Very clean. Bright white towels, white linen crisp and pressed. New bed mattress. Quiet location but very central, only 3 minutes walk to the main bus station, the same towards the old town. Reliable wifi. Kind and helpful staff on the reception desk.
Breakfast was terrible. Limited choice and everything in a short supply. The waitress sitting down at her side table interested mainly in her mobile phone. Had to ask her to replenish basics such as butter or eggs or bread. When delivered, everything in short quantities, two hard boiled, cold eggs cut in halves, two pieces of bread, a match box size piece of hard butter which the waitress brought impaled on the fork, placed on the plate with remnants of some cold cuts and then proceeded to chop it into small pieces with the fork. Eight warming containers (bain-marie style) all very unappetising, one with a half of pink, skinless sausage floating in a murky water, another one with bits of dry buckwheat. No fruit in sight. Honestly, better off going without breakfast. TV reception poor, screen snowy and shaky, only russian programs. Kettle and cups in the room, but no teabags or coffee satchels, sugar or milk. Toiletries in minimal supply, one satchel of shower gel and one satchel of shampoo. Purple gel over the sink for hands washing. My room was in vivid green and a lot of pattern on everything. Walls adorned with arrangements of plastic flowers.
The room was huge and extremely comfortable. Slept like a baby on the bed. All the staff were amazing and helpful and went out of their way to help me. Highly recommended. :)
Very large suite, with a comfortable queen bed, interior design very nice, pretty in an old fashioned style, in a good taste. A lot of light thanks to many windows. Wi-Fi Internet working without any complications.
No bar soap in the bathroom (only liquid soap) Television - the only English language station is Euronews (no CNN or BBC World)
