The Pinestone Resort & Conference Center is located in Haliburton and is one of the premier golf and spa resorts in Ontario. This resort is spread throughout 160 acres of beautiful country landscapes in the Highlands area and is the only full-service hotel with a spa and golf course in the area. There are 101 guest rooms at this hotel, which include standard rooms, suites, villas, and chalets. The resort features an 18-hole championship golf course and is minutes from the shops and restaurants in Haliburton Village. Outdoor activities are also nearby.

The Pinestone Resort & Conference Center has 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space along with a dedicated events and catering staff. They can assist with everything from planning to execution, including AV equipment and other technology. The resort also features a fine dining restaurant, and the full-service spa is available by appointment. The resort has an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor pool and lounge area for guests. There is a fully-equipped fitness center and a business center, with fax services available at the front desk.

Pros (+) Good location, spacious rooms, easy access to trails and good restaurant
Cons (-) Generally friendly staff - but some at reception desk not so much, pool was pretty dirty at the end of the day. Change room access totally impractical - should not be through pool area.
