Winter & Summer Sports – Right from the Door: A short ski bus ride from the hotel connects guests directly to the surrounding ski areas – ideal for skiing and snowboarding across the slopes of the Kitzbühel Alps. Cross-country skiers enjoy an extensive network of groomed tracks for both classic and skating styles, free of charge through the wide sunny valleys around St. Johann. In summer, adventure starts right outside: the KAT Walk (Kitzbüheler Alpen Trail) – a multi-day long-distance hiking trail – winds through the entire region, with stages passing directly through St. Johann in Tirol. Mountain bikers can explore flowy singletrails, the Harschbichl Trail, the OD Trails in Oberndorf, and the KAT Bike multi-day route across the Kitzbühel Alps. Trail runners love the terrain around the Kitzbüheler Horn and the Wilder Kaiser. Golf: The region is a true golfer's paradise – with the Golf & Country Club Lärchenhof close by and numerous further courses within easy reach throughout the Kitzbühel Alps. Heated outdoor pool (in winter), indoor pool, sauna, steam bath, hot tub, fitness room, plus massage and beauty treatments to recharge between active days. Our in-house restaurant serves international cuisine with a regional Tyrolean touch. Special diet menus and packed lunches are available on request – perfect for a full day out on the trails or slopes. The sunny garden terrace invites guests to unwind after active days in the mountains. A children's playground, games room with table tennis, TV, Pool table and Dart round off the facilities. Bicycles are available on request, and horse riding can be arranged just steps from the hotel. The ski bus stops directly at the hotel, taking you effortlessly to the Steinplatte and St. Johann in Tirol ski areas. The award-winning Golf & Country Club Lärchenhof is just a short drive away, as is the legendary alpine town of Kitzbühel.
