Very central and on small road hence some traffic noise, but generally ok.
Traffics noise but is in town.
To be fair I booked this thinking I had booked a different hotel. I had, by coincidence, stayed here before. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach with good access to a variety of restaurants along the front. The owner / manager is very nice. The breakfast is continental so not the place for you if you like a full English!
I had booked because it was pet friendly. It is but the rooms are very small for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The beach was nearby but signs every 20m said no dogs allowed on the beach. That said, if you go to the promenade and turn left, there is plenty of beach space there for dogs to run around. Not as nice but hey-ho! any port in a storm!. So almost no complaints, it is not a bad option for a budget traveller. However, 1 complaint. It is France... the home of amazing cheese.. what is with the orange slices of plastic cheese? It is like a nightmare Red Leicester without the flavour! The coffee and mini croissants were very good though...
Clean sheets comfy bed
No reception, after several phone calls we were told to go to back door and use key pad. No lift for elderly mother.
The hotel was everything I thought it would be for the price. It’s a quaint little place with great art work in the reception area. The rooms are clean and tidy and we had everything we needed. The staff were very nice and helpful. Make sure to call if you know you won’t be there during the reception open hours, they will give you directions to access the room. The location is a very short walk to the convention centre and the beach, wonderful!
The rooms and the bathroom were small, we had a triple room plus our dog so space was tight but we didn’t spend much time in the room anyways!
The entrance (rear) was dark damp and smelly. Room was dated and cold but very clean.
