Pros: Wonderful surprise as it is hard to suspect this beautiful hotel from the outside. Very peaceful and quiet, dinner was good and personnel was eager to help us in every way possible.
Pros: Excellent staff, truly do their best to help with everything.
Cons: Expected more from the property based on photos and reviews. Not bad for a night stay.
Pros: My fiancé and I arrived here by bicycle from Agra, on the way to Alwar. The property is an incredible hidden gem in a small village a few km from the main road. The welcome drink and cold flannel was perfect. The suite (room 203) was stunning (complete with marble floors with embedded semi-precious stones representing the same technique seen at the Taj Mahal) and the food amazing. The aloo gobi was the best curry we have ever had - anywhere in the world. The staff were so friendly and made the stay perfect for us - Pustpinder was particularly great and we would like to say a big thank you to him. I couldn’t recommend this place enough as a getaway as you travel from city to city. Interestingly, the place used to be owned by Benazir Bhutto’s grandfather.
Pros: lovely hotel, good staff and food. Would return and stay again
Pros: The curry was really nice but the best was the staff. They were extremely helpful and readily available and courteous.
Pros: The hotel itself is fantastic: good infrastructure, elegant decoration (a good mix between modern and classic), comfort of the rooms, the exquisite gardens. On top of that, the staff is always there for you in a kind and helpful way. Finally, the little village where the hotel is situated is a must see if you want to have a flavor of rural India. We had a little tour guided by one of the staff members and it became one of the strongest memories of our stay in India.
Cons: It is just a suggestion: since the hotel is situated in a remote place (mostly accessible by car) it may be useful to have some facilities for drivers only
Pros: The building and grounds were really beautiful and well taken care of. The pool was so refreshing during the heat of the day, and the food in the restaurant was good. There are lots of parrots and peacocks that visit the property and there were very few guests, so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. I would definitely recommend it for one night if you're traveling between Jaipur and Agra.
Cons: This place is so close to being great, but so awkward in many ways. The first day there were two tour groups that came to the property for lunch, but it totally ruined the atmosphere of the place. The restaurant in general was lacking in atmosphere, high ceilings, bright lights, stone walls, and no music. I also felt the restaurant was really expensive, and they know you don't have any other options. After taxes (40%) three cans of soda cost 462 rupees, the most expensive we saw anywhere in India. They were also charging 110 plus tax for bottles of water that cost 20 rupees in a shop and 40 or maybe 60 at most in any other hotel. It's still cheaper than what we pay back home, but it dampened the experience to know they were squeezing pennies out of you. We also spend most of the day by the pool and asked numerous times to turn on the jets/filter as there were lots of bugs and dust on the surface (lots of bees which we got stung by) but after 20 minutes of running the filtration system they turned it back off again. If you have a guest sitting by the pool and using it, just leave the pool on, how much can it cost? The staff were also just clueless. We had to ask for towels and drinks etc. We were the only people there and saw at least a dozen staff. Someone should give towels to people who sit by the pool, and come out periodically to offer drinks. I don't expect it everywhere I go but in a 'resort' I think I can expect better service. The property is also set in the middle of a village, so you hear kids shouting and tractors driving right past as you're trying to have a quiet day by the pool. We walked around the village one evening and were aggressively approached by swarms of young kids asking us for candy, and were grabbing our arms and hitting us as we walked. In general it just wasn't a very welcoming place.
Pros: What an amazing place! We were welcomed with wet towels to freshen up and received a free upgrade, which was highly generous. The rooms were incredible. We felt like Maharadjas! Our every wish was fulfilled and the food was delicious. As we left early to go and visit the nearby bird park, we were given a complimentary packed breakfast. We were allowed to move our check-out time from 10am to 11 am in order to visit the park at our leisure and enjoy the lovely breakfast upon our return. The children had a great time in the swimming pool watching some monkeys and other wildlife. We loved the private courtyards in front of our rooms, the layout and ambience of the hotel. If you can, visit this fantastic hotel! It was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip.

Cons: Breakfast spread left much to be asked for
Pros: Courteous staff, good food, neat n clean room, special mention to the evening entertainment programme , the singer was too good
Cons: On the first floor verandas, the one step down should have a hazard tape as my husband had a bad fall there
Cons: Hot water availablity
Pros: The ambience . It feels like living in a palace . The decor of the rooms is superb . We had five rooms , each done in a different style and all very tastefully .The rooms are extra large . The staff is very courteous and helpful. Grounds are very clean . The dining hall is nothing short of grandiose .
