It was a nice atmospher when the town centre had a power failure appart from the christmas lights and the bar area was eluminated with candles.appart from one guest who complained bitterley about the situation
A lick of paint in the breakfast area would not go amiss
Our room was a very good size considering the cost, i was expecting something much smaller. It was warm and very comfortable with a decent shower. The staff where friendly and helpful, and the breakfast very acceptable.
the best bit was purely location everything else needs a great deal of improvement.
My shower room was not clean walls covered in cobwebs shower area not very clean i suggest its been in 20 years to long. also breakfast would not be served until 9 am i feel that a little late as i was in work for 9 am.
location of room.
wifi didn't work
Friendly, basic and clean accommodation at a reasonable rate. Good breakfast incl in the price.
Not sure there was many good points, my pint of Guinness was nice
The room was shabby and very dated, the carpet did not look clean, dust on the surfaces, the shower controls did not work properly, the towels were clean but looked very old, the bathroom is in much need of an uplift in fact the whole room needs a complete uplift to be charging £80 per night
Generously sized room and en suite. Good furnishings. Good old fashioned bar. Private parking.
Dripping shower head, cracked bath panel, wrong (but working) kettle on tray (made it awkward to use). Coffee, milk etc. not replenished (possibly due to changing stay from 1 to 2 nights)
Accomodation was roomy and had everything we needed; good pillows, very firm bed, plenty of hot water and lots of space Ideal location for the Tatton Park concert we came for
The owner was away during our stay, his stand in had some difficulty processing our arrival and managing the breakfast Hotel not aware that our booking included breakfast Breakfast was disappointing; coffee weak, food lacked flavour, no choices offered for eggs etc Was unable to access the wifi - was told that we did not require a password but my system would not access without it.
Breakfast choice could be better for the overall price
