Pros: Free minibar, beautiful room, great service.
Cons: Only complaint is lack of booze in the casino and too few bars.Accidentally booked my hotel on the China side and didnt have a visa so was hoping for some vegas style partying as i am not a gambler when i booked the room as an alternative. Other than that, the facilities were great! A bit of ultra luxury that helped me unwind in the middle of a long bacpacking trip.
Situated near the airport, this luxury hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Cotai Arena and Cotai Strip. Macau Olympic Complex is 0.5 mi (0.8 km) away.
Pros: They have Fantastic Steam Showers!!! Wonderful historic decor and a Friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this property is due to the less then impressive exterior ;)
Pros: A really enjoyed the friendliness and service oriented staff. They, individually and as a whole went out of there way to make my trip upbeat and seamless and they were successful.
Cons: steaming shower system. I still do not how to use it.
Pros: Everything is walking distance.
Cons: The staff are pretty rude! Not the front desk but everywhere else. No bother in helping you at all and if they do they are very rude about it and just point you instead of really helping! Not so foreign friendly at all.. Please teach staff to be more courteous to guest! i don't know if that's just how they are but in Las Vegas everyone is very courteous and helpful rather than just pointing! This is what makes Las Vegas one of kind! They really make you not want to leave!!!

Pros: Location is good. Close to the airport with a free shuttle. Other resorts such as Parisian, Venetian or Wynn palace are nearby (walking distance). Stuff is friendly and tries to be helpful.
Cons: Check-in and checkout could be more organized. There seems to be never enough counters open. Even though there are several employees standing around. Although there are several places to eat (buffets, food court, restaurants) the lunch/dinner selection is rather narrow. True international cuisine or attempt to distinguish itself from any other Macau hotel/resort is missing.
Cons: Had to weigh and hour to check in because they couldn't find online reservation Not fun at 12:30 at night. Staff was not accommodating. Made the whole staff unpleasant
Pros: The hotel price is best compare with quality offered.

As said in the reviews of other customers and some of my friends, people tended to choose The Venetian when they went to Macau for the first time. That's it. Most sane people wouldn't stay here again. The most attractive feature of this hotel is its location-- right in the largest indoor shopping center. Despite of that, the hotel is kinda old. The staff are doing ok, but no more than that. The truth is, all those extra luxury hotels (four seasons, sheraton...) have easy access to the shopping center and casinos in the Venetian, but with lower room rates, arguably better service, and more importantly, less noise. Speaking from my experience, be very careful when you book this hotel on priceline. If you see breakfast or internet listed as 'freebies', take a screenshot of it. When you get your confirmation from Agoda.com, you'll see nothing but the bed is included. And you'd better have some proof in hand when you try to spend 20 minutes on an international customer service line. Good luck with that, and best luck in Macau!
Pros: Room is quite spacious.
Cons: Ridiculously expensive internet fees.
