Great location in downtown Savanah with plenty to do. I can promise you, you'll not run out of things to do here. Beach is about 20-minutes away and all other locations are with in walking distance.
Bartender was great. I believe his name was Andrew. Got into Savannah early and was able to valet car. Room was great. View of river. Front desk didn't have my reservation upon check in but was handled quickly. Waited over an hour for room service when told it would be a half hour.
This Hyatt is great...centrally located to historic Savannah, and overall stood up to Hyatt quality. awesome stay! We were very surprised and disappointed to learn they would not accept our three night stay toward our Hyatt points as a preferred customer because we book through a third-party. RIDICULOUS!!! Apparently the $825 we spent wasn't appreciated. No where on our on-line reservation did it tell us that, in fact, it asked us for our Hyatt Reward number! We stayed there this time to get our points. Had we known this we would have stayed at one of the historic B&Bs. They'll be hearing from us.
The hotel is very clean and big. Right on the river so it has an amazing view. The room was a decent size and was comfortable. I felt like The first check in staff I encountered was trying to scam me. She said my room wasn't available but that they had a room ready but it was an upgrade with additional costs involved. I declined but went to consult with my wife and she said we should do it. I spoke to another check in member who magically was able to find me a room without having to upgrade. Either she didn't really want to help me or it was a setup. Either way I didn't appreciate that.
Renovation has improved looks Booked King room and got double, double charged room to my card, still don't have that money back
The staff was very nice and helpful. Everyone was extremely nice. The hotel was under construction. It was so loud and not relaxing. Every room heard the construction. I moved to another room to another floor in hopes of getting away from the noise. It was worse where I ended up. I was woken to construction noise. The bathrooms were old, mold around the tub, water pressure terrible, toilet seemed dirty on the outside. Had I known the hotel was under construction And so out of date, I would not have chose to stay there.
The staff was nice. water view. Location. We didn't get the room we booked. The bathroom still had a wet towel from previous guest. The shower had a moldy smell and the drain was clogged with hair. Did not get any form of compensation or discount for the inconvenience.

A very clean, upscale and modern hotel right on the riverfront. The Top Deck roof top bar is a great place to hang out and unwind after a day of walking the historic district. Look out over the city or watch the huge cargo ships passing through. You are located above river street with a bunch of neat little stores and just a few blocks away from City Market where there is always something going on. I'd highly recommend this place Room was a little smaller than I expected but frankly didn't spend a whole lot of time in there. Everything else was great.
The staff was great, the room was even better, one of the best hotels I have stayed in! The river view and the night life around was also very nice! Valet parking was the only option for 25. per night, but the staff there was very nice also.

Love the location, fantastic to walk around beautiful historic downtown. Right on River Street. Felt very safe. The bathrooms are very nice and such a nice size, much bigger that most that are the size of a small closet. The floor was not very clean, like it had not been mopped. I would also maybe suggest another hotel if you are traveling with children. The rooftop bar is great, but you also have to contend with lots of drunks. I would not like to expose my children to the language and the fact that most people riding the elevator are seriously drunk!

We had a room directly underneath the lobby/elevator area. All we could hear constantly were footsteps and people walking around. It is terrible that this is even a room that the hotel would put people in. It seems obvious that good hotel design would utilize this space for other hotel amenities/uses rather than a room that people have to sleep in (or be kept awake in).

Location Location Location NEW Rather expensive for such small rooms and the bar closes early. While modern and beautiful, they completely removed the HISTORY of the hotel that they replaced. The Brice is located in the old MULBERRY property, which was originally built in the old Coca Cola Bottling factory of Savannah. It would have been a nice touch if the Brice had kept some of the old Black and White photos that were in the halls of the old hotel and displayed them, somewhere as a way to tie the new to the history of Savannah. Instead, they completely eradicated the history. The staff is good, but not great. This is supposed to be a five star hotel, and I would rate it four. No coffee pot in the rooms until you ask for it, then its delivered and is great-keurig -why not just put one in each room? That's what I expect in five star hotels and certainly at hotels in this price point range.

Even though there was lots of pets at the hotel it was kept very clean. Wine social hour was very nice. Pool was not heated.
Loved the hotel decor, comfort and great staff. Rooms were nice and clean. Great 5-5 free wine and appetizers. Great restaurant in lobby but also great food recommendations from the front desk and valet. We checked in and the bathroom sink was broken. However, the staff was quick to fix the problem a d relocated us in 30 seconds.