Cons: Wifi signal pretty average . But who goes there for wifi .
Pros: evry think
Pros: We stayed in a room in the old hotel, which was lovely - like something out of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Huge room, old pictures on the wall, vintage furniture. It was really perfect for our stay. We ate in the restaurant in the new hotel next door, in a huge beautifully painted room. The food was good,.
Cons: The electrics! Very worrying.... lol
Pros: The property is beautiful & feels very royal
Cons: The time restrictions on breakfast, lunch & dinner are horrible. They in no manner meet the leisure or tourist timings. The place is known for bird sanctuary but the breakfast timing is 6:30am to 9:30am only & you can never be back from bird sanctuary but to end up paying it without eating it. The dinner is also only till 9:30pm, all that they want is the guests having early dinner & go to sleep. They don't even have in-room dining service. The staff is straight & curt to tell you in the face about the time restrictions & adhere to it, they refuse to bend &/or show a lot of resistance, seems like the management/owners are very strict/hard on them for timing compliance. Apart from the food/restaurant part the staff is very nice & courteous. They seem to be only bothered or catering to foreign guests as the restaurant timing part is not suited or adjustable to Indian visitors/guests at all.
Pros: There was no additional items except for water Even basic toiletries like toothbrush etc was only provided on request
Located in Bharatpur, The Bagh is within a 10-minute drive of Keoladeo National Park and Salim Ali Museum. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The ambience was good
Pros: Excellent and very helpful staff
Cons: Rooms orientation and placement could be better given such and expansive property
Pros: Very quiet and beautiful
Pros: The ambience
Cons: Nothing much
Pros: Very peaceful and relaxed. Staff very helpful and any issues dealt with quickly and effectively by Management and General Management. SPA Manager was really professional and helpful.
Cons: We arrived at the hotel very late so we could not enjoy the garden which was very nice. Room ok but not outstanding. A Lot of noise at night.
Pros: It’s not often you can spend time in a former orchard and residence of a Maharaja. With peacocks and extensive tropical gardens this is as a romantic getaway as you will find. The large colonial style rooms, the marble floor restaurant all hark back to a more gracious time. Certain areas have aged but that adds to the beauty of this place. The pool, although shallow, was clean and the food freshly cooked and delicious. My wife said that the nan bread was the best she had tasted in India.
Cons: The sprawling nature of the residence meant WiFi only in reception but this was a small price to pay for a unique hotel experience.
Pros: So relax
Cons: The network is terrible
Pros: Breakfast was good! I believe this is the best place to stay in Bharatpur, amazing location.
Cons: The dinner buffet could have more non-veg varieties.
When you stay at The Birders Inn in Bharatpur, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Keoladeo National Park and Salim Ali Museum. This hotel is 30.6 mi (49.2 km) from Prem Mandir Vrindavan and 31.1 mi (50.1 km) from Banke Bihari Temple.
Rooms have private balconies. Bathrooms with bathtubs are provided.
Pros: the location was very good and so were the facilities.
Cons: ala carte was not available for dinner and we were forced to have the buffet which was not according to our taste.
Cons: Location on main road.
Pros: After a week in New Delhi, it was a respite coming here to recharge our batteries!! Peaceful, relatively clean, relatively low level of pollution by tuk tuks, etc Close to the Bird Sanctuary, which we visited, despite not being a fan of sanctuaries per se.. Buffet breakfast was good and we could order things like porridge or eggs made diffferently to self serve selection. Staff very willing to help by and large. Lovely seating area outside the restaurant, great for afternoon tea... Laundry came back washed and pressed within a few hours! (with paper in between the folds of the shirts!
Cons: Had an issue with Hot water - got resolved. Inadequate cleaning of rooms on departure of previous guests- Food in fridge from previous occupant (assumption - plate with stale cake was stuck to the tray so could have been there ages!! Plus some orange juice cartons...we only found out about this as I checked all cupboards etc prior to departure)... Lovely coffee machine (with beans in grinding section) to entice Europeans/coffee connoisseurs ...but what was delivered hardly tasted like "real coffee" as we know it!!
Pros: The property was located very close to the Keoladeo National Park - we got excellent rickshaw tour guides right outside the property. A staff member also mentioned how the rickshaw staff are trained (excellently- by the way!) for the tour of the park, and would highly recommend going with them as opposed to the tour guides for a guided route through the park.
Cons: The food at the property was fairly average and could have been much better.
