Cleanliness of room and excellent food! The village itself was disappointing.
Wonderful staff and good facility The rooms are small when traveling with young children. Perfect for a single or couple but very small if you have kids.
We did not like the location - it is situated in a small industrial area between Guebwiller and the next town.
The staff, the cleanliness and the rooms; the size of the rooms
The hotel has a special charme, especially with some interior design elements and a flavour of art and culture. Wonderful hosts and a warm and relaxed atmosphere. This hotel has the potential to become a juwel in the alsace region. Any requests were handled in an easygoing way. Thumbs up !
A lovely old chateau with characterful rooms and nice ensuite bathrooms. Nice breakfast including delicious home-made jams. The hotel is in a lovely old town and close to vinyards - one vinyard almost spills into the town from a high hiilside - and the town has an interesting old monastry which is a frequent venue for music events
the location, food, romantic taste, staff none
I really liked the location of this hotel. Due to lack of parking space outside , a free semi-guarded parking is a real benefit.
Very large and nicely equipped quadruple rooms with a jacuzzi bath. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. The hotel is located closed to the old town. The hotel is located on a large street, which was not so nice, and which is not visible from the nice hotel picture on the web site www.booking.com. Overnight the noise of traffic on that street was loud enough to disturb a good sleep.
Near city center. Free parking. Beautiful bathroom.
very clean asked for double - got a twin
More than impressed with every aspect of the Hotel , with regard to value, comfort and convenience. We would strongly recommend.
The internet was free! and the price was nice. the bathroom looked so old and not good maintained. There was no minibar.
We stayed at the Hotel for an overnight stay between France and Austria. It was almost exactly half way and the room price was greatly reduced otherwise it would not have been within our budget. The Hotel was centrally positioned with plenty of places nearby to eat. We tried to rebook for the return journey but unfortunately they were full.
Good English spoken, good overnight, cost effective but comfortable stop over hotel. Difficult to find the car park.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, safe parking, good (bath)room. All good. Nothing
The hotel had a good central location, and the room was good value for money.
Good choice and value for the money.
friendly staff, excellent location, good breakfast buffet The room was smaller then i expected.
clean, better than a normal 3 star hotel. Large room and bathroom, but breakfast needs some improvement. For the money we paid, this is good enough. location...hard to find the hotel. There are signs all over the places. Once you realize this, it was easy to spot.
value for money ! excellent breakfast. Although in the city centre, easy accessible via het parking (which is cheap for overnight stay)
It's located in the very center of the town, they offered to change my room immediately when i asked it, polite staff and receptionists Everything was out of order (satTV, Saunas), the tradition room was tiny and changed it. Poor quality breakfast although there was a good selection
Central, easy to find, good parking facilities
Location Very poor room noise
Great hotel, except for the shower shield... As it often happens, the glass shield for the shower was too small... It's almost impossible not to flood the room while showering!! Architects never take showers!
staff heplfulness, the hotel position too small double bed
I think the hotel is located in the best area along the wine route. I wouldnt hesitate to stay in Ruffach again on my next journey to the alsace region. everything is very typical french. Dont expect anything to be new refurbished and when it is (as the spa) dont expect it to be european or american standard. After all - this is france!
Beautiful chateau, great view and a genuine feel to it. Nice pool and sauna. Friendly reception staff and grand rooms. They even upgraded our room because of a late drop-out. The jacuzzi was not working.
the location, the view, the park, the silence, exterior swimming pool 1. breakfast very expensive, middle quality, bad service, no refill, staff was preparing the tables for supper with a lot of noise during the breakfast 2. The exterior of "Pavillon Nantilde" (backside) is not clean and a bit "slumlike", does not fit to the image of "chateau"
Everything, top class.Enormous room, with a door leading straight on to the garden, enormous bed, well stocked mini bar, bathrobes.Excellent restaurant food was reasonably price cosidering the quality. The town(Rouffach) was shabby.