Great location, hip atmosphere, comfy beds. Seems like the staff was a bit immature or possibly new working in customer service. Check in was very "relaxed", bartender not able to help w/ wine selection, hostess made us call our own petty cab & find our own plastic cups for togo drinks. Nothing major, small courtesies like these would be expected in a place like this.
The receptionist was wonderful. We had accidentally booked the wrong date. She was more Han accommodating and even upgraded our room since it was our first family vacation! She took time and printed out restaurant recommendations and a city map.
Off course the location is great. staff are very friendly and helpful. The happy hour at the hotel is the best. They provide finger food and wine for free and it provides a great opportunity to exchange some information with other guests. They also have free bikes to rent which is awesome given that the closest place we saw that we could rent bikes was at market place. Mattress could have been a bit more comfortable.

I had very high expectations and am a die-hard Kimpton fan, unfortunately, with the exception of the San Francisco hotel this was the only other Kimpton disappointment in the range. I 've tried about 12+ different properties so far.
Staff was friendly The room location was by the elevator and adjacent to the balcony of the lobby. Dogs barking at each other. It sounded amplified.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. The rooms and facility were very clean and the beds and bedding was awesome! Luxurious, comfortable and completely accommodating for what I was looking for, for a weekend getaway. TV remote didn't work well. Upon initial call to the hotel, the front desk stated that they did not have shuttles to and from the airport. When I left and asked the front desk to call me a cab, they stated they had a shuttle that was $10 cheaper than a cab rate.
room was wonderful. Great shower, comfy bed, lots of pillows, very quiet. Always got a good nights sleep. loved the water taxi service. Room service guy was the most helpful and friendly person we dealt with the entire stay. He was great! We also liked the Green program, I like hotels that provide this option. front desk pretty much took the information and gave out keys. No information on where thing were, how to get to the water taxi, information on the different in house restaurants. We had to figure things out for ourselves and when we had to ask an employee, some were helpful and others acted like we were bothering them. I am enrolled in the starwood preferred guest program so I was expecting more helpfulness. Other Starwood properties had an info packet all ready at check in. Savannah is a destination spot so it would have been helpful if we had been given more information.
It was just my wife and our Morkie and the room was more than enough. Clean place, friendly staff. You definitely want to get a room facing the river that way you can see the ships come in and also have a view of river street. You have a ferry that can take you to river street from the Westin property for FREE. That way you are not spending $ on parking. If I'm back in Savannah I will def stay there again. N/A

Great location with a shuttle that takes you across the river 2x/hr so easy to get back and forth. Pretty grounds and for the most part very nice staff. They definitely need either a bigger pool or a second pool. With as many "pool days" as you get in Savannah, its reasonable to assume guests are for the most part going to take advantage of the pool. Its way too small for the size of the hotel, and there are no where near enough chairs. They also waste a lot of pool real estate on cabanas that they're trying to upsell...that could be more chairs. But even with more chairs the pool area is simply way too small for the capacity of the resort. Overall, upselling the cabana is reminiscent of their strategy...nickle and dime guests.

Personnel, except for one waitress, were great. First night there was no water. It came back on at 11:00 am the next day. We were just given an apology by voice mail. On top of the inconvienance (no bathrooms working, ick) it could have been a disaster since the sprinkler system would not have worked if a fire broke out. And we were on the 13th floor. Breakfast cost us $52.00! Really!!!??
Boring/Disorganized receptionist at Aqua Star restaurant and long waiting. The receptionist wrote my name on a piece of paper then told me to wait around 15 minutes but we waited 45 minutes. When i checked back on him , he acted confused then finally gave us a table. When we got inside, we noticed the family that came right before us were still not served. That's when we decided not to waste anymore time and leave.Overall The hotel is wonderful. More excited friendly staff and fast service
Check in time is late (4 pm) and don't count on being able to get your room a minute early.
The hotel was a really great deal, especially for the quality of hotel. It was a little on the outskirts of the downtown area.
The location is nice Everything else is horrible. Major renovations under way. They even renovate on Sunday's which is horrible. The bed is probably a 2 on a scale of 1-10. Room is small and no parking because you cannot park in the garage

