293 for this room was a complete insult. I will never recommend or stay at this hotel again, unless it was the only room for 62 miles, which was why I had to stay there that night.
Location There were cockroaches in bathroom, when notified, the room was changed, the second room was free of cockroaches however there was no coffee machine and bathroom door was loose and falling, when asked to fix, it was promised but not provided or fixed. The owner or city inspector noses are immune as they cant feel the smell coming off the old carpets allover the hotel, even in elevator.
Very friendly staff Cheap sundries, lack luster breakfast for how much the room cost. Lobby is dated but rooms are ok
All the rooms face inward towards the lobby so looking down from the tenth floor was cool Staff was distracted and joking with each other while checking me in. Parking was an extra $6.50. I forgot to bring toiletries and they were only able to give me a small packet of toothpaste; no razors, no shaving cream, no toothbrush, no deodorant. Continental breakfast tasted like cardboard.
Área near gulf of mexico Cover blanket has hairs in It. Small roaches in bath room Ceiling texture found on some furniture Picture of hotel looks nice but very different when you are there (as I mention, lots of minor repairs neede) Elevator had a very strong smell of wet rags that had been there for days. Free breakfast was mention but All they had was 5 beggels, juice and coffe.
Close to the Bay, cheap price on Kayak. Bar inside hotel. 24 hour coffee shop with nice staff. Great view of the bay. The keycard reader was broken and I was locked out of my room for 30 minutes. They put us on the 10th floor, which isn't renovated and is very run down. The towels were dirty. The front desk was rude. Lobby smells like grease. You have to pay for parking and the garage is super run down and creepy. They moved me to the 9th floor, which was better, but still had issues. The curtains do a poor job of blocking the outside light.
The website we booked it on didn't have all the policies for this location, We drove 3 hours just to find out we couldn't stay because we had to be 21 to check in, we were out $65 for the non refundable room and had no where to stay.
The only thing that I liked was the close proximity to the water and the fact that it was in Corpus. I hated the roaches, they were everywhere. We had to shake out our luggage they were so bad. It's a serious infestation.
Nothing. Well, the a/c worked well. When I walked into the room. It was not at all like the pictures. The shower was dripping. The box spring was exposed and the lining all torn up underneath. When I pulled the toilet paper the whole holder came out of the wall. There was a bug ON MY TOOTHBRUSH. I prepaid for 3 nights and could only stomach the one. They WOULD NOT REFUND the other two nights. There were 5 other people complaining and checking out at the same time I was. There were stains on the walls and bathroom. It was NOT AT ALL AS PICTURED. AWFUL.
Shower and bathroom dirty. Unacceptable
Beachfront views were great. Room needed minor repairs. But, main complaint was could not get room's ac to comfortable setting. Wasn't terrible. Eventually set thermostat to 60. It never got close.
Remodel / Color Scheme looks good! Bathroom smelled like urine or been wiped down with soiled rags. A/C when kicked on was a Blizzard with fan directed at bed. It made it an uncomfortable nite.
Only thing I saw that needed improvement on was cleaning of the bathroom, toilet bottom base was not cleaned
The room was very great! They ended booking us in a handicap room since they were booked and offered to switch rooms for free on the next day, but we decided to stay in the room. Everything was clean and nice except there was a whole lot of dust by the balcony and other places. Besides that the location was perfect and the staff and cleaning service was very nice to us. I would go back to that hotel again if we ever plan on going to Corpus Christi. The hotel jacuzzi was always to full and most of the time when we would try to swim it was filled of people that had brought their own alcohol. Also it was sometimes thought to find a parking spot, I had to walk somewhere because I didn't wanna lose my parking spot
Great Customer Service..!!! Great atmosphere in the Bar, Pool, and Hotel.
The beach view Room service
I loved everything! The room was gorgeous and super clean. There was everything we needed in our room. Fridge, microwave, wifi, and big king size comfortable bed! The hotel staff was very polite and the hotel was so peaceful and in the center of so many stores, restaurants, and even a mall.
Friendly staff, indoor pool, close to shopping centre, beaches within easy reach.
