Pros: Flight was fine; nothing special, but no major issues. Food was ok.
Cons: We were not allowed to check in for the flight, or change seats, or select meals, etc. because the flight was a route share with China Airlines. Worst part of this flight is we received absolutely NO communication that our return flight to Taipei had been cancelled. We got all the way to the airport to find out that the flight was cancelled due to a typhoon in Taipei. If we had known ahead of time, we could have arranged another night in the same hotel where we were already staying and just enjoyed another nice day in Bali. Instead, we went to the airport, found out, and then had to scramble to make arrangements. I think that all stems from not being able to check in and give the airline contact info for changes in flight status. Very disappointed with the level of communication and customer service. I even emailed the airline about checking in, and I was told that we could not--we had to go to the airport in person to check in and make changes to seats, etc.