Bed was comfortable and the room was comfortable overall. Was in a room that had a door that adjoined to the next room that seemed very thin. At 5am could hear the people in the adjoining room so clearly it sounded like they were in the room with me. TV remote did not work, and the clock had not been set for the current time. Most hotels will allow a 1hr late checkout . . . Not here! And noticed what appeared to be a small patch of mold in the bathroom.
The parking was on ground floor and convenient, glad we didn't have to go across the street. WE were able to walk around easily, room was clean but not drop dead gorgeous but nice. Staff VERY friendly and accommodating. I agree with breakfast issue. Reminded me of the free breakfasts at other chains. I would not have paid $13 unless I had a per diem, was hungry and in a hurry.
The indoor pool is small , and on the cool side , but it was January.They are under construction,but it was quiet and is in NEED of updating .Clean , staff was super friendly,breakfast cafe is low quality,outdated,had the feel of a motel.Had I not got a great deal on this hotel,I would've been hugely disappointed.My Daughter goes to S.C.A.D ,So I've been to many hotels in the historic center,this is on the bottom of my list of places to stay.

I was not aware that the hotel was under construction. It was kid of a mess and I wouldn't have booked a reservation for our anniversary here if o had know that. I was pretty disappointed.
The coffee maker Desk staff rude. Renovation took over the complete hotel - our hallway on 5th floor, temporary lobby nasty, Madison room terrible. Such a hotel should not be charging for a breakfast pastry esp under these conditions. Cleaning staff did not address our room at all. Bed too soft. Live and learn - the hard way
Great location, lovely and helpful staff, clean rooms Half of hotel was undergoing renovation, and while they maintained a fairly clean and quiet atmosphere, walking into a hall rented with plastic and filled with power tools was a bit unsettling. Travelers ought to be advised of such things prior to booking...and given a steeper discount.
It was nice being in a busy commercial area. We were not told of many maintenance projects occurring during our stay. Location right off the end of Army Air field was not mentioned anywhere. One night a giant plane took off right over room very very low every five minutes. While we could not really hear this in the room with the air and tv on....it was very unnerving.
Very nice overall just the usual. Thin walls don't know why they build hotels like that. Great staff clean & comfortable. Good breakfast.

The hotel we usually stay at in this area, raised their price more than $20 for a week night, and after staying there for several years, refused to pay that. Kayak helped us find this hidden gem, and we will be staying here again. Wish breakfast was open longer. Week days it ends at 9, and after a late night of enjoying Savannah, it's too early. The weekend cut off at 10 is much better.
Rooms were well kept and comfortable. It had the microwave and refrigerator. However, I would love to have a freezer section for a refrigerator, which was not there at least in my room. Would recommend it. A nice overall family experience. The serving area for breakfast was too crowded and small. It would be nice if they can increase the breakfast area.
Clean and everything worked fine Jets fly close overhead at all hours. It is at the end of an airport runway.
For the money I paid it was a decent hotel. They say there is free hbo and show time which there is and they have hdtv's in the rooms, but the picture quality is worse than my old tube tv from the 80's. There is also a military base nearby so after 9am there are helicopters and planes flying directly overhead which makes it difficult to sleep past 9 if you've had a late night downtown.
The staff was so great. We were there for a race, and they did all they could to accommodate us, and went above and beyond in customer service.
I thought the hotel was fine if you need inexpensive lodging. Easy drive downtown and when we had an issue with the TV someone came up in a few minutes to fix it, Overall the room seemed clean except the floors. It was clear that no one had swept behind the bathroom door or vacuumed by the vanity. Also, the don't have the SEC network.

The location is great. The staff is generally nice and friendly. Never replace our shower ropes during our 5 days stay. The bathroom floor is not clean. The mattress and pillows are way to soft and I sinked into the matress. Every morning the staff will keep banging and closing the doors for supply closest and every room while they clean . It's extremely rude and unprofessional.
The staff are great. The location is also great. The complimentary beverages (not the alcohol) were a nice feature. The terrace with pool and fire pit is nice. I would definitely stay there again. The housekeeping was fine but could have been a little bit better. Didn't leave clean towels one of the days we stayed. The fitness center is a little small.
The room was beautiful and stylish. The bed was so big and soft, I had to literally roll out of it. The staff was incredibly courteous. The continental breakfast included in my package was unlike anything I had ever seen. So many wonderful food options, and all of it was delicious! I look forward to my next stay there.
The hotel staff was great. I was quite surprised with the level of service. It struck me as being on the level of a much more expensive hotel.