Comfortable beds, easy check-in, check -out, close to our house, good location, friendly personnel. 1st stay 3 weeks ago, we're in our room 10 minutes when the maid knocks on our door to tell us they'd had several complaints about the smell of smoke coming from our room. It was the candles I'd brought for our stay, my B'day and I love to soak in a tub and have scented candles going, had cleared it with the front desk at check in. She was VERY RUDE about the whole thing. This time I check in and get told I need to leave a $50 deposit in case I smoke in the room again, I almost walked out immediately, but I explained to the desk clerk, paid the $50 and went up. Guess what I found??? Dirty, BLOOD Smeared sheets(the blood spots were Bright Red, never washed, and were hidden by the orange bed cover....... Not even an 'I'm sorry' from the guy that came to change it, seemed like I was wasting his time and he wanted me to know it. Last time I'll stay there.
The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel is located near many stores and restaurants. It is also fairly close to the college. Although not the fault of the hotel, the people in the room above us were very noisy.
Kindness of staff. Had easy access to swimming pool and fitness room. The stay was very comfortable. We enjoyed out stay. We plan to go back. Staff was kind but our trash in the room accumalated. I asked 3 times if it can be taken out. I guess she forgot.
I love to swim and relax in the indoor pool! The bed was very comfortable as well.
The staff was very friendly.
Very modern, nice, clean, comfortable We order room service and they did not have a lots of the food that it was on the menu. And went they bought the food up they forgot to bring the Desert order for my daughter .
At first I was excited about the name. Hyatt. I had high expectations. I liked the fact that you could order food even though it wasn't 'room' service. The room was spacious and clean for the most part. (The carpet had stains). The shower and bathtub were messed up. The plug didn't work and the shower curtain was too short to fit all the way down the rod. This made water go everywhere on the floor. Radio/alarm time was wrong and it couldn't be fixed. Evening staff uncaring.
Everything was very nice, the room were very nice, the staff excellent, great location, right in the middle of town, very nice for the price No
location is close to restaurants, mall and downtown paper thin walls, you could hear people talking from next room and walking in the room above us,saltwater pool is a horrible idea, breakfast best option is cold english muffins with overheated cheese and bacon. definitely not a three star hotel
The space and layout of the room was very roomy. The staff was very nice. The onky thing was the air conditioning was very cold but it was because we dis not know how to adjust it so it was their fault but ours.
Every thing was just so clean and well kept. The complimentary breakfast was pretty legit. I think they used real eggs!
Very clean. Great location. Good breakfast. My daughter forgot her makeup bag in the room. When the hotel was questioned about it, it had not been turned in. They could not give explanation as to what might have happened to it
Good location. Nice clean rooms. The bed was very comfortable. I just had a little bit of trouble and when I checked in. Apparently the entry card did not scan. So I had to go three different times to get it to work .
Love this hotel! Perfect for adults and children. Yummy free breakfast buffet. Super clean and modern. Nothing bad to say.
I love the location of this hotel as it is right off of the highway. I also like that there are several food choices for a late dinner. I stay here once every 2 months and will continue to only use this hotel for Corpus. Sometimes the breakfast can be a little too simple. This last time I liked it as there were more options than before.
Nice open air concept, easy accessibility, and large rooms. Cleaning staff missed the room several days.
Hotel was really nice inside. Staff was working hard even on holiday week. Food was excellent. Right between Corpus and Port A. Parking lot blocked off for maintenance limited parking.
Breakfast Checked in online but still had to wait 20 mins at desk an hour after checkin time due to rooms not being ready. Did not have the 2 bedroom suite we reserved. Instead put the family in non adjacent rooms. Could hear other rooms conversations and people walking around above us. At 2 am the fire alarm goes off for ten seconds waking up our two year old. Flat out awful experience which is why I stay at Marriotts. Oh yeah, Internet kept kicking off as well
Close to most restaurants, breakfast was great. Lights were going in and off in breakfast room. But staff was aware and s
Everything real clean staff was real polite and always ready to help with any questions or concerns Liked everything
The hotel and staff were nice. I was charged twice. Once from priceline and once from the hotel. Now I'm having trouble getting a refund.
Helpful staff with great handling with the breakfast we ate. Very comfortable room and bathroom. Had a pretty great stay for one night, and an awesome breakfast the staff took care of the next morning.
I would recommend that you remove the tub stoppers once a month in all your rooms to clean out the hair . While taking a shower the tub was filling with water this has happened on several occasions during different stays lucky for me I am a handyman and knew what to do,other than that lovely place to stay.
