Cons: Most resort hike from beach
9.4 Excellent
Cons: It was in the Grande Cayman Island
6.5 Good
Pros: The staff at the hotel was very helpful and attentive.
Cons: The hotel is simply not worth the money. Our room was dated and not worth the price that they are charging for the room. The room was mediocre but with what they charge and the Ritz Carlton name I expected and outstanding room with a wow factor.

7.4 Good
Pros: Stunning location, beachfront fabulous, loved cabanas. Front desk well organized.
Cons: Checkin claimed to be upgrading our room but put us on a first floor corner with a ping pong table outside our terrace door.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. But pity that web site said pool under renovation, but whole hotel was. Could have done with more signs to indicate how to get to and from the beach as parts were circled off.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Location is great
Cons: Room service was terrible. They couldn't get a tea order right. I had to call 3 times to get a tea with sugar and cream. They messed up a fruit bowl order. Super loud music playing outdoors by the pool till 7pm that was audible inside with the doors closed and with earplugs in. Outside cafe: Ice cream was melted. Served incorrect drinks. Overall very poorly managed facility for its caliber. Much better in past years. I have been coming here for 12 years and this is the worst I have seen it. Sad to see the decline.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location with attentive staff. It is going to be a beautiful hotel once the construction is finished. The staff are all sensitive to the hassle construction causes and go above and beyond to accommodate all needs and concerns. We were well aware of the construction when we booked so it didn't really bother us. I was there for a conference but if I had been looking for a romantic serene get away I would not choose this hotel until the construction is finished. Otherwise, great location and great staff.
Cons: Difficult to enjoy the ocean front patio at any point due to the constructions noise.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this tucked-away retreat from the high-rise mess of seven-mile beach. Dean and Marissa were amazing staff ready to accommodate in any way possible. The rooms and grounds were beautiful and well-kept. We loved sitting on the screened-in porch to eat, read, catch up on E-mails, have a drink, talk with our new friends (fellow guests from around the world), or just watch birds, iguanas, and wildlife in the adjacent lake. Also, Dean is so generous -- you can borrow snorkel gear, towels, beach items, bikes, plates, books, etc.
Cons: Everything was great. We found that having a car was a virtual necessity to explore the island. Biking might work for those in shape, but many of the roads are narrow and well trafficked, so it would be a bit dangerous. We heard that taxis are expensive, but didn't try them out as we rented a car very inexpensively. The two nearby restaurants are excellent, but very pricey -- so beware. There are many interesting, less fancy places right on the beach, such as the Heritage Kitchen.

