Our girls weekend was horrible. First it was 50.00$ to get into the pool with 2,000 other people. So we had to find another resort to relax at. And then our plumbing went out and was not accommodated until we called and complained. We were told to use the bathroom in the casino and we had no place to shower. The only bright spot was the front desk manager upon check out who was completely embarrassed about how we were treated.
We loved our room being upgraded, The balcony was awesome! Great view, Good staff. The facility was beautiful and very clean. Only 1 chair, 1 robe, 1 slippers, and one soap even though there were 2 of us. Would be better for me as a first timer to have had better instructions from the check in counter on everything from what we can and can't take to our room to how to work the heater.
Room design is great! Room is very comfortable. Fort Knox ... the process for getting into the pool was ridiculous. 4 stages of security... worse than TSA
Great hotel with great amenities, a nice pool with weekend pool parties, ample dining options, and a friendly staff.
The entire facility was very clean, very nice staff, the text messaging for room status was great especially since I was messaging a real person and not a computer The price was a little high but that could have been because of the near holiday weekend
The smoking- the young people and lack of good restaurants
Food was adequate. Really enjoyed the pool all day Saturday, with the sunburn to prove it. I purchased a rate for a room that offered 1 king or 2 queens, seeing as I was staying the night with my friend and my girlfriend we were going to need 2 queen beds, I was never prompt to choose between the two options so I assumed we would sort the matter out at the front desk. I checked in with both my guest present with me, even put their names on it for 3 room keys. At this point obviously I was under the impression the woman behind the counter would think "oh maybe he needs 2 queens" not the case, we received the king bed but only found out after we had made our way to the 7th floor. After all is said and done we get downgraded to fit our accommodations, promised a refund for the difference over the phone from the room once we received our room keys the woman at the front desk had no awareness of our situation and did not refund me anything. Hardly apologized for the inconvenience, blamed the woman over the phone for being new so that they didn't have to offer a refund. No carry-in policy? Never saw a sign for that, pretty sure everyone and their grandmother bring alcohol from home? I brought my beverage to the casino floor and needed it to be popped open so I asked the bartender for a bar keep and he "confiscated" my drink from me due to their no carry-in rule. Unbelievable.
Loved everything about my stay except the spa. I received 2 services at the spa which were stellar and the service providers equally fantastic. The front desk staff and attendant however, were in a rush to close over a half hour so they closed parts of the spa facilities early and wouldn't accommodate a later appointment time. There are MANY spas to choose from in Scottsdale and this used to be one of my favorites.
My room had a fabulous view and was very clean besides the two huge bugs that were flying around next to the bedside lamp. The check in process was a headache. They gave terrible directions from the check in counter to the elevator and I had to ask several employees where and how to get to my room. Not to mention I was on the 13th floor and the elevator didn't even have a button for "13", so again I had to go down to the 1st level and ask the security person at the hotel entry. The valet guys left a lot to be desired too.
The rooms were nice, beds comfy, and food was good. The pool and facilities were clean and well kept. The noise was outrageous. Me and my girlfriend went to get away from the kids and have a relaxing "staycation." People were partying so loudly on our floor we could feel the base coming from the music in their room. Alerted hotel staff multiple times regarding this issue and it was not taken care off. We were also promised a call back from the security manager and never received one. The music and yelling lasted until about 3 am (our first complaint was about 1030pm.) will never stay hear again due to the lack of concern by staff regarding the problem we encountered.
Clean, good sized rooms noise of pool rattled our shutters on Sat when they have rehab type party
This was a great location for our AZ getaway. We loved the amenities, enjoying several of the restaurants on location, every pool and hot tub option, and really loved the gym with a view. While we knew there would be smoking on the casino level, since neither of us smoke, the fact that the entire floor, including the check in desk, reeked of smoke, was offensive. I think the resort would be better if the check in area was relocated away from the stench of smoke.
Amazing resort!! The resort fee! Get rid of that! Total BS!
Beautiful hotel with great customer service. Best hotel experience. Will book future stays here!
Great location - easy to walk downs town. Excellent pool to beat the heat.
Clean and perfect hotel in downtown Tempe. Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Highly recommended.
Great location in downtown Tempe, Excellent staff Complimentary valet parking was terrific! Rooms were very nice Great amenities, with a pool bar!
Everyone that worked there that I interacted with was very friendly and it was just a very smooth nice stay. The room was nice and clean. I definitely would have liked to stay there longer. Nothing which is what you want. I don't know exactly how they would have handled an issue had it arose, but I would guess based on how friendly they were that they would have done well.