Pros: Charming small hotel, with pleasant garden and small clean swimming pool, close to the bird sanctuary, entrance 400m away, Excellent helpful friendly staff, and clean comfortable room. Though hotel close to main road, traffic noise inaudible from most rooms. Food excellent both at breakfast and for other meals, though you may need to ask what else is available besides what is on the menu. Beer also available.
Cons: Coffee machine serving good quality coffee, but not always available. N.B: We did not encounter any mosquitoes in Rajasthan until we stayed here, so close to the bird sanctuary with its many pools (not hotel's fault of course but worth knowing).
Pros: Food, location
Cons: Room sizes to be bigger
Pros: Staff were all very friendly and professional. The hotel gardens and room were lovely - well tended and peaceful despite the rather chaotic environment outside. Food was really excellent - a highlight. All meals very tasty. Air con in the room was powerful. Very large bed and well equipped room, tastefully decorated.
Cons: The rental bicycles were not in very good working order - they should invest in new ones. The pool was cloudy with algae growths - it needs to be tended to much better. I realize an outdoor pool in a tropical environment is difficult to maintain, but as it is, one would never use that pool. There was basically no hot water in the room (not a problem in summer but would be an issue in winter.) Internet worked but was a bit on the weak side.
Pros: Very clean and green property
Cons: No mosquito treatment done
Pros: Room & location is very good
Cons: No hot water and minor leaks in bathroom. Breakfast could be better
Pros: Lovely little hotel close to Keoladeo National Park- very pretty gardens with lots of birdlife. We would stay again!
Pros: Food poor. Staff never smiled and seemed ill at ease when owner on site during day. Property run down and not like pictures on booking.com.
Cons: No maintenance of property so falling apart. Bathrooms worst as everything leaks/broken. Would never stay again.

Cons: Could be a little bit of more cleanliness.... backyard area Min soap kit should be provided....
Pros: Relax , clean , good food , location staff
Pros: Living in real green garden in the middle of Indian city
Pros: Location Homely
Pros: We really loved our stay at jungle Lodge, with our 2 children (8 and 2) ! It is so quiet, nice, comfortable... The warm welcome by Ashok and his wife make you feel immediately at home. It is very near the National Park. The garden is really enjoyable, you already get to meet a few birds there. And the jasmin flowers are just a wonder ;-) The food is great, and the friendly atmosphere makes it totally easy and natural to meet the other guests around a nice thali or tea. Thanks Ashok for the lovely stay, we'll do come again ! ;-)
Pros: We stayed 11 nights overall and loved the kindness and attention shown by Ashok and his wife Indu, loved the food, the outside space, and the flow of interesting guests from around the world.
Pros: Very quiet and peaceful homestay, the owners are very helpful and smiling. The food is super good direct from the garden.

The rooms are equipped with amenities like bathroom with hot/colf running water facility.front desk-limited hours, room service-24 hours, are a few of the conveniences offered at Royal Guest House in Bharatpur.
Pros: Washroom.is very very clean , and spacious and it is near by railway station with sharing auto by only 20 rupees. And also.pocket friendly
Cons: They should be more specific on check out time. I feel strange when the reception asked checked out at morning 7 am.although i arrived at 11 pm.last night. I suggest be specific about check.out time before hand you arrived the hotel.
Pros: Very friendly hosts, homely feel.
Cons: Shower was a bit of a dribble.
Pros: Family run guest house with helpful staff. Very close (walkable distance) from the bird sanctuary, although a bit far from the train station.
Cons: Not a lot of comfort and a lot of mosquitoes.
Pros: There was someone already waiting for us at the time of our arrival. We got an extremely friendly reception and a small tour around the building. We were put at ease regarding meals, as the owner said they would go according to our needs and schedules. It’s worth mentioning that the food was superb. We got to know the rest of the family and spend some time together at their amazing terrace. The location is pretty great. Several local shops near by and a 10 mim walk to the Bird Sactuary. Both rail station and bus terminal are reachable by a quick Tuk Tuk ride.
Cons: There were some mosquitos but that’s not a situation related to the accommodation itself but Bharatpur in general.
Pros: Very nice home stay, this is run by a family in there home. 10 minute walk to Keoladeo national park. They were very welcoming, helpful and provided us with lovely food! (The eggs at breakfast were amazing)
Pros: Clean house with a very responsive owner
Cons: The surrounding area is filthy. Also no decent or clean restaurants nearby. Eating at home is not an option if you want to leave early in the morning to catch birds in the sanctuary.
Pros: Traveling with a bicycle so ground floor is the best. Quiet place & not far from the city center. Very shower and bed.
