Nice old hotel, in a great spot. Lots of charm Too much charm, pretty grimy, dated carpet and such. No bell hops staff just attentive enough to get by. And the rooms, for this area, are expensive.
It appeared to be clean, however, the bathroom had a mildew/urine smell that really bothered me. Soap was complimentary, but the hotel didn't offer much else for courtesy (q tips, toothpaste, etc.).
For the price, the place was very dingy. The rooms/hallways were very loud beginning around 6am on a Sunday morning. Room was so hot I couldn't sleep. Brunch was disappointing. Glad I had the experience of staying here, but definitely will not be back.
We loved the scenic location, the history of the hotel, which is made evident everywhere, and the restful nature of the property. Food was good, too! Our room was a bit dark and could have used more lighting, and the bathroom could have used some TLC. The good parts outweighed this for us, though.
The bed wasn't comfortable. Firm spring/coil mattress. Whirlpool is in the middle of no where. No direct covered connection from premises to the whirlpool.
We enjoyed everything about the hotel. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The best part is its proximity to downtown.
An excellent hotel stay, a very clean & nice room, and reasonably priced. Easily walkable to downtown. The breakfast is great and is exactly what they say it is: a free real breakfast in an actual restaurant, not a quick bagel & coffee in a lobby. Plus, the folks were *extremely* pleasant. I'd highly recommend this one to anyone.
Location was great, walking distance to everything. The staff were very polite and helpful. Our first room smelled of mildew and we were quickly given another room. Our second room smelled like someone had used our bathroom right before we entered. We thought that smell would go away. It did not.
We requested a room with two double beds as there were three of us. When we checked in the did not have any rooms left with two double beds so for the same price we got two adjoining rooms one with a king one with a queen a sitting area with refrigerator microwave and jacuzzi! We were so excited!! It was just awesome!! We loved the breakfast and the staff were all so friendly! We watched the parade from a balcony and then went out for more fun The only problem was the day we were leaving they had a problem with the elevator but we survived the steps
The shuttle driver Friday (10/31) afternoon was extremely rude upon picking us up at the parking lot to take us to the hotel. But every shuttle driver after him was nice and helpful. Also all other staff members we're welcoming and great.
Loved that it is right downtown and historical. Because of the Historical Preservation requirements, this hotel has changed very little. The staff members were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Price was steep (even with Priceline) for small unlevel room with sink in the bedroom, but worth being downtown. And everything's musty in the rainy season :-).
Perfectly located in the middle of everything in downtown Eureka Speings. No need for a vehicle
Loved the history and especially the location. Perfect for what we were doing in Eureka Springs. Great food. Best onion rings on the planet. The entire staff was friendly and courteous. The place does need a face lift. But loved the old style of luxury hotel that it is. Also it is clean.
Staff were very polite and helpful, breakfast was perfectly acceptable Bed was terrible, probably the firmest mattress I have ever encountered, not only in hotels but in life in general
Breakfast was amazing. Staff was wonderful and accommodating.
The location was good for us and the facility was really clean. Very good continental breakfast and the check in process was simple. The bed was extremely hard and the ice machine was not working.
Decorated very modern and pretty. Easy to find and not far from down town.
Comfortable beds, decent size room. Friendly staff. Clean. Enough towels. Easy to find, convenient location. Nice pool, including a shaded picnic and grill area--a pleasant and unusual amenity for most motels. Good selection of coffee was nice. Food choices limited; could have few more nutritious items--non-sugary yogurt, better bread or cereal. Oddly, only one small, water-bottle type container with milk. Given the number of people, including children, and cereal as a main breakfast item, they should have a better way to serve. Too few tables--just 3--making finding a place to sit a little awkward. Did meet a nice European couple this way--they invited me and my son to join them, making a plus from a negative.
We feel we picked the best Inn. The location was in the center of town. It was simply beautiful! My kids enjoyed their stay there.
Clean, friendly and great location!
