9.1 Excellent
Pros: The kids loved the waterpark. We got a great rate using the kayak app. I have also seen groupons for this resort that have great deals (considering normal rate). I can't wait to visit again using one of the discounted options. Water was warm, air felt cold at first (but I'm always freezing) but I warmed up quickly. I also think it's worth mentioning how appreciative I am that the resort allows kids to use their own coast gaurd approved flotation devices. A lot of water parks have started banning them saying people are not attentive to their children because they think the devices are a substitute for supervising your children. Although I'm sure that's true. I'm willing to bet the parents in that category don't supervise their children either way. Isn't it better to at least know these kids have a safety net?!?! I have two small children one of whom is a very high energy 5 year old. These places are often crowded and it's easy to lose sight of your child for even just a moment. It was very comforting knowing my babies had supervision and a safety net just in case.. Please keep allowing parents to use them.
Cons: We stayed to play for a few hours on the day of checkout and the shower area in the waterpark is an open area. I just wish they had private shower facility's in the waterpark. The amazing shampoo and conditioner the resort provided was awesome though ;)

Pros: The lines went quick and water rides rocked!
Cons: The beds are too soft.
4.8 Okay
Cons: When we checked in we were given a choice, wait for a room a few hours or accept one on a lower floor. As my 4 year old couldn't wait to get started we took the room. The room had a putrid smell, I thought like old gym socks, we later learned actually sewer / cesspool smell. Room was a little sticky as well. After coming back to room from water park, rm still smelled, toilet started to act up. At 10;30 PM we finally complained, took over an hour and 2 calls to get maintenance in. He fixed it , but broke again after 2 uses. Lunchtime we came back to rm to find the toilet in the bath tub and workers in & out of room. Although all staff apologized and were nice, they gave us late checkout & a coupon for Starbucs, they did not make us feel better or give us a satisfactory resolution. I am sure this does not happen to all, but it did to us and our experience to Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos was not a good one.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Free wolf ears handbands at check-in! The room we got was nice and tidy. Most of the staffs were friendly and helpful, they helped me find my lost pair of glasses from one of the slides. Wished we stayed a little longer
Cons: One of the staff members at the arcade, Leeshon, is really impassive at the redemption center. He lets people cut the line to the counter and ignored my father when he complained and asked if there was one or two lines, what got me really upset is I'm certain Leeshon ignored my father because he was not fluent in English and the customer who cut the line was. When I walked to the front of the counter and spoke fluent English with Leeshon his whole attitude changed.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: We loved the facilities and restaurants. Casino allows smoking but rest of the hotel is smoke free.
Cons: The hidden resort fees at check out. Close to $100 extra
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The restaurants are fabulous ... combined, you can find a simple grilled cheese to a uniquely prepared top choice veal porterhouse and a lot of choices in-between. Excellent service from all the staff and plenty around to help you with anything you want. The casino is well maintained.
Cons: Can't come up with anything I didn't like.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Updated rooms
Cons: No microwave or fridge available in room. Not a great room service menu.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The entire staff was very kind, friendly, professional, helpful and efficient. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient fairly priced
Cons: Starbucks is on the other side of hotel. Need security escort for children to go eat or Starbucks being casino is in the middle and also the restaurant are there as well. I just went to the outside to eat during my stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel design, rooms, and wait staff were great. In the surrounding area there are many mom and pop eateries like Billy's Diner- the breakfast was delicious and inexpensive. Mountain Pizza and Alfredo's Pizza was outstanding. Close to the shopping Outlets. Valet parking was included. We went during the 4th of July, the fireworks show were phenomenal. Our goal was a quick getaway to rest and relax, we stayed in our rooms most of the time. If the hotel would have had more activities to offer for non-gamblers, we would have been interested, but we don't gamble but was open to staying here to see what else the hotel had to offer.
Cons: Limited pool hours. a very big disappointment. The pool only stays open until 7 during the weekday, later on the weekends because they have pool parties. Food too expensive and not good, We were a bit disappointed in Guy's restaurant. No microwave or refrigerator in the rooms. So you could not take leftovers back to your room or keep sodas or water cold. The goal of the Hotel, because this is not a resort, was to keep you gambling and in the casino and spending money at their expensive restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Much more than expected. Casino is top notch. Have been to casino on many occasions. Our first time to the resort/ hotel side. We will return. Met or beat our expectation.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: My room was dirty and had bed bugs ! plus I had a very unpleasant time it was boring nothing to do unless you go there to gamble or play gulf .Not suitable for a family with small children you have to be escorted everywhere the restaurants are located in the casino and you can't enter unless someone escorts you to and from,so that becomes very annoying
8.0 Excellent
Cons: The rooms could use more bath towels. While it was purported to be a smoke free hotel room, there was the smell of cigarette smoke in the casino areas that was off-putting.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was 1 minute close to horseback riding; which was great! The breakfast food was good. The rooms were clean. There was plenty of activity to do free in the resort.
