Kuramathi Island Resort is like heaven on earth (only flaws which I will explain later). We were on Select AI so we could dine at any restaurant at any time and we were lucky to reserve on special restaurants like the Reef and Island BBQ. The food in these restaurants and also italian restaurant were very very good. We have also tried the buffet however it was not good that is why we are happy that we were on Select AI. The island is very big so that is a little bit dissficult for families with small children, we had to call the buggy and sometimes it was late to come. In the website of the hotel it was saying that the kids club was open until 22:00 however it closed at 17:00 so we had to hire the lady at the kids club to babysit.
The housekeeping was not good, our room was never cleaned properly and the minibar was never filled up. That is why we always had to carry bottles of water from the bars to the room. I was bitten by mozzies and had some kind of allergy which was very disturbing but nothing happened to my kid and husband. The check in process was very slow, we arrived at around 17:00 and could not check in until 18:00, then we decided to walk to our room since there were no buggies, we finally were able to find our room in the dark and then had to wait for our luggage to arrive 40 minutes later. However they are pretty quick for check out.