When we arrived Aaron took the time to speak with me about various kid friendly locations. He told me the history of the town and the very best restaurants that have the best prices and are kid/family friendly. It was a big help having a 2 year old. The hotel was clean in appearance as our room. The room did not smell like cigarettes like other hotels we have stayed in before. The pool was not open yet. I can understand why it was not open, but a sign would have been useful.
Maid service did not make beds every day, just replaced towels and emptied trash. Very spacious except the hanging rack in the master bedroom left clothes hanging very nearly on the bed itself. Just pastries and fruit for breakfast, no hot eggs or sausage.
It was very unique and full of beautiful antiques. The setting was gorgeous and very relaxing. Not a thing!
The managers were SO FRIENDLY!! I felt like I was at home the moment we arrived. The room was lovely and the building was just so beautiful. Definitely a hidden gem in Eureka Springs. We WILL be staying again. There is nothing I could complain about. Every detail was perfect.
The room was extremely clean, very low rate, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
Had a very clean room with everything working good.
The friendly staff was also efficient and helpful. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. The office staff gave us advice on restaurants and attractions and directions for finding them. Parking spaces were very narrow. An electrical outlet located more conveniently for plugging in a laptop would have been nice. We always carry an extension cord for such situations, so it didn't present a problem.
Clean, Beds were comfortable. Great price. Friendly staff Breakfast a bit spartan.
Very clean ...will stay again Lack of parking.... Out dated
We really liked the pool and game area. The staff was very friendly on all fronts. Our room was clean. This place is old school with a tasteful update. Value (for the most part) and convince to everything was a great plus. There should be a continental breakfast, but at least the coffee was free.
We enjoyed our stay very much !
The inn keepers Tom and Susan were excellent with providing ideas of places to see as this was our first time in Eureka Springs. The breakfasts were generous and a great variety. The Kingston Suite we stayed in was exceptional with our own private balcony that we were able to enjoy a bottle of wine while discussing our travels for the day. The Kingston Suite has a large two person Jacuzzi that was easy to use and a great treat. We have stayed in a lot of B & B s and this is now our favorite!
The hotel was very clean. We were told there was Starbucks coffee served in the office every morning. I don't think it was Starbucks - or maybe it was cut with something else. Our shower on Sunday morning was cold. Our friends also said their's was cold, too.
Our room was overlooking the woods in the back. You could not even tell the highway was in front.
Hotel employee was very helpful and gave good information. Getting on the highway is difficult at times.
The rooms were very clean and newly decorated. Fridge and microwave is a definite plus. The décor was attractive. Although I personally prefer firmer beds, they could seem hard for some. Lacked a breakfast, although coffee was provided.
Service was excellent and very helpful. Room was quiet for being on a main road Good access to all our needs
It was very clean and quiet. People very courteous . No complaints
The motel staff was very friendly and helpful. The lodge was very quaint. The only thing that we didn't care for was the lodge was right on the road so you could hear the traffic.
The owner was great! We need a wine opener not only did she loan use onne she loaned us glasses too! She allowed a very later check in which was great! The room was very clean. It is a beautiful area! No!

We were able to catch the trolly right outside our door to go downtown so we did not have to fight the parking. Everything was great!
Very hospitable and friendly service
The ease of check-in. Man at front desk was friendly and helpful. comfotable beds. clean. Awesome location. The heater/air conditioning unit was difficult to adjust. It was super sensitive but maybe Im just not used to using them. At least they worked :)
Cleanliness Everything was fine.
Friendly helpful staff!
Very friendly staff. Gave recommendations for dinner. (Which we took and we're glad we did.) Clean rooms. Good complimentary brkfst. Happy with our stay and would stay again.
Ok for the price Nothing fancy clean comfortable. next to no breakfast. manager was slow to answer. waited 10 min for him to show.
Location, cleanliness, outdoor seating, friendliness, great breakfast I did not like the strong fragrance in the room. Some kind of room freshener or incense. It was overpowering. Also too many decorations and "stuff" in room so no place for my items and it felt too crowded.
Owners terrific and very helpful!
The office staff was very polite and gave great advise and local activities. The bed was a bit hard for my liking.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Bed was a little soft for my taste and the shower a little low.