6.0 Good
Pros: The location was great for where I was conducting business. The food was good and the options were plenty. I liked that the hotel wasn't too big. I liked the access to parking and was lucky to always have a spot close to the entrance.
Cons: I didn't like the lack of beach space. My room wasn't cleaned properly. When I checked out staff didn't ask me how my staff was. Even though it was a business trip, I had time for 1-hour in the morning to enjoy the beach, which wasn't that big. While laying there the drills the staff uses for the beach umbrellas, was really annoying and go against the ambiance I was seeking. Minutes later drilling into construction started at the beach restaurant. I decided to move then near the back pool, which then of course someone was cutting the grass. I couldn't win that morning. My reservation package came with a $50 credit to use on F&B. The night before I checked out, I confirmed with the front desk staff, if that credit would be good for breakfast tomorrow. He said yes, up until checkout at 11am. When I went to check out, the staff said that wasn't the case. They ended up giving me the credit, but was annoying to have to check my bill twice.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: Room A/C did work excactly right. It didn't knockout the humidity as it should have.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We visited a few hotels on Grand Cayman and the Marriott was the best by far. Such a great deal for clean facilities, friendly staff, amazing food and drinks, and water activities included. We will definitely be returning with our kids in tow!
Cons: They didn't do a good job cleaning our room before we arrived. There was a foul smell in the bathroom that was caused by mildew from the previous guest's wet clothes from beach/pool.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was courteous and friendly. Located across the street from the Westin. Great beach access and located near decent restaurants.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The road noise at night
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice to have a kitchenette pool access to beach restaurant
Cons: resort fee
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The king sized bed was comfortable for me, but may not be the case for everyone. I liked having a kitchenette to make sandwiches and a quick meal to cut down on the cost on eating out. Stove top although only 2 rings worked extremely well and heated things very quickly (I saw a review that said the stove didn't heat water very quickly but ours was fine). Pans provided were excellent, along with crockery, cutlery, wine glasses, cutting board and a small amount of utensils. The breakfast provided was perfectly adequate for us with coffee, tea, juice, pastries, fruit, yogurt, toast & cereal. Loved the use of the Westin facilities - sun loungers, umbrellas on beach and pool, it is a 4/5 minute walk across to the beach, but the cost of the Sunshine Suites rooms compared to the Westin make up for the walk. Renoir on the front desk was extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. He should be training others on how to treat guests as the ladies at the desk weren't as helpful. Grounds around the hotel were superb.
Cons: The Wi-fi wasn't spectacular, just adequate. The rooms are a little dated, but not terrible. The A/C can be hit or miss (we tried 2 rooms before finding A/C working in the last). One major problem was that the Hot and Cold lines on the faucet in the tub had been reversed, quite serious for children and elderly. Front desk on check out said they are addressing this issue. There is no elevator/lift so you will get exercise - we were on the top floor, but it wasn't too bad for us - but we are fairly active. Wasn't happy with the $30 per night wi-fi, facilities charge, but it's alot cheaper than other hotels.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, nice complementary breakfast, delicious food at hotel restaurant
Cons: Much older crowd of guests - almost everyone was above 60. Also frustrating that they deactivate your keys before the 12:00 pm check-out.
7.1 Good
Pros: Kitchens in rooms, staff very helpful and nice. Beach chairs were provided. Wifi worked well.
Cons: Very spartan breakfast included, small common area and only public access to beach. No elavators for the 3 story property. A/C, while it had controls, it had little control blew cold air in all modes. No hotel van. Access to a sister property the Westin, across the street was available for 30 per day.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the cleanliness of the hotel. The beautiful view didn't hurt at all. I am a fan of iguanas so I loved watching them. The shuttle driver was very nice and punctual. The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The continental breakfast was not what we expected but we ordered side items as well. A traditional continental layout would be more convenient than having a waitress bring a bunch of cereal boxes for one to choose.
5.7 Okay
Pros: room was a decent size facilities were ok, decor was ok desk staff very friendly free shuttle to several areas
Cons: nothing luxurious the location isn't great: windward side of the island and no bus routes dining staff a little slow

Pros: The hotel itself was nice, the room was spacious and clean and the staff was super nice. Great food at the restaurant! Great pool and lounging area.
Cons: The ocean was very cloudy and had lots of seaweed. The snorkeling was zero, so unfortunately not great to hang out at the beach, but a great value if you just want to relax poolside. A bit tough to find, street signs are few and far inbetween in the island.

6.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable beds with a kitchen and utensils to use. George town is very close
Cons: Only gave two towels everyday. No nightlife bar close.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not much.
Cons: Everything else.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Treasure island is uninhabitable. They are tearing it down and the construction workers are living in the hotel. Everything was disgusting! The room that they did give us was filthy with pubic hairs on the bed! This hotel should not be available for booking.
6.5 Good
Pros: I liked that it was much cheaper than other properties nearby (for a reason though - see negative comments). I like the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was in great shape. I like having the convenience of the little grocery store in the lobby area.
Cons: I didn't like that there was no wifi in the rooms, and that the wifi in the lobby was not reliable. There were several things about the hotel and our room that were just run down - sliding door to balcony didn't work properly, no sink stopper, no blow dryer, phone didn't work, elevator was very dirty. To be fair, they are going through a renovation, so depending on how much $$$ they're putting in to that, things could change dramatically (and the price increase). Looks like it will be a while though.
6.2 Good
Pros: The location is great and good value.
Cons: Still under construction. New ownership and they haven’t worked out all the kinks yet.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: it has a kitchen and a balcony
Cons: limited supply's in kitchen pilled worn linens worn mattresses mold in bathroom and bedroom no space a sock was found in my bed that was from the last guest no towel mat breaker kept tripping in room coffee maker didn't work sliding door took two people to open it. it seemed like it weighed 500lb tons of extended stay kids in pool no adults jacuzi did not work maid was rude and screamed at us everyday tv was slightly larger than a kindle