Pluses: bed, room size, courtyard, bar in lobby, location location location. Minuses: limited number of two bed rooms, terrible roll away, dated and impossibly cramped exercise room, nonexistent security, low pressure shower.
Not much to say, this is simply a nice place for the money in a great location. It's easily accessible to I10 for travelers transiting through.
The location near the University was vibrant with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The pool area was also nice For the price, we expected nicer rooms and services. The bathrooms are small, and rooms are a bit outdated. The recent carpet cleaning left a nauseating smell that made the stay uncomfortable.
Quiet. Nice facility and staff Nice breakfast and was a great value. You'd expect to pay more even in Phoenix in August
The young lady at the desk was very welcoming, felt like an old friend. They were very accommodating, at the last minute I let them know I needed a ground level room. My mom is blind and has trouble walking, location of the room was perfect! What astounded us was how clean the room smell when we opened the door. Will definitely return!
Liked everything. Close to airport, shops, restaurants, highway system, takes pets, rooms quiet even when fully booked, great service with shuttle to dining and shops and airport, refrig and microwave available in some rooms, great hot breakfast with fruit waffles too, attractive modern rooms, FOX news channel, ticks all my boxes. Cons: can't think of a thing.
Clean, comfortable Breakfast
The staff at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Bed comfortable
Great service, clean & spacious rooms! The check in staff was extremely courteous. We arrived rather late (3am) from CA. We were upgraded to a suite and added an hour to our check out time. It was the best sleep we had on our way to Texas. Our stay left us with a great impression of the Phoenix & Tempe area.
Family really enjoyed - spacious, clean, nice grounds. Staff was great.
Great hotel for the money if your visit takes you to ASU campus and you have transportation. The ice machines are located only on the ground floor.
Close to the airport, great price, good breakfast, clean and nice. The air conditioner was a little noisy when running.
We only stayed here over night to catch an early morning flight. The front desk personnel were very efficient and very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Small room, small tight bathroom. Noisy AC unit.
The staff were amazing and continually helpful. The beds were comfortable. great to have fast wireless access. the Ihop next door was a good option for a quick meal. Manager? Jim..juts terrific
The hotel is very convenient to visit Arizona State University Tempe Campas.
Friendly and competent staff, interior of the room without any critism, airport shuttly OK, nearby area very nice. Noise isolation could be slightly better; even in sixth flor I heard noise from the road and airport. But it is OK for one night. There is only one restaurant in walking distance (which I can recommend anyway) and one hotel bar.
Hip boutique hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. Excellent location. On-site Mexican restaurant is overpriced.
the location was nice and the pool area was well kept
Nice bar, interesting retro decor, fairly clean Hard bed, AC loud & didn't cool the tiny room, no shower curtain so the bathroom was soaked, staff was rude & unaccommodating, wouldn't put friends nearby or even on the same floor
Very accommodating staff. Awesome stay. Very comfortable. P
The staff was friendly and helpful in all areas - much more so than at other hotels we have visited. We would come back happily 9in fact plan to do so for next year's AZ Ironman). By then the new restaurant will be open so we will have a choice of where to eat. The outdoor pool was one of the best I have ever used. Perfect temperature and great size. And plenty of nice fluffy towels to dry off with. Your shuttle service was great - next time we won't rent a car. Nothing
Comfortable suites with good beds; lush vegetation; wonderful little swimming pool right across from our suite; restaurant patio dining; a great water park for kids; good gift shop. Furniture somewhat dated; very small bathroom; stained carpet in living room (except for that, the suite was very clean).
Grounds Family water park Requested newspaper three times - never received - front desk and "grand service" said that paper would be delivered as it was part of " resort fee" which I was required to pay Asked for creamers for coffee in room never delivered TV says you can check out via tv but cannot - line was half hour long Facility is nice but dated and worn Service in bar was understaffed, "free" appetizer (with two drink minimum) never arrived Mandatory $45.00 plus tax resort fee seems excessive considering poor service
How busy the pool area is with kids. I am not sure how they can help adults that are not traveling with kids but I'm sure they would be annoyed with the level of kid noise. I think the parents allow the kids too much freedom with little parent supervision even late at night. I feel they should have curfews for the kids. If you are seated over the bridge you must bring your shoes to the lazy river or your feet will be burned. I feel they should have more entrances to the lazy river to much congestion in one area
We loved our comfortable room. We loved the waterpark. We loved being able to check in a little early. We didn't love not being able to bring a few snacks into the waterpark. They make sure you have to buy them there.
