Great service, you feel immediately welcome by the owner, his wife and the staff. The kitchen is very good and you get value for money. The room is cosy and traditional, but with all luxury you need. Certainly a place to come back!! Nothing!
Very scenic, quaint village, ideal "get away from it all", excellent cuisine (the "carré d'agneau" - rack of lamb - is to die for!), professional and service-minded owners and staff. Rooms are a bit small for the price asked, no pool
The staff were friendly and efficient. The decoration was very tasteful and everything was clean and in great condition. The double room was a bit small, but still very comfortable. It was in the attic (under the roof) so the windows were very low and in order to look outside you had to bend down.
Excellent meals. A very good variety of food at breakfast. Friendly staff. Our balcony had very nice view.
Friendliness of the staff. Excellent food. The price. Too expensive for a place that does not even have an elevator.
The hotel has been beautifully updated with elegant lighting and artwork. There is a deck off the back of the third floor - perfect for watching the mountains, pastures and trains. Breakfast room is big, clean and inviting. The restaurant food was wonderful, as was the wine list. A perfect location for visiting the Swiss National Park. Located a bit close to the main road, but, still plenty quiet at night. They could have had more information on hand regarding visiting the Park (but the Park Visitor House is in walking distance).
It's atmosphere and surronding amazing area
The staff was friendly and from international backgrounds. They tried to provide maps and brochures at our request. Breakfast buffet was good and abundant. The hotel is conveniently located near the train and bus stations. The building has the charm of an old house that has been renovated in the inside, with a country feeling. We had requested a room downstairs because I had a hip replacement, and they offered us a room on the 3rd. floor. After some negotiations they gave us one on the 2nd. floor. No elevator. After a lot of negotiations, and after we signed a receipt, they provided the promissed free internet connection advertised on the website. There seems to be a lack of trust when providing the use of the internet.
The location is very central. We asked for adjacent rooms and we got it. The cuisine was really good and we especially liked the breakfast. Unfortunately there is no lift and for eldery people it is quite a climb to the second floor.
A beautiful location, useful free wifi. Small and personal. Great views from balcony. Quiet and peaceful away from town.
Peaceful location - slightly away from the main centre but within easy walking distance. Friendly staff, good sized room. Bathroom not well lit.
Very friendly staffs, and spacious room. I think this hotel is run by a family and they seem quite interested in our comfortable stay and also opinion about the hotel.
The friendliness and kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the view, the location of the hotel. The balcony was a little smaller than I expected.
Had an excellent room upstairs with a nice view, family atmosphere, great food - overally very satisfied! little bit noisy church relatively close... but that would be problem in a whole Scuol...
The location is good, but there are many other Hotels you can find on the same street. Unfortunately, booking.com only showed this one, the oldest! Staff was friendly, though. Breakfast was very little, with few selection and very few quantity! No fruit and only a small (and I mean small) glass of orange juice per person.
Price / performance ratio is a bit odd. However, still recommendable.
so very cosy and pleasanr, all furniture in my room was stripped pine and antique, the food was lovely.
Attentive staff. Excellent restaurant. Secure parking. Friendly. Good local atmosphere.
Charming old-style room and corridors, a lot of interesting details. Authentic breakfast was quite basic, below an average hotel I stay in
Charming rooms with a lot of history. Friendly staff. Free garage for the motorbike. Recommended for motorcyclists. Being in an old house means hearing your next door neighbours quite well...
Very charming, old-style hotel (but with modern facilities). Good breakfast buffet. Garage available for motorcycles. The village of Müstair is also fabulous - cobblestone streets, ancient buildings and monastery.
The Service from the staff was excellent and very welcoming Shower rooms are a little small
I lked the hotel so I'd like to stay again.
Surroundings and village; rooms esp decor; friendly and helpfu staff; food None
Helpful staff, very convenient location. Also, the hotel has a sauna and swimming pool in the basement level - the smallest pool I've ever seen, but nice never the less. Shared toilet for my room - not sure if that applies to all. Only cold water at the toilet hand-basin.
The hotel is beautiful, we admired the flowers, ate delicious food and the hotel staff did everything they could to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. A make-up miroir in the bathroom would be useful
Very nice hotel, stylish furnishingsand. Very comfortable room. So romantic. Good breakfast too. Location: quiet but not so comfortable because of the tortuous mountain road. There is nothing around, only other hotels. You always need the car to go to Scuol. Price quite high.