Cons: There's a $120 hold on top of an $83 fee. We was informed about a $75 fee not $83 which was ok. The $120 hold would have been ok had we been informed! Also the resort can be all inclusive as far as the meals but we weren't given the option; which sucked.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Do not go by the website pictures. The room's interior was old and in desperate need of new carpeting, wallpaper, furniture. The exterior of the buildings were just plain unattractive. Felt like a concrete roadside motel that wasn't updated since 1975 that charges way too much. Definitely not "Romantic"....
6.8 Good
Pros: Villas are separate little units that aren't connected so no worries of being kept up by loud neighbors. Themed rooms are a nice change from the usual bed and bath hotels that are everywhere.
Cons: Mold for days in the shower and jacuzzi. Bring your own cleaning supplies if you want a little peace of mind for your own personal hygiene. Each restock of towels seems to be riddled with mystery stains of all colors. Highly recommend checking towels before grabbing one to wrap or dry yourself with.
3.1 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, except that I got to get away
Cons: Resort is in bad repair, Marriot prices for poor motel quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quite peaceful relaxing mood
6.6 Good
Pros: The room was nice. It was secluded and had a romantic vibe to it. The staff tried to make up for the room not being ready.
Cons: We arrived at 3:30, check in was at 3:30 but we did not receive a room until 7:30pm. We continued to get the run around for why our room was not ready timely.

1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Check in took over an hour because he kept telling me it wasn't paid. Room only had a fold out bed. No hot water. Heater didn't work. Used towels for extra blankets. Was the worst hotel experience ever. Poconos with not heat or hot water and a fold b
7.0 Good
Pros: It's less than 1 mile from the Kalahari Waterpark. I was attending a convention there and the room rate was at least double what we paid at this hotel. I only needed a place to sleep for 2 nights and it was perfect for that.
Cons: There were a few maintenance issues it did not affect my stay. I brought them to the attention of the staff who seem to be unaware of it and thanked me for bringing it to their attention.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel clean and quiet and my family enjoy the pool and hot tub a lot! And the location is nice and near to the water park!
Cons: The WiFi not working well!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is everything,a hop skip and a jump to my favorite horseback riding pretty much on the premises and minutes away from three surrounding resorts one in walking distance
1.0 Poor
Pros: There was (now is closed) a restaurant inside the hotel. Also the indoor pool was nice and clean. That is honestly about it.
Cons: Dirty. Outdated. Uncaring staff. Lied about room and rates. Terrible/nonexistent WiFi. I could go on and on...it is not even a hotel it is a place where cleaning staff for Kalahari and Mount Airy pay rent to live month-to-month. Just awful.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was very nice and friendly.
Cons: This hotel is very dated. I think they are in the process of updating. The room was very dirty, stained sheets and very gross carpet. The bathroom was clean but the white towels were a dingy shade of grey. The furniture was beat up looking too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Secluded and peaceful location
Cons: Would love breakfast on site
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, while being in a quiet, wooded area. Huge pool / jacuzzi room. And their own quaint pub.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pools were fabulous and the fitness center very comfortable. The dinner dining at the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: The internet connect was poor. The facility is very large with solid walls so I can image it would be difficult to provide the best internet but more could be done.

7.1 Good
Pros: lot of activities to do and the comforts in the room where nice.
Cons: Bring your own adult movies, food and liquor as this is not free and very pricey. Also, the room we were in could've used some repair as sofa's had cig burns and the pool tiles where poorly repaired.
7.4 Good
Pros: We loved the pool, sauna, and heart shaped tub in our room. The resort offers a lot to do at no charge which was great. The room was very private and quiet.
Cons: this is a no-frills romantic resort- they do not include anything like bubble bath or a log for the fireplace (since they say you cant use a real log). I was upset that they told me check in time was 3, then when we got there it was not ready. they said they would call me when the room was ready but did not. only when i went to the desk to check was the room ready. I felt for the price of the hotel, the decor was lacking a lot.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: This hotel says very clearly on its own website that it is pet friendly. When you click the book a room link on the hotel’s website, it shows which room types are pet friendly. After I booked and pre-paid a night, I got the usual email follow up. I happened to read the fine print a few days later... and noticed it said to call for pet-friendly reservations. In tiny print. So I did. And thank goodness I did! The hotel no longer takes pets. Even though it’s own website and booking service say it does. Even though it has pop up ads when you google pet friendly hotels in that area. And there are no exceptions. So there we were with no where to stay and no where to host a family get together with 48 hrs notice. Totally unacceptable. Will never stay there, even without a pet.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Breakfast buffet for $13.99. 2 rounds make it worth the money. Freshly made mix n match omelettes were fantastic! The king sized bed was comfortable.