Beautiful balcony view and clean room. No ice machine on every floor.
The water park is so fun ! There are so many fun things to do there the water slides are awesome! The beds are super comfy too!! There's a resort fee that should just be included in the price but it's for a good reason and the room service is a bit high .
Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere... we celebrated our first year anniversary here and the staff was very courteous that we had an upgrade on our room and a bottle of wine given to us for free at your arrival! Excellent location! Restaurant had good quality food just a little overpriced.
This isn't a very romantic resort. Too many places for families and not enough places for romance DO NOT LIKE THE EXTRA CHARGE AT THE DESK OF $49 FOR WHATEVER. I WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $110 WHICH $55 IS REIMBRUSED AFTER SO MUCH TIME. CHARGE WHAT YOU WILL AND LEAVE IT AT THAT. WE COME FOR THE SLIDES & LAZY RIVER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. BUSINESS MAYBE DIFFERENT.
We went for the water park & got more than we expected for the holiday with extended hours & activities for the children. For an additional amount we could check out later & enjoy the park more. Staff were very courteous. No microwave
rooms and Oasis waterpark menu choices for romm service a little limited
We really enjoyed the Oasis Water Park they had different events going on which made it super fun for the kids. The room was clean, great location close to shops restaurants and more. Plenty of things to do at resort.
value, breakfast, free parking, free PHX shuttle, friendly front desk only one small waste basket in our suite. need two.
Nice clean room Seemed like a 1000 kids in the pool all the time
Location is convenient by the Arizona mills mall. The swimming pool was clean and nice. Next door to a strip club. The breakfast room was filled with employees and their children eating leaving no room for guests. The workout facilities were virtually nonexistent. The equipment was inoperative except for what elliptical machine and it was a narrow miserable room in a sketchy back corner of the second floor of the hotel. The electronic key system had to be reset three times and the three days we were there which locked us out of our room. I did not feel safe in the area seem to be crowded with transients from the strip club and the gas station next door which is a local hoodlum hang out. The residential area surrounding the hotel is very sketchy. Don't make a wrong turn.
The suite was very spacious. The faculties seemed old and upkeep seemed a bit lacking.
Staff was friendly, courtesy, professional.
Location, outdoor access to rooms (no long hallways), refrigerator and microwave, friendly staff at front desk. We have stayed at this hotel several times. This time our room had a somewhat peculiar bathroom sink. It was somewhat high and the counter followed the curve of the sink but was very wide so that it was quite a reach to get to the faucets and the sink. It was as if the vanity was designed for a very tall person with long arms. We have never noticed this in the past so perhaps it is just this particular room.
The location convenience and price were very good!! The Happy hour was a very, Very pleasant surprise. The staff could have been more engaging. They were not rude, in fact they were very attentive and polite, just not very outgoing.
i stayed there during an overnight layover for a flight. Since the layover was over 12 hours, I could not ship my luggage to my final destination. So I had some heavy luggage with me. Without an elevator, I struggled with my bags to get them up the stairs. There didn't seem to be an elevator, nor staff to help us with that.
Businesses within walking distance, shuttle from airport, lots of extras provided like blowdryer, ironing board, microwave, fridge, diswasher and separate tv couch area seperate from bed.nice hot continental breakfast from 630am to 10am. Bathrooms were clean but gross or need of upgrade appearance more or less cosmetic. They provide a kitchenette but provide no pots or pans to cook with, idk if you had to ask for them or not but unrealistic to pack cookware if flying or to buy cheap cookware, but for someone driving its useful. Bottled water supposed to be brought everyday but I guess you only get 1 bottle no matter how long you stay. Tv is limited to basic and 1 hbo channel, no on demand and they have a cafe on site which has a nice continental breakfast and alcholic beverages but no room service menu.
Love the warm weather in Phoenix. Location good. Enjoyed the pool. Pay $10/night for parking (in the middle of the desert). WiFi cost $12/night and didn't work - needed to plug in. For $200/night - this should be included.
Everything was very nice - the room was very clean and comfortable - atmosphere was great had to pay $10 for parking. When we return to the resort for the evening there were no parking spaces. Had to park in a dirt parking lot.....we paid $10 for that????
Did not feel like I was at a business conference. Food was great, staff was above average and accommodations were spa-like. I could not stay longer to take advantage of more aminities.
