There was a good Wi-Fi.
On arrival we were asked to remove our "muddy" shoes, leave them down stairs and walk bare foot. We did not do it as we came back from skiing and shoes were worn only in the car. Beds were terrible uncomfortable with old fashioned super heavy duvets. We could barely move under them. Breakfast very poor. Mainly the bread with butter, a bit of sausages and cheese, but no fresh vegetables or nay vegetables, few cut fruits. I think it was very poor and we ended up going to a nearby coffee shop.
We loved the salmon dinner Saturday night and the hearty breakfast Sunday morning. We drove to the Black Forest for this trip, but the train station is within walking distance. Good to know, because we're already planning our next weekend at Landhotel Bierhaeusle.
I honestly can't think of anything!
We stayed for two nights but Alex and Thomas made us feel so welcome that we felt we had come home! We had our evening meal with them on the first night in their lovely bar/restaurant. Thomas is the chef and the food was excellent. The evening was a highlight of our holiday - we stayed chatting to a couple of their guests and Alex and Thomas. They are wonderful company. The hotel is in beautiful countryside and there are some lovely walks close to the hotel and it is a ten to fifteen minute drive to Lake Titisee.
This is really a divine place. We loved it, and our week during stay is forever stored in our memories. It's not only a matter of the nice, clean and cosy appartment, the delicious foods, or the overall good atmosphere. It is mostly a matter of the people who own it and work here: they're angels. We adore it and we'll return soon! Try by yourself!
Such friendly hosts and the meal in the restaurant was excellent.
Everything was very nice.
