Surrounded by restaurants and shopping mall within a half mile. Guest laundry. Coast Guard Air Station 7 miles. Pet charge: 25.00 first night, 10.00 each additional night. Limit 2 pets per room.
The room was really clean and smelled nice. The hotel's location makes it easy to navigate to and from. For the price you can't beat it.
The only drawback was the crowded parking lot and the abundance of dump trucks taking up a lot of spaces.

Pillows. Fresh towels daily. Did have same bedspread over 3 days ( not big problem).
Bathroom. Toilet paper holder was loose pulled from wall. Terrible paint job Stevie Wonder could of done better. Refrigerator froze my drinks

Hotel was clean.
Room was unfinished. Couldn't turn the channels on the tv, tolet paper roll was coming out of the wall, etc..
Wasn't as bad as I was anticipating.
It's clean rooms are being remodeled well kept.
The breakfast which is coffee and donut bagel kind of breakfast is less than par. Items are dry not very fresh.
Located right in the middle of everything. Close to restaurants.
We had cockroaches in our room. Told the night shift clerk and he said what did I expect I am in NC. I did get a refund and we slept in our car rather then staying there.
Under construction AC units loud and didn't cool very well
Location and that it was very quiet
They were remodeling ve
Econo Lodge is the class of the field in Elizabeth City's so called 1=star market. Good bed, a TV chair and working internet. Its surprising how many outlets can't handle simple basics, especially the internet. And a big thanx for returning what I left.
hearing everything thats happening in the parking lot
First room had a dirty rusted air conditioner...the air would blow through a nasty bunch of yuck. We were able to switch rooms.
Location and price
Advertised free breakfast but more of a continental breakfast and no where to sit to eat...had to take food to room. It was raining and would have to go outside to room...
I wish there was a pool
The room was clean. The decor was dated but the room fit my needs.
Hotel security Is lacking.
The room was very nice and clean.
The breakfast area is extremely small with not a lot of options.
When I arrived, no one was in the office, they were out for about 30 minutes.
Clean, not a lot of noise or partying going on in other rooms.
They moved my grandson's room upstairs.
The hotel was clean and up to date. The shower was very nice! I thought the hotel was wonderful specially for the low price.
The breakfast wasn't great but it worked.
The price was great!
My room wreaked of cigarette smoke. I could not leave my clothes in the room for fear of the smell saturating my clothes.
First night we were approached my a man which he came out of nowhere wanteing to start a conversation and wanting cigarettes. Was very nervous and my husband had to close our room door in his face. I called the front desk and they said they were familiar withhim and thought he was homeless. The second night was worse. Had drug dealing and prostitution going on 2 doors down from us with cars coming and going til 2 in the morning but they were all gone at 6am. We opened our door at 10:00 that night and there were 2 guys and a girl standing at our door smoking weed. Bad, bad experience. Don't stay here. Pay $10.00 more dollars and get a safer and better place. Very bad people hanging around.
Hotel was comfortable and clean. It required what I needed for my stay. Clean sheets, nice bed, and functioning shower. Accessibility to location was great.
inside the room was nice.. old motel but the inside updated very well...the outside needs real work the pictures they use must have been taken 20 years ago, door hard to open,,,people cooking on side walk with grill speaker on hood of truck blasting, check in was ok man very firendly,,ck out was not man had shirt down to his knees hat on backwards unprofessional i.was not sure if he had just robed the place or worked there..breatfast was a joke 6 quater size bagles on a counter in the office,,,,i can not believe econo lodge would let this motel use its name..stay next door e
The ads say they have a pool, when I checked in I was told it was a 'shared' pool with Quality Inn in the adjacent building. That turned out to be a lie. We found out when my wife and kids were thrown out by the Quality Inn people on the third day. The other guests were loud and drinking heavily in the parking lot (as well as having a cookout on the sidewalk below our room). Our neighbors played mariachi music loudly until 2 am. The chairs were old and heavily stained. The cleaning staff did a decent job, though. Overall, it just wasn't worth the money I saved by not booking a better hotel.
The staff was great. The rooms were clean and great for 2 to 4 people it had refrigerater microwave, hair dryer , showers had great water pressure we asked for extra towels and pillows and got them right away for the money we stayed for 2 nights for the price of one night at Hampton only one down fall no pool but we were so busy at the outer banks and the ocean that we didn't care.We was not far from the outer banks and beaches there. We will stay there again
Rooms are not spacious. Walls - a bit too thin