The staff was excellent! The beds were very comfortable! The hotel was very clean. The location wasn't in a good neighborhood and we didn't feel safe walking around...especially after dark.
The accommodations offered were great! Early breakfast with great, healthy options. Excellent friendly, helpful staff! Quick shuttle service to the airport. Excellent area to kill time between overnight flights (mall, restaurants). Great in room dining options via delivery. Comfortable, clean, safe environment.
Price, clean + free breakfast Facility needs update... L
The location was not as convenient as I had in mind
It is located close to the mall and restaurant. It was okay for a night stay.
Spacious and breakfast buffet. Great location
Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was sticky everywhere, but that wasn't really the fault of the hotel - just messy people. Bed was hard as a rock this time, during previous visits they were not so firm. The bathroom has trouble drying out.
Location was convenient to my meetings. There were french fries and grapes all over the floor when I arrived in my room. It was after midnight and I didn't even try to request another room.
The staff was friendly, breakfast was good, and the hotel itself was lovely. I stayed in the King executive suite. Really enjoyed my stay. No complaints.
I'm a big fan of these properties but this one had a terrible sewer gas smell which staff attributed to the increased burden on the Tempe sewer system that affected random rooms at random times during move in weekend.
I like the room and how clean it is.. thats it the customer service there wasnt that great, and i wasnt feeling welcomed probably not going back to this hotel thank you anyways
The staff was friendly (although it was understaffed), and the breakfast was great. The whole place seemed a little run down. Our room looked onto a rooftop covered in bird droppings and a stairway. The AC didn't cool the whole room because there was no central air. The bathroom light had trouble coming on. The room layout was odd.
The staff was very helpful in every way. The breakfast was very good, but the area is a little small to easily acccommidate the number of people trying to acquire there food. It would bee nice if you had free WIFI in the room areas
Breakfast was great (eggs and potatoes, fruit salad, pastries). Room was clean and suites our needs. Pull-out sofa bed wasn't the best but it worked
I was traveling alone and appreciated the safe parking area, great staff and clean hotel. I also like the pop and popcorn at night as I missed the evening social. It is in a great location to shop and go the Scottsdale or the airport.
The bed was so comfortable. I really didn't think I was in a mid level property. The complimentary happy hour and breakfast option were a real bonus.
Really liked the friendly staff, food was way beyond expectations, games were AWESOME! They have arcade games, pinball machines, all the classics and a nice billiard table. I did not like the smell but I suppose it's because they just finished renovating the whole place. They changed the paint everywhere and many of the rooms have never been slept in. The design is really weird but a fun type of weird!
The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Awesome pool, bar, and decor.
Fun and practical! Who needs a dresser or a closet now days. Very hip hotel. Can't wait to go back
It was very clean. We moved out of a one-star motel that was disgusting into this one and it was wonderful. Staff were so nice and accommodating. Loved the artwork. Within walking distance of ASU. No coffeemaker, frig or microwave but we managed fine and there was complimentary coffee in the lobby.
This place is great! Hip, cool atmosphere. Definitely recommended!
The ONLY thing I liked about this Hotel, was when I was leaving the following morning, a worker carrying towels held the door for me-because the worker walking ahead of me, didn't hold it open for either of us. You are actually limiting how long my complaints can be?? I'll tell you quickly -BeanBagChair-No Ice,No Coffee,No Frig,No Cable,Shared Shampoo,Conditioner,HandSoap, $---- A Night...Get the Idea?! Worst Place ! Not Even a Comfortable Bed!!
The manager was very accommodating and so nice. Hands down best staff ever.
The lobby was amazing. The free pinball and arcade games added to the f7n. The rooms are very well designed for the 21st century.their tv system lets y I u connect for free to your netflix, hulu, youtube, e5c ror free. The matress was like a rock. It wasnt very comfortable. Also l I ttle towl selection.
The decoration was so unique! It made for an excellent weekend getaway.
Refreshing atmosphere. Made us feel younger, as two younger seniors that was a pleasant surprise.
Clean, fresh design and staff
Unique invironment Lots of things ...No coffee maker in room, No clock, No drawers, Only 9 or so channels on TV, don't supply washcloths. Too much noise ....
Great location, clean, quiet, and efficient
Bed was comfortable, and the location was ideal for us The plumbing in the bath/shower combo didn't work properly. The tub faucet would still be running at the same time as the shower head, so the it was a race to see if the tub would be filled by the time you were showered.