The price was right. We originally intended to stay at the Embassy a block away but it fell just out of budget. The room was hot. Some may not think 75-76 degrees hot but I sure do. Plus they changed the rules so that you cannot have drinks by the pool. As many before me have said: no free breakfast. All in all, if you don't plan on spending a whole lot of time there, by all means it was a clean place to stay with friendly staff.
Staff was great. Rooms were clean Nothing
The bed Bad location. Also in description says it has a nice bar within the hotel...it was a lobby where you could drink! Also had a Starbucks but could only order a total of 10 drinks couldn't order anything you'd get at a regular starbucks.
Free upgrade Just a little too far out
Staff were friendly, breakfast was good A lot of roaches in the room, in bath room and around regrigerator! The "hot" tub was not heated, very cold water, they should not open the pool+hottub at night if the water was not heated.
Pool, hot jetted spa ,early breakfast 4am + hot coffee and hot cocoa 24hours in main lobby. Clean Not enough towels to swim and take baths for two people only 2 towels. Need at least 4. The curtain is not shaded and it was bright at night do could not sleep with flood lights looking like daylight all night.
To begin, At check in, nobody was at the reception counter. It took 2 hours to find someone and check in. The bed had trash under the mattress. The room smelt weird and the breakfast was terribllleeee. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I liked the location. There is a Valero adjacent to the hotel and a CVS across the street. The intersection is not a busy one at all. It was a quick trip to Padre Island and downtown as well. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly - albeit a little reserved. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. The beds were very comfortable and the suites were a good size and had a cold fridge and nice sized microwave plus plenty of outlets in convenient locations to recharge everything with a battery. If I have to choose something to pick on, it would be the parking lot. However, the last two hotels I've stayed at in Corpus (La Quinta by the airport and Embassy Suites) had the same problem so it's certainly not an issue isolated to Comfort Suites. If you arrive back to the hotel from the beach, movie or a late dinner after 9 - 10 PM, you will most likely find that there are no available spaces left. Every morning I'd walk out of the hotel to see cars parked under the awning at the front door.
Gym Elvitoer is slow
The V Boutique Hotel is a great addition to Corpus Christi. The staff was helpful and courteous, the room was spacious and had a stylish and contemporary design. It is located above one of my favorite restaurants, but was unfortunately closed for the Holidays. I will definitely stay there again for future visits. The satellite TV system was not working upon check-in but was fixed by the time we returned later that evening.
very quiet, nice. wish i knew that checkout was at 1200, would have loved to sleep later.
Beautiful hotel! So comfortable, we didn't want to leave! It feels like you're right at home. Pricey, but worth it. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to head to the beach or have a great night out. Definitely will be returning again!
The Vietnamese Restaurant located under the V Boutique,...the food was awesome. A must do again!!!! Not enough hot water for a couple to shower without waiting for the hot water to heat up between showers.
Comfortable rooms and great view of Corpus Christi Harbor. Close to many good restaurants. Helpful and friendly staff Lack of complimentary light breakfast.
The rooms were clean and bed was super comfy. For the price of the room I would expect a small fridge. I had a great view but balcony doors are locked so you can't go outside on balcony. I took my kids and try not to eat out the entire trip but there was no microwave either. One room didn't even have a blow dryer so my daughter had to come to my room to use mine. The room with 2beds had a closet that was broken. Their sink in the bathroom would never drain. The drinks at poolside bar were so weak. My $7 margarita was very small. The pool was sooo salty and the filter wasn't doing its job. There were tons of bugs in pool.
Valet parking on evenings is horrible! Need more Valet people long waits. I waited 45 minutes for my vehicle.
I liked the day I left. That hotel was horrible. Poor staff, unorganized staff, poor management , no security. Will never return to this hotel or allow any one that I know stay here.
The fitness center looks poor
Had a nice view of Corpus Christi Bay Motorcycles and cars racing up and down the street in front of hotel all night!!! Need police presence to stop this!!!
Everything about our stay was good, except for one little hiccup. Our bath/shower had an issue w/ the water, that wouldn't turn off, Had to change rooms. Was comped a breakfast for the trouble
Facility was outdated. Beds were very uncomfortable
Old casino look, needs to be updated! Holiday inn hotels usually have very modern, clean look. This one looked like a 90s Harrah's casino!
Location Ceiling in bathroom was messed up No microwave For the price I expecting way more.
