Called the hotel when struggling to find it by car. Receptionist walked to our car, showed us a hotel space and took our cases to the hotel. Absolutely brilliant!
Second floor without a lift

Beatrize in reception was vary kind and helpful for us. She made our stay a very pleasant one. The location of the hotel is near the major sights and restaurants.
Nothing.

For a town centre hotel, the location is ideal as everything is in walking distance. Despite being the middle of August, it was also quiet outside at night. For a one-night stay at a discount price, it ticked the box.
Frankly, everything seemed a bit old-fashioned, "tired" and past it's former glory; worn carpet, chipped paint, plastic shower curtain, stained tile, grouting, etc. It's clean and comfortable enough but you just get the feeling it really needs some money spending on it now to bring it up to modern standards. There is no lift either which could be a bit of an issue if you are up on the second floor. The other issue is access/parking. Forget sat-nav! The hotel forget to tell us that the road immediately outside the hotel is blocked off half way down which means you get close but then then have to navigate tiny backstreets to escape. We also chose this hotel as it was one of the few that was central and had parking; however, the truth is they only have 3-4 spaces in the nearby square which all seemed to be full all day/night. Parking overnight is free but then you have to keep feeding the meter. As a separate matter altogether, we found Evora massively overrated.