Swimming pool was great.... Room was modern and very clean. Location to Downtown Scottsdale is perfect. The only thing that needed updating was the mattress. It felt soggy lumpy . Woke up with a sore back. Girlfriend also Complained about soreness.
Location location location... For the purpose of my trip and the price(60/night) the hotel was central to everything I planned to do which made it a great choice. The rooms initially appeared to be nice but their attention to detail is severely lacking. The sheets on the beds are white so it's very easy to see the black or reddish brown(hoping not blood) spots and lines on the comforters. The desk is black granite which made it a bit difficult to see the ants crawling on it but my daughter saw them and killed them with my boot. I thought she was kidding since I never saw any, u til our checkout date when I went to grab the phone chargers put of the wall and all the ants were on the wall socket. And last but certainly not least is the staff not being honest. Now this was 100% my mistake I left some articles of clothing on a hanger in the closet (kicking myself for not double checking before leaving) next day I call to inform them that I forgot it and told them exactly what and where it was located, but it can't be found by their staff. Two sweaters should not be worth their staff's integrity. In conclusion I personally will not be staying here again but if you choose to please remember to double check all of your belonging prior to leaving and keep a close eye for stains on your bedding and bugs in your room.
I loved the set up as well as I loved the view from my room and the cleaniness
location and privacy the thermostat was a little confusing
Updated furniture, clean, and comfortable Nothing everything was great
Upgraded us to a room with jacuzzi which was super nice of them. And very comfortable beds Check in process took longer than expected and they weren't busy
Loved the whirlpool tube, the bed was 2 die for and having microwave and refrigerator was the best ever I don't think we had a bad experience at all
Late check ins were available. Really nothing. My wife and I stayed only one night.
Wonderful, kind staff and really comfortable, clean rooms.
The staff was amazingly helpful, polite, and friendly. The property is beautiful, location is excellent, and rooms are top of the line for the money. Nothing!!! :)
Staff was excellent and hotel was great. Sink did not drain but staff fixed immediately.
I had to travel from Phoenix/Mesa Gateway Airport which was almost 33 miles to get to the Hotel. My smartphone gave perfect directions for a late night arrival. Staff was very courteous. I was given a room at the end of the hall - very quiet. Nice mix of people in the breakfast eating area. Very peaceful, quiet location. There were numerous seating areas outside the front entrance. The back cushions were missing on the chairs causing you to sit back against metal bars - uncomfortable.

The pool on the 11th floor. Can't beat that view at night.
How can this hotel be only a 3 star?????

This was our 3rd time staying here. We love the layout, large room, comfortable bed, love that it has a kitchen, awesome rooftop pool, great breakfast and wonderful staff. The location is great as well. No! :)
Very new facility, incredibly clean and well kept. Free parking on weekends was an added benefit. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well appointed with full kitchens and a living room slightly separated from the bed. Quiet, and close to everything Not a thing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The breakfast and rooms were very nice. They are pet friendly but they charge a $100fee. They also charge $12 a night for parking.
The location is great. ASU is near therefore you will find a lot of places to shop and eat nearby. Some of the staff were rude. One of them yelled at my children right in front of me and other people. It was clear that the children were with me. Never did he address his concern to me so that I could manage my children. Rather he yelled at them.
The modern design and cleanliness of the hotel is great. The pool and deck area looks great although I did not take advantage of it. not much to dislike. It would be nice if parking could be validated with the hotel stay but it is no big deal to pay.
Great roof deck. Close to downtown Tempe. Included a free breakfast with actual food instead of prepackaged items. Room comes with a full kitchen and ice cool rooms in the heat of the Tempe summer.

Location! Location! Location! And the staff was great!!! W
Modern design. Stayed at Aloft before. I like the rooms that are sectioned off from the living area better, like the ones at Arundel Mills, MD.
The bar and bartenders were exceptional!
Everything about this stay was very smooth. From check in to check out, no hiccups. Better than what I could of asked for. The only thing we didn't like was the comfort of the bed. Both of our backs were hurting by the time we checked out. Kinda firm, and not very forming to your own body shape.
We stayed at this hotel one night prior and one night when we returned from an international trip. The hotel was clean. The suite was spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle to and from the airport was timely. The breakfast was nice. Overall, a great place to stay.
Spacious room. Good working air conditioning . Comfortable bed. Small kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. Sun seeping thru the curtains, not extended enough . Carpet had a stain. Location had minimal dining and shopping options.
Great value for the price. Shower had great water pressure, spacious, fridge/microwave Sheets were itchy. Need to replace mattress pads/fitted sheets.