Cons: Front desk staff were accommodating. Parking was easy. Amenities were available. Didn't expect the place to have such an "old" vibe. Cant blame them since the place was founded in the 1900s or something. Seemed a bit too rustic for my taste. Hot water took minutes to come out the faucet. Shower water pressure was too low. Update the rooms. Everything just seemed so outdated, except for the flat screen TV in the room. Renovate the place. It looks very old and outdated.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Poor service all around - that complimentary coffee? Urn was empty. Both mornings. Just as well, who wants styrofoam cups? Stains on carpet in room, on bathroom floor as well. No screen on one of the windows. Venetian blind in bathroom broken. Signs of neglect everywhere. Definitely down-on-its-heels facility. Had the look and feel of a budget motel, not a higher-end "resort and spa." No life guard on duty, yet they don't open the poor until 10 AM. Snarky staff at check-out. And be sure to inquire about that "resort fee" they tack on, adding insult to injury.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Beautiful location in the Poconos Historic, rustic feel Green initiatives Comfortable bed Golf course
Cons: Room wasn't well cleaned(Laurel Lodge) Service in the bar wasn't attentive Front desk at spa had no interest in giving us a tour or explaining services Need larger/better staffed counter selling personal items (didn't have a toothbrush) Wedding was going on during our stay and we were very clearly not a priority of the hotel
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The resort was clean and offered many enjoyable activities. The location is beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are lots of quiet places inside and out where one can sit for a few moments to recharge. The surrounding area includes a lot of shopping options, including a Walmart for any forgotten items.
Cons: The room left a lot to be desired. The AC system was so loud you couldn't hear the TV when running and it jolts you awake. The bed was positioned under a slanted ceiling and I bumped my head getting up. Water pressure was so low that it was barely able to keep the shower on. We arrived at 4:30 and didn't get a room until 6:00. The breakfast buffet was a little pricey at $18 per person, but there is a Perkins nearby. There was no coffee maker in the room, although the complimentary coffee in the lobby was ready by 5:00 a.m. Worst of all, I had to drive a mile for ice cream :)
5.1 Okay
Pros: The number of amenities ! There is a lot to do.
Cons: The room was dirty, and "OLD"! The ugly green carpet in our 12'x12' room was stained and the bed was absolutely the worst we have ever slept in. If not for the filthy carpet I would have slept better on the floor. We checked out early to go home and sleep. The on-sight restaurant was severely understaffed for a major holiday (Valentines Day). They had one bartender, one waitress, and two managers to cover everything. The bartender and the waitress should be given a week off with FULL pay for what they had to deal with. And the male manager or owner, not sure what he was, should be ashamed of himself for riding the bartender as he did. One person making ALL the drinks and tending to tables. That is a business hero cause he saved that night for real.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: 100 year old hotel that has been very carefully preserved in the old fashion furnishings, yet everything was clean and well appointed. Stayed for a Friday night, wanted something different than the usual cinder block hotel overnight stay - this is the place. The staff was extremely friendly and eager to assist, even the night facilities manager was kind enough to open the indoor pool and walk us down the into the pool and recreation area later at night just so we could see it. There were kids in the arcade and pool table area having fun and the hotel in-house movie theatre was showing a movie about 11pm. Lots going on! The bed was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in at a hotel, and the room despite being over 100 years old was up to date, clean and very pleasant. The morning was great with the beautiful mountain views. This is a hard property to maintain because of the age of the hotel and they have worked really hard to keep in up and it shows! We will definitely stay again, and the next time try the spa, it looked wonderful.
Cons: There wasn't any thing that was negative, except that we were coming in after dark and the hotel signage on the roads and lighting to get to the property could be a little better for those not familiar with the country roads.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I wish we could have stayed longer. Next time we stay it will be an extended stay. Great place for the price..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff members were very accommodating. Felt very comfortable just staying with myself and toddler. Other reviews commented on the decor but I didn't find it distasteful at all, nor will it defer me from staying again.
Cons: The only thing bad I can say about our stay was the slamming doors throughout the night. I'm a light sleeper so I was up all night. My daughter slept right through it though.

Pros: Thanks you very much
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location, close to the Mt. Airy casino.
Cons: The grounds were dirty and not well-maintained, the breakfast was sparse (one type of cereal, and bagels...that's it), and the room was small and had no place to hang clothes. We could have lived with all that, if not for the price they were charging.
7.0 Good
Pros: This was a 1 night stay. Expected this to be run down and tired. Was pleasantly surprised. Could see there were some improvements and the room was clean. Micro and fridge inculded. They did offer coffee in the office but did not partake.
Cons: There was no closet, hairdryer or coffee maker but just to sleep the place was fine. The heating unit was very noisy but kept the room warm