Hotel, room and grounds were neat and clean. Staff were friendly and courteous and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Good value for the price charged. The only complaint I have is the coffee tasted like instant coffee.
It appears as if people above me (3rd floor) loved there and did not care about their surroundings. Constant door slamming , stomping - did not let me sleep!
The location of the hotel was right in between of where I needed to be. Rooms need a bit of maintaining. Bathroom walls had been patched over 10 times in the shower alone. Mold was a small issue but house keeping was trying to clean it but it was there so long it wasnt going nowhere.
It was very nice to have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker . Nice pillows and air conditioner worked well. Good parking. The breakfast area was also nice. We had blinds but no curtains with a window to a lighted walkway. We would have liked more than two towels and warmer blankets. There were several hairs that weren't ours. The carpet was very sticky and black seemed to be coming off the pattern on it. I think the humidity in Savannah might contribute to that. Staff seemed kind of distracted and tired but nice.

This was my first time staying in Savannah somewhere that wasn't off the interstate, and it was nice to drive through Savannah to get to the hotel. It made it feel closer to downtown even tho it's about a 20 minute drive. It's a good value hotel that gives you everything you need if you're a budget traveler. It would be nice if they somehow let you know that the first two floors have outside doors and the third floor has inside corridors. Luckily, I was put on the third floor, as I vastly prefer inside corridors, but some people might like to know. The only other thing is that the coffee is permanently in the lobby, which is nice, but I couldn't find it at breakfast in the morning. Might be nice if they put up a little note telling you it's available in the next room.
Hotel was safe & clean. Location was perfect for the price. 5min Uber ride to Historic District and walk the rest. The bathroom was a closet w/no ventilation. Had to shower with door open. Fitness center was small & the equipment was in poor condition.
Room was safe. Bathrooms were clean. Breakfast is decent. There are limited stairs & elevators available. Room service is not 24/7, so we had to change our own sheets. Room numbers are split into Odd & Even. Not sure if I'm a fan of that.
The room price My room was not great. Worst was the mold growing on the wall by the shower. The mattress was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs pushing out the side of the mattress as you laid on it. The furniture in the room was eclectic or disjointed. It didn't go well together. Seems like the owners mean well trying to provide affordable pricing but I would not recommend this place.
The staff is wonderful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The breakfast is above and beyond. A wonderful variety for all ages and diets. The scrambled eggs and sausage are always a nice surprise. Last, parking is never a problem; plenty of room for everyone. There is nothing we didn't like. Everything at this new Baymont is wonderful.
Excellent location for the price. Love the preserved history. Tubby's was an excellent on-site restaurant. The staff was very helpful. Maybe extend the bar services and times. We'll be back to stay again! The public restrooms were in need of attention but not bad considering the river street location
Beautiful charm in prime location. Staff is friendly as well. Overall great stay. Slightly too dirty for my liking (blood on the toilet seat, floor didn't appear clean, shower curtain dirty on inside as well). Also...they will stick to their 4pm check in time. We arrived around noon and was told the it was going to be several hours until the room was clean despite confirming through Kayak that my arrival would be between noon and one pm. They did accommodate my request for top floor, but could have cleaned a room and called as soon as it was ready.
I love the historic nature of the hotel. My room was very nice and I felt like I was staying in a room of a historic mansion. The bed turn down service with sweets left on your bed is a nice touch. Also enjoyed the wine and cheese reception in the lounge every evening. No free parking. You have to park in public parking which costs $15 a day. Walls of rooms are very thin so you can hear every bump and bang in the rooms next to you. Was not impressed with the shower...the water pressure was not good.