Pros: Peaceful Location, Cleanliness of linen, washrooms, cordial, helpful nature of manager
Cons: nothing to mention
Pros: Location and house owner nice people.
Cons: No food arrangements. No room service. No one was there in the reception entire day. Whome to ask for water and lunch, dinner????
Pros: This guest house has two spaces : one on the countryside in the farm and one near the center. Both brothers and families are very kind and helpful and very involved în their welcoming. It was nice to be there.Thanks.

Pros: The garden is a very nice surounding, and the room was big with clean sheets. The location is absolutely perfect.
Cons: I wasn't overwhelmed by their restaurant and I think the owner was a bit too much. The set-top-box was not working. Also BEWARE THE MOSKITOES!!! take spray with you!!
Pros: Great location Parking Few different options for breakfast Very nice staff Hot shower
Cons: Room was smelly No comfort No decoration whatsoever
Pros: Room is very big and clean, big and comfortable bed, garden and balcony are very nice, quiet nights
Cons: Wifi and tv not working, shower had very low pressure, food is average
Pros: Very helpful staff, and a nice courtyard area.
Cons: A little noisy.
Pros: We stayed in room number 10 on ground floor. The accommodation is highly comfortable and at a short distance from the monuments. Our check in and check out were extremely pleasant and food was delicious. Rooms are super clean and there was no noise or disturbance at night. There is a young boy namely Sonu (if I am right!) in the restaurant who always surprised us with a sweet smile and good service. This is the best and most decent play to spend a couple of nights in Fatehpur Sikri and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Fatehpur Sikri
Cons: Cleaning and bed
Pros: Great helpful attitude of the staff.
Cons: Bathroom could have been cleaner.
Pros: room is very small bed is not good I feel uncomfortable in sleeping. Bathroom is not good. Bathroom gate not working.
Pros: Clean room and comfortable but best of all was its location. Just below the main sites and only 2mins walk!
Cons: The room was quite expensive compared to other similar hotels we have stayed at and the menu too was expensive compared to other local restaurants. Wifi didnt work.
Pros: The staff was excellent.
Cons: Facilities in the room could be improved a little

Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: 1. Historic setting and truly authentic old rustic charm 2. Delicious food 3. Good natured and friendly host (Saurabh)
Cons: 1. Poorly lit, the place felt gloomy especially at night 2. Poor accommodation facilities (electric kettle not working, broken geyser, tv not working, No natural lighting in room, missing toiletries ) 3. Exuberantly expensive food 4. Untrained staff , huge delays in service
Pros: Nothing we checked out early! And no offer of a refund.
Cons: We booked the Kings suite with a balcony view. .the balcony was more a ledge not big for a chair , the view brick rubbish and old chairs . The TV did not work ( given some story monkeys eat the line ) the shower did not work properly and was a trickle in a bucket. The place was dead no music and the Internet only worked in the courtyard. The food was OK but waited 45 min for a soup all our food came bit at a time so we never eat together and took 2.5 hours to get 2 course meal. Was booked in for two nights and left after the first night not even bothering to have breakfast. The is not a shabby chic palace it's a dump and we felt misleading! The staff of 6 were friendly but totally out of there depth trying to run a hotel. Now I know why they insist on payment up front and as we checked out the next day early there was no offer of a refund.
Pros: As the property is still being restored it was very interesting to wander around and see the original state vs the finished parts. The room was spacious. This also meant it felt less like a hotel and more like an actual home. Sitting in the courtyard in the evening for dinner was wonderful. Food, although a bit expensive, was very good and service was friendly.
Cons: The hotel was difficult to find, the locals did not know it. Ask for the museum and it is close by. Had a slight problem when asking for a small packed breakfast due to early departure, this did get sorted quickly and the breakfast was very nice.
Pros: The building is incredible - renovation over the ground and first floors and a ruin above. It was great exploring. So special. The staff were delightful - two young men who seemed to take care of everything - reception, waiting, room service, the restaurant. Couldn't have done more to make us comfortable. The food was the freshest and the best we tasted all week.
Cons: It was a bit Faulty Towers but we loved it! The welcome was sweet with garlands and smiles though no-one really seemed to be expecting us or know which room to send us to. There must have been a choice as the place was practically empty that day.