The premises are wonderful and staff is very attentive
the heated pool sparsely furnished room and very dated decor, not what I would expect from a 4/5 star hotel
location & pool
Stayed on our way back from Switzerland - food superb, and room was slightly shabby chic, but clean and comfortable, good views from our room
Excellent location and views. Outdoor pool very refreshing! Aircon in annex was a mobile unit and so a little noisy.
Good location. Convenient walking to all main points in town.
The beds were of poor quality and it was difficult to sleep in them The beds
Noise from road, if room towards it, old room, furniture ready to renewal, no terrace furniture, very clean, bathroom large and nice - their restaurant absolute top class!
The hotel is more than you would normally expect from a two-star. I was very well surprised by the stay. I would definitely recommend it.
lovely rooms, great restaurant nothing!
the silence,clean, parking
Nice quiet setting overlooking a lake. Good breakfast choices.
The Dining Room and the food.
room clean and with good equipment. Nice design and terrace.. prices for food and beverages vers. service not approperiate.
Cleanliness, location and cost - you get excellent accomodation for your money. The pizza resteraunt at the other side of the lake is good value too !!
We felt at home and the service was excellent! In one word "quality"!
Plenty of room Lighting in room was horrible-what's wrong with at least one or two lights you can read with? Also, restaurant staff was not helpful- Some of the young peaple there had to know how to speak at least a few words of English- did not care to evn try to be helpful
We loved the ambiance, decor, setting, friendliness of staff in fact everything. one little thing, coffee making facilities in room would have been an added blessing.
A good hotel for people on the route between Germany and France. A little difficult to find.
Great helpful service, nice room, good food-a very happy guest
Helpfull and efficient staff that were capable of arrangeing our stayover very promtly and accurate.
Very convenient, just off motorway. We use this hotel when travelling between England and Italy. Beautiful town, lots of flowers, rather quiet.Convenient parking in front of hotel.
No Restaurants! Better you eat in Neuenburg/Germany (5 min by car).
Good location on edge of small village - but close to main routes. No locks on bathrooms.
easy to locate, good restaurant on site, easy walking distance to village of Ottmarsheim, quiet location, inexpensive but value for money, English spoken smaller room than other hotels booked on our tour but was adequate for overnight stay
The breakfast buffet they only had one cot for infants and it was already taken, therefore my 2 year old had to sleep in a full size bed with us.
Much cheaper than staying in Basel. Hard to find.
Reception staff very helpful
Staff were friendly and helpful. Shower layout was impractical and did not actually work.
Extremely helpful staff, and very comfortable accommodation close to the trtain station but in a quiet location. Highly recommended. No.
The hotel is really close to the center and the staff who work at the hotel is very kind.
Staff were pleasant and efficient and tried hard to make sense of our English. Room was clean and well presented
Central location, very friendly staff
the service the shampoo
Very friendly staff, very near railway station
art deco its more a 3 star hotel
Excellent position chic hotel
The parking was very nice to have. The receptionist was very kind. There was an enormous disturbance because of live music. The rooms were to warm (overheated most probably) and the breakfast was really no value for money. The choise of bread was little. The quality of the available bread was bad. The amount of filling for the bread was minimal.
Location was convenient; staff was particularly helpful Carpet in room (213) was threadbare and badly needed to be replaced
Very nice historic Art Deco Hotel, near the city centre, with charming decoration and nice staff. Great Athmosphere. Good breaktfast and fast check-in and check-out. Unfortunately the bathroom floor was not properly cleaned and the room smaller than expected, maybe because of the internet booking with good price ? Loud music in the night, due of live music at the hotel bar, we heard it even at second floor. Strong perfume like smell in the room, from cleaning material maybe.
Perfect located in city center, but still very quite location. Perfect breakfast buffet.
The art deco styling of the hotel and the staff were very helpfull and pleasant No tea making facilty in the rooms, and a very small room with the bare minimum provided couldn,t get a meal in the hotel on a Sunday night the bar staff made us a toast snack, The whole of Mulhouse and restaurants close all day.
Location, nice bar and pleasan staff