Loved the location and the history of the hotel. Robes were suppose to be standard in every room, but we did not have them.. I requested robes to be sent to our room, but they were never delivered. Also there is suppose to be a turn down service that is standard, but we didn't receive that either .
Thus hotel was close to everything. The historic atmosphere and tastefully finished rooms and period style decor was easy on the eyes. It feels like you are part of this lovely southern city. Convenient and xcellent restaurants, friendly service, reasonable rates, gorgeous. It's and comfortable clean rooms. What more could you want? Oh, and a lovely gratis private cocktail hour with wine, cheese, quail and more made dinner unnecessary!
This is my 6th time staying at the River Street Inn...every time I stay there, I love it even more. This was a last minute, one night trip and I got a great deal; I was even upgraded to a river view room! Normally I prefer modern hotels, however, I love the charm, character and history of the River Street Inn. The rooms are clean and comfy and the staff is always friendly! You can't beat the location of RSI, just park your car and walk everywhere. I love the chocolate candy they put on your pillows every night and the wine and cheese social in the evenings is an added bonus! (my stay this weekend was on a Sunday, so I didn't get that perk...wish it was EVERY evening)I have stayed at several other hotels in Savannah in the past, and now there is nowhere else I'll stay except for the River Street Inn. Thank you for another GREAT experience this past Sunday y'all!
Location was right on River Street. The rooms were clean enough. I liked the atmosphere, it felt very historic. Our room was right next to the ice maker, and the noise kept us up. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable.
Staff was very friendly. The doorman, Chris was extremely friendly and accommodating. Location is excellent. We were on a tight schedule and we're not able to get into our room until 4:45, 45 minutes after check in time. That ended up causing us to cancel dinner reservations. Cleaning staff was extremely loud and we were unable to take an afternoon nap because of this. We were able to hear every footstep and movement from adjacent rooms and floors which became extremely annoying.
I loved the location, the feel, the cleanliness, the staff, and the cost of this hotel. When we asked for more towels, coffee, etc, they delivered quickly. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is beautiful, and has that antique, but not dirty, feel. I would love to stay again.
Only gripe is with parking during check in.

The staff couldn't have been more gracious and accommodating. Complimentary wine and cheese social for 2 hours in the evening. Free breakfast in the morning. The room was very comfortable and clean.
Location is great. Free bottle of water is a nice benefit. Social hours and friendly staff. Bed was not very comfortable and seemed to tilt slightly so that your feet were higher than your head.
Did some sightseeing Yes, the fact that when we got there they said they were full and didn't have any rooms for us. I specifically booked online and then called and spoke to Alex so he would hold 2 queen rooms for me. We were delayed at least an hour. They eventually put us in rooms since I had all my paperwork but I had to make a point and don't like doing that.

The staff was really friendly, all over us as far as customer service comes. They could not find our reservation at first, but after 10 minutes it appeared. Then they weren't sure they could get us into 2 queen room, but they eventually found one. I think they were all still learning the system, they had only been open for 2 weeks.
The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located in the historic district and within easy walking distance to many sights. Our room was was very comfortable and clean.
The hotel was lovely. We are already planning a trip back later this fall and will stay longer if we can get a good rate.

The staff was incredibly helpful and personable. The decor was beautiful and we loved our room (although I will try for room 421 next visit). The housekeeper assigned to our room did not do a great job. When we arrived our floors were not well swept and she left an empty drink cup on the night stand.

Is a nice classic hotel with history with large amount of stories, has a lot of caratehtere , nice staff, bar, restaurante and concierge, best location in town , So noisy that at 7 you are up impossible to sleep beyond that time, terrible breakfast, no minibar and the bathroom very nice but if you have not worked at the circle du soleili impossible to have a shower or climb in to the bath.