Cons: First of all, value for money. I had to pay an extra for my 10 years old daughter (as it was impossible to book for 1 adult and 2 children, then I had booked for 1 adult and 1 child). Even if I paid 3,000 INR extra for her (which is huge) they even did not give an extra bed, no extra towel, nothing. The last clients before us were 15 days before. You feel like in an haunted castle. No facilities, no pool, no Wifi, no blinds, just thin curtains, sheets not clean, welcome drink undrinkable. Even if we were only three in the whole palace, all the tables were set for breakfast since I do not know when. Of course all the plates had one millimeter dust in them. I ordered one coffee and it took 30 minutes to get a little teapot with hot water. As Nescafe sachets were already on the table... The staff does not speak english, except to say: you have to pay now. Yes you do not pay while checking out you pay as you arrive and you never get any invoice. Avoid this place, you will just finance the dream of the owner to rehabilitate his family palace at your expense.
Pros: Enjoyed staying in a historic building with many original features. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Cons: Would have been great if they told you more about the building history
Pros: The mix of modern comforts in a partially renovated palace and very attentive staff.
Cons: Better lighting and amenities in the bathroom. Some way of keeping shower water out of the rest of the bathroom
Pros: This was the first place I have ever been where they charge you fir kids under ten even when you don’t take an extra bed. You don’t even get a choice to dine. If they have a buffet you cant order a la carte and they don’t even have specific policy on which meal will be buffet and when you’ll have to oder a la carte. First day dinner is only buffet and second day when we went fir dinner with buffet in mind they said you’ll have to order a la carte. The place highly understaffed. Even a tea takes about thirty minutes.
Pros: Three brilliant nights in a truly authentic and historic building. Excellent food. Marvellous staff and management. Great musical entertainment. We shall return.
Cons: No complaints. We weren’t looking for the synthetic taste of international hotels.
Pros: The ambience and historic nature of the property. Staff were very attentive and the family owners friendly, inviting me to watch the Divali celebrations with them.
Cons: The bathroom floor flooded badly after my (hot) shower but I was given a small discount for this inconvenience.

This hotel in Bharatpur provides a restaurant to its patrons.In-room amenities include a television, bottled/drinking water, attached bathroom with hot and cold running water supply and a wardrobe.
Cons: Worst experience many time of distrib and ac not working and bathroom was very dirty
Pros: Staff were excellent. Tarun and Raju especially. Excellent fellows.
Cons: Funny pungent smell in all 3 rooms, blocked drains in bathroom, very old problematic Aircons, dirty sheets. Just gave a very dirty feeling all around the room. Probably isn't even that much of a Value for Money considering the poor quality of stay.
Pros: Good food well prepared
Cons: Rooms not clean Water supply in rooms not good Dirty rooms No backup or power if power fails Hot water was an issue
Pros: Everything was just perfect, what i wanted or expected. Staff is very much cooperative and good in behavior. Fresh and good quality of food was served to us in city spice restaurant. Restaurant name and interior was also very catchy. Hotel is situated on NH-2 and closed to Bird Sanctuary. We enjoyed a lot.
Pros: it was close to the bird sancuary
Cons: took over 2 hrs to check in and finally get the rooms we booked, NO communication between management and staff
Pros: Garden and the situated in highway. Even the food is excellent
Pros: Food was awesome. Close proximity to Keoladeo National Park.
Cons: Toilets are not really great in the rooms on the first floor. We later moved to a room on the ground floor which had a cleaner toilet.
Pros: Nice food and service and garden is also is very Good.hotel is close to bird sanctuary so we saw many. Birds in hotel premises,it was unforgettable moment we enjoyed our trip Morethan expectations.
Pros: The guy that runs the establishment couldn't be more serviceminded. He is so concernd that you will be comfortable at his establishment that it is incredible ! Twice he gave me a ride to a nearby restaurant on his motorbike, without asking for any financial compensation. He even offered me to lend his bike so that I could drive myself, to the restaurant ! He is, (as I understood it), well-known in the neighbourhood with (as I understood it), a good and respectable reputation, and that might be something appealing to solo female travellers. If I could, I would give this guy a 10 point rating only because of him, he was so nice and helpful. The hotel is ~ 100 meters from the trainstation, and an easy stroll to the main tourist attraction in Fatehpur Sikri. If I would go to Fatehpur Sikri, then I would, without any hesitation, choose to stay at this establishment again, and that manly because of the guy that runs it.
Cons: The Indian tourists don't have maners. Talking loudly and running in the corridor without any consideration about other guests. The warmwater for the shower didn't work (initially), but the guy who runs the establishment fixed that problem with a generator. The (hot) shower consisted of a bucket with hot water, but that works too. Otherwise there is a ordinary shower above the head, but only with cold water (and that's something you don't need in the winter in the north of India