The location was convenient & the view was nice The walls were very thin. I could hear everything my neighbors were doing. The beds are dated & uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet is horrible.
Our room was in great condition and the hotel was in a great location. There were resturants within a short drive of the hotel and the beaches were within a thirty minute drive. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. If anything could be improved, it would be the breakfast and towels. The hotel seemed to run out of both kind of quick, but seem to be easy fixes.
This would have been an ideal stay except for the bed being too soft. We didn't get a good night's sleep and suffered back pain as a result.
This is a nice, newer hotel BUT we did have a problem in our room. As soon as I walked in I noticed a smell - the air conditioner was dripping and the carpet was wet. When I called the front desk, the phone rang and rang when they finally answered I told them the problem where she proceeded to tell me she didn't know what she could do and would have to call her manager as there were no more rooms. In the end they gave us febreeze lol and a free night. OH,the indoor pool was so cold and in need of cleaning, and the beds were super comfy. We would try this hotel again though.
This hotel was excellent. A little hidden, but finding it was well worth it. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Our room was great, beds were comfortable and the staff was so nice . . . even the housekeeping ladies smiled and told us ';good morning'. The breakfast room was a little crowded, but it was a Sunday towards the end of the serviing time. The girl at the front desk quickly opened up a conference room to allow people to sit down and eat. Talk about going out of your way!!!! I was very impressed!
Staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean. Great hot breakfast each morning with a good selection of ceral, fruits, muffins, etc. too. Room was plush and comfortable. I had a king bed but not the suite. Not sure if all rooms were like this but the sink in the bathroom seemed high -- hard to reach for little ones if children are traveling with you. Other than that the only other negative is the air conditioning unit was very loud when it was running. However, there is individual wall control thermostat and the AC worked very well so the extra noise was a good trade off. Also, the doors and walls in the rooms were solid and it seemed to cut down on outside noise. Hi-speed internet had a strong connection (and free!). Location wise, it was easy to get into and out of and seemed pretty convenient to most parts of Corpus Christi -- within 15 minutes of any place and several nice restaurants within walking or short driving distance. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you get it at a reduced rate.
central shopping area. Safe location, and off the expressway.
I was pleased with my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Suites. The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. Pillows were labeled soft or firm and felt great. The bathrooms were nice, although it was hard to reach the sink basin because of the way the counter is around the sink. The shampoo and conditioner smelled like cinnamon. The complmentary breakfast was great with very delicious, warm cinnamon rolls. I would definitely stay here again.
The staff and my fellow guests were friendly, neighborly and helpful. The grounds are immaculate. The rooms are spotless and inviting. We wanted to stay in the awesome bed all day, it was so comfortable! This place is close to lots of places to eat and shop, like Fridays and Academy.
big rooms. ..especially nice when traveling with the whole family coffee maker was not working at breakfast.
Kind of desolate.

Friendly staff. Spacious room. Whirlpool tub. Roach in room, hair in shower.
Layout of the room The eggs at breakfast The view of the parking lot behind the hotel Parking in front filled up quickly No TV channel guide in room
very pleasant staff, clean room, properly stocked bath, better than average beds, plenty of different pillows, quiet, neatly done breakfast area kept clean and supplied. nothing comes to mind
location, price, and free breakfast were all pretty good. bright lights in parking lot, felt safe. staff member at check in was very friendly and helpful. pet friendly hotel.. my 8 yr old was miserable from allergic reactions. thin walls. heard children and pets running the halls and in the room upstairs a lot.
Staff were very friendly. The breakfast was not as nice as other Laquinta's I've stayed at. There was a very limited selection. The eggs were cold every morning and the microwave stopped working while I was there.
The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was clean and plentiful! Kids loved it! Pool/spa could use a cleaning or painting. Really would make a huge difference
Overall it was a nice hotel, nicely decorated, good breakfast Saw bugs in bathroom and black fingerprints on wall in bathroom also
The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel is pet friendly. We brought our 2 dogs with us and there was enough area behind the hotel where we could walk our dogs. The location is convenient from the mall, restaurants, beach, etc.

Price is stellar for the quality. Clean/nice rooms and friendly staff. The location is in the mix of good dinning, down the street from roy's bait and tackle and a quick drive to/from bob hall pier. Suite style room means fridge and freezer. This hotel is as nice as hotels you pay double the price for N/A
Pretty central location For the money I'd rather stay at the Courtyard.