From entering the stunning lobby to the beautiful room, everything was wonderful! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The complimentary breakfasts were served in a sunny and comfortable room, one of my favorite features of the hotel. Located at the center of the historic district, it is the perfect location to begin the historic walks and tours. And being in walking distance of many great restaurants and pubs was really fun for us. The on-site gourmet restaurant/bar provided a perfect end to the day. This was the best hotel stay we've ever experienced! It did not have a gift shop.
The breakfast in the sun room was wonderful. The staff was very nice and helpful. Also the wine and cheese in the afternoon was wonderful. Yes. When I first checked in my room down that long hallway on the 3rd floor I got a very uncomfortable feeling. After finding out that this hotel was a stop on all the tours including the ghost tours I grew even more uncomfortable. Please stop the tour buses from stopping in front of the hotel for their stop to tell about the hotel full of ghosts.
I really liked the soft beds and comfortable pillows. Breakfast was lackluster.
The room was full of character and the bed was so comfy! The location was within walking distance to the rstaurants and night life. None-we loved it!
Kelly who worked at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. She immediately made us feel at home. I will definitely return to the Eliza Thompson House -- such a special place!
All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The front desk staff seemed to show a genuine interest in our day or plans to come, Kelly always mentioned other ideas or have her view of ours. We will definitely be staying here again.
Location is great. Quiet and secluded, but easy walk to city center. Warm and welcoming staff. Very pleasant gathering room and garden courtyard. Guestrooms somewhat small, but comfortable. On your own for on-street metered (during weekdays) parking.
You can't beat the location or the omelet chef! He's just awesome. The staff is friendly and professional. The a/c was super noisy. A maintenance man came up immediately and said he has heard quieter buzz saws! 10 minutes later, he fixed it. Problem was, his fix left me with virtually no a/c! Had to ask for new batteries for the t.v. remotes. Housekeeping should check to make sure the remotes work, not the guest. Bathroom fan goes on automatically. Nice feature, but it runs too long. Mainly little, but annoying issues, except the a/c.
Staff helped the best they could but had to change rooms and the AC never got the room below 76 degrees in either room. Location
This is a true one of a kind boutique hotel. Wonderfully quirky, beautiful architecture and interior design. Well trained and attentive staff. Phenomenal bar and restaurant. So much more wow factor than the newer Kessler properties like the Bohemia brand. My biggest gripe with all 5 star properties (not just Kesslers) is the higher the price point the more they "al a carte" basic services such as parking, internet service, in room amenities, and "resort fees". These surprise upcharges ruin what other wise would be an excellent experience. As a recently retired traveler these charges more often than not discourage me from being a repeat customer. OK, I get paying for parking at say "The Waldorf" in NYC. Most guests don't drive there. But $22/night to park behind the building on their own property at The Mansion is absurd. And $10 for WIFI? Really? Get a grip. We're not all travelling on OP money anymore.
Than mansion itself is stunning. Beautiful decor, art, loved the room. We stayed for a week & our keys had to be replaced 5 times in that week. There were no comps or anything even offered for all of our issues with the room keys. I thought we should have been offered some sort of severance for the problems that we had. For that, I was disappointed. Also the food we ordered from room service was very overpriced & not flavorful. We had a salad & a sandwich, which was $50 & they forgot my dressing. The menu, at least for room service, was unimpressive.
The property itself is very cool - chandeliers, marble, velvet furniture, modern art, sculptures everywhere. The location is also great in that you're about a mile or so to the main dining/shopping area. The service here is terrible but I'm under the impression it's terrible everywhere in Savannah, not just here. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it's a southern thing. Nevertheless, we paid 5 star prices to stay here (by southern standards) and expected 5 star service. The staff failed in this area, HARD. Examples: they didn't set up the sparkling wine service we ordered for arrival; they screwed up our room service order (literally, I ordered plain pasta with red sauce and they couldn't understand my order, so I got pasta drenched in butter); we requested a trash can several times before giving up; we had to request more toilet paper, tissues, coffee creamer, stirrers, etc., because housekeeping didn't leave it. Come on. On a side note, the amenities here are really low end. I didn't bring any shower products thinking what they'd provide would be sufficient. I ended up buying some cheap travel size things from CVS because the products here are even worse than drug store quality. This hotel needs to do a better job of staff training if it wants to be a lux hotel. As it stands right now, I've had better service at a Hampton Inn.
I have lived in Savannah all of my life and am a current New York City transplant. I had recently come home to visit my family and decided to stay at the mansion. The hotel was gorgeous - a mixture of old southern charm and the MET. The staff was also great. Very pleasant and met my every need. I would definitely stay here again if I got another chance
Great location in a great city Concierge was pretty much useless. Couldnt make his computer work and tried to get us to eat only at their bar.
The Mansion opened right before I left Savannah and I have been wanting to stay there ever since! It definitely did not disappoint. The room had a view of the park and was beautifully appointed (the bathroom was spectacular). The restaurant was as good as remembered and one of my favorites- it has the look and feel people go to the Pink House for but with better food. The entire hotel and restaurant just felt very 'Savannah'- romantic and haunting. The staff was charming and friendly and I especially loved being surrounded on all sides by art! Not much not to like. I wish there was a free parking option (valet was great - friendly and accommodating) but steeply priced for the area (especially as it is their own parking lot right behind the building). Also, have never been to a 4-5 star hotel that did not have free wifi.
Staff was amazing, breakfast was wonderful plus they had cheese and and wine and a late night snack in the freezer(ice cream) each night. Some rooms had old carpet that smelled but they were very accommodating when we asked to switch. We then got hard wood floors and it was great.
the front desk staff was awesome, the laundry was an added bonus and the parking was great!
Modern decor. Hotel mailed me the shirt I forgot in the closet! Shower was under powered.
We love this hotel and decided to stay even though there was construction taking place. Our room was out of the sound of the construction but the lobby! Oh MY! We had no idea. Jackhammers as we walked in. Deafening. And the breakfast was in 2 small, crowded spaces, instead of the lovely lobby where it usually is. See the other side.
It was all modern/contemporary and designed very unique. Lobby was really cool. Complimentary breakfast was AMAZING--- we chose the hotel because it was included (which is hard to come by in that area) and it did not disappoint! Parking was $20 per day with the hotel valet. But there was a parking deck right next door that was only $5, so we parked there instead.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Location was okay for us. Hotel was undergoing renovations. Bathroom doors in the room did not close. Had to go through three rooms to find one that was acceptable, but even then the room we were in had issues. Not enougbsestingfor breakfast people were sitting on the floor in the hallways eating.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and functional. Pretty centrally located and walking distance to anything downtown that you'd want to see or do. The only time we got a cab was to/from the airport and to bonaventure cemetary. The restaurant was good and the bar was a nice hangout at night (bar closes at midnight for some reason). No ghost stories from us. Lots of creaks and noises from the hallway and other rooms, but that's to be expected from a place this old.

