8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed was comfy and breakfast was great. Husband and wife team friendly
Cons: Though beautifully clean, the room was s little sterile (all white) which needed a touch of colour or a picture or two. Lights were too bright for my liking but worked it out. Turned off the one over bed one in favour of turning on bathroom light with the door slightly ajar! I also use conditioner which is usual in hotels that I’ve stayed in the past, although there was shampoo and shower gel :) Not a deal breaker though, just didn’t wash hair and had i been staying longer than one night , could have bought some.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: So I came across this little boutique hotel in a quite part of wales a listed old tea making house set In lovely gardens greeted by a bunch of friendly staff with smiles and great folk music playing With local art hanging of eras past of miners and farm houses and great clean lines the food consists of simple but beautiful cooked simples dishes Sitting at the bar I feel like I’m at home . The bar tender offers me a test of the wintery red wines . sometimes simple and effective is the way forward The chief cooks me a fantastic Serloin steak and home cooked chips which was to die for .they have had a hectic afternoon of bridal showers and afternoon tea what they have carried out like a military operation with every one of the girls leaving with a smile on there faces now off the enjoy the big smoke of Swansea to dance the night away While these guys gear up for a busy Sunday lunch With a stunning view and the sun due to show it’s head it should be a good day at LLwyn country house

Cons: nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was tasty and plentiful would recommend the full welsh breakfast superb
4.0 Okay
Pros: The place was very clean and my breakfast was good.
Cons: Had to ask for the heating to be put on, then only lower part of the radiator in the room and lower part of towel rail was getting hot as both needed bleeding (a very simple thing to fix). The more concerning issue was the main part of the electric shower was leaking water from inside housing, Tried to isolate shower but isolation pull switch did not work. There was also a sewerage smell coming from the top of the soil pipe terminating in the bathroom, probably a faulty valve in the top of soil pipe (again a simple fix). Also, the tv remote did not work even after changing batteries in it. Wife is intolerant to gluten and no effort was made to take care of this no GF bread available or proper advice from chef what was safe for her to eat. If you have any alergys I would not recommend staying or eating here.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Room was very clean and the staff very friendly.
Cons: In my room above the bar, monotonous background music from the bar area was playing from early morning to late evening. This was irritating. The shower mechanism was unnecessarily complicated to use.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Could not be improved on. It was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts Gerri and Nick were very attentive and met all our needs - super people. Lovely and spacious breakfast/sitting room which can be used by guests for other meals. We had Room 4 at the back (quiet, not that there is much noise from the road anyway). Standard double bed and room for table and 2 comfortable chairs. Gerri had anticipated the hot weather and had adjusted the bedding accordingly.
Cons: All rooms are on the first floor, so disabled travellers need to be aware they have to manage a flight of stairs. These are not too steep and have a handrail on one side, but there are 2 quarter turns. Shower cubicle in room 4 is standard size with step up. No grab rail (although you can hold onto the door when getting in).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything xx
Cons: :) Absolutely Brilliant And Top Class In Everyway We loved staying and will be back..Such a beautiful hotel and Amazing Owners xx
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous in every respect: warm owners (Gerri and Nick) who could not possibly have been more accommodating or kind, excellent food, great location, and truly good value for money. We would highly recommend this B&B, and the location in general, to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday experience, or indeed for a business stay — with great WiFi and quietude suitable for getting work done!
Cons: Nothing — it was great in every respect in our opinion!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed at numerous bed & breakfast establishments over my 60 years and this is one of the best, if not THE best I have stayed at in all those years.
Cons: Nothing...virtually perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gerri and Nick were lovely hosts, a warm welcome awaited our arrival, we were offered help with our luggage and was presented with a tray of tea and Welsh cakes. Gerri gave us a lot of local knowledge, including directions to Kidwelly castle which we visited the next morning. The room was bigger than average with a cosy but adequate ensuite. The beds were firm and very comfortable with crisp clean linen. There was a tv and tray with tea making facilities, a fridge was located on the landing, which contained fresh milk. This came in handy, as I bought some food items, which I needed refrigeration. We were offered the use of the dining room for any take aways we might use in the village. So we did in fact, one evening for an indian take away. There is also a Chinese take away, a few minutes walk away, but we didn't get the chance to use it. Break fast was pre ordered the night before, which some people may not like. However, I thought this was a good idea as there was no food waste, and Geri always asked you, if there was anything else you wanted, so I imagine you could of asked for more breakfast if you asked. This is a dog friendly B&B and found it ideal for my dogs, every where was spotless so you wouldn't think that dogs had stayed here before, the bedroom and eating areas certainly lived up to and above a very high standard of cleanliness. Private Parking is off road at the rear of the B&B.
Cons: I booked a twin room as I was away with my mother, our room was on the front of the building, being twin beds, I don't think there was an option to be moved to the back, as I believe the other 3 rooms had double beds. The traffic noise kept me awake, as I'm a light sleeper, how ever, it wasn't all night long as this is quite a small village, just occasional. If I stayed again with my partner I would ask for room no 3 or 4 which are at the back of the building. This is My only gripe, otherwise 5☆
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing could have been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderfully friendly owner, who went the extra mile on everything. The room was clean and well equipped, and there was a large bath with toiletries provided. There was even fresh milk in the fridge for a proper cup of tea. Every detail was perfect. Tasty breakfast, too!
Cons: Nothing - it was lovely.

Pros: The breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Everthing was perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff at The Thomas Arms Hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds very comfortable. The food at The Thomas Arms Hotel was reasonably priced and very tasty. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room and was of a very high standard. The Thomas Arms Hotel is a family run establishment who have set their standards very high. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Cons: There is quite a busy road at the side of the hotel where the rooms are located so there is some outside noise from early morning. It wouldn’t stop me staying there again but some better soundproof windows wouldn’t go a miss.

4.6 Okay
Pros: Room was newly decorated and bed was comfy. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: Room directly above jukebox, which boomed away until 11pm. After a long day travelling an early night was not achieved. Even ear plugs did not work. No soap in the bathroom. Door did not really fit into the doorframe, could hear/see in to passageway. Blue Neon light around pub sign shone right into bedroom window.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Dust on top of headboard, mould around the sink
Cons: Bar down stairs, disappointed not serving food in the evening. Had to travel elsewhere.