They do have a parking lot if you have a car. - Water pressure was excellent. - Lounge is frequently visited by locals and tours alike. - Experience something on the first night. - Definitely will stay here again and will recommend to friends and family. - Ceiling light tends to shake when there are people walking above but that's a given since its an historical inn.
We drove 6 hours to hotel and booked a month in advance, had comfirmation #and all. They cancelled out reservations without telling us and had no rooms left and neither did the area. Ended up with no choice but to sleep in our car. WORST HOtEL EVER!!!!
I liked that it was very close to the historic river district and the building was beautiful. I did not like that they did not have our reservations.
A little crowded at breakfast; The location is out of the way; but I chose it for the price.
Breakfast included. Employees in lobby were very nice. Was not told the hotel was under renovation. Paid WAY too much for this stay. Rooms were small. Only one mirror in the whole room. Not suitable for families. Banging and pounding. Unfinished elevator. Air in room was very inconsistent. We were either very hot or very cold. In the top 5 of most disappointing hotels we've stayed at.
Comfortable bed with wonderful, friendly staff. We enjoyed the social reception and hot breakfast was a good value with the room: We had to stay in a strange interior room with no real window or daylight. The wifi did not work and we racked up a lot of data use on our phone since we could not connect. They allow dogs to stay at what seems like a very nice hotel. It is disruptive to hear dogs barking when you are trying to relax. Also, as someone who is highly allergic it was hard to stay in a place with pets and dander. Had I known ahead of time that they allow pets, I would have likely picked a different hotel.
It was a pleasant stay. Did not get the type of room I expected. Wanted a king got a double. Not hotels fault. Rather the booking agent, Bookings.com. Vehicle was broken into and police informed us it was a regular occurance. Hotel front desk denied knowledge of that fact.
Not much at all The Room was quite small & had an unpleasant odor (musty) went & bought some air freshener this cured the problem. Unfortunately that night realized that we were under a generator of some sorts--I didn't get much sleep, what with the constant howl. Was informed that the hotel was fully booked for Halloween, we couldn't be relocated. (3) nights, hardly any sleep in a somewhat dated room that needs a refurb!! NOT impressed at all--will NEVER use Staybridge again. Even the Manager, when possible to locate staff was in my face like he wanted trouble.
The beds were comfortable. Breakfast included. Lots of good restaurants, sight seeing, and nightlife within walking distance. Rooms were too small to be considered a suite. There was no pool--Savannah is too hot to not have a pool for relaxing! The AC made the room freezing when it was on but the room was hot as soon as the AC cycled off. Too expensive for what you get, but seems to be on par for the area.
The complimentary breakfast was very good, the atmosphere warm and helpful,and overall it was quite welcoming and pleasant. The "comforter" on the bed was made of some plastic-feeling synthetic
This hotel is located very near everything. The river walk is right across the street. Bring your walking shoes, this city is a walking city, which is what I loved. The concierge is fantastic. Friendly and helpful. The kitchenette could use an update.
The room was very nice and clean upon arrival. The breakfast in the morning and the cocktail reception at night were nice. The beds were never made the entire 4 days of our stay and the coffee was replenished only on 1 day. We know someone had been in the room because clean towels were left everyday. Other than towels being left the maid service was non-existant.Although we did see one at the end of the hall everyday when we left our room.
