The rooms were very spacious and light. Perfect location and amazing view. Good spa facilities. Clean, view, big TV, lot of space. Probably the best view in Kuressaare, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was more like an apartment with a proper kitchen and a separate bedroom. The excellent spa and the sea view. Kitchen was under equipped. It was difficult to understand when and how the check-in code was sent. No communication for my booking. It's confusing that they have 2 hotels inside the Meri hotel, Sauna world only open after 17, staff calling to pay spa purchases after 21, no English service available. Fire alarm without any announcement. The big shower in bathroom requires maintenance. On Friday and Saturday there were no towels in the SPA. There were no sauna towels in spa and no soap in washing rooms in spa. Autumn season easy to carry sand/leaves. Even brush would be good! Adjusting temperature was not so easy, some guideline or simple +/- buttons would have helped. Was chilly the first evening. The pillows could be bigger. Just be aware that it is pet-friendly accommodation, some dog hair on the sofa. Felt like floors were not washed. Would have appreciated some basic seasoning stuff for cooking, e.g. salt and pepper. Very uncomfortable pillows. Couldn’t work the A/C out, was very hot. Would appreciate some instructions. If the room has SPA access, I did assume that we would have bathrobes but we did not. The service/staff were very friendly and polite but at times not very attentive. There were no towels in the SPA on Sunday morning. The couch bed is really uncomfortable. Would be easily fixable with a mattress topper. NOISE at night. Residence is directly over a noisy restaurant/event facility. Wedding on Saturday night held directly below our room was extremely loud and disruptive, even when forced to close all doors and windows. No microwave. Quite loud noise from the bedroom heating element. No air-conditioning so can get a bit hot during summer. Ventilation system. The pillow was terrible, soft, and uncomfortable. Automatic check-in did not work, we did not receive the PIN for door lock. Walls are too thin, neighbor room talk is easily heard. Kitchen could be equipped with more tools, like vegetable/fruits peeler, tools for preparing and cooking pancakes. I also lacked kitchen towel and basic spices, like salt/pepper + sugar. Families with kids need to take into account that this hotel doesn't have a pool for small kids. The pool (which is nice and new) is ~1.4 m deep.

The hotel also has a nice restaurant, a grocery store across the road, and a brand new pool area. However, guests should be aware that the hotel has an automatic check-in process, and the spa area works only from 5 to 9, which may be inconvenient for some guests.

The high season at Ö Seaside Suites & Spa is in July, offering a perfect location for a peaceful rest, a great view, and spacious rooms. The low season is in May, providing a good location and access to the spa. Guests can expect a clean, modern room, quite sparse furniture and decorations, fantastic food at the adjoining Meri Spa Hotel restaurant, and a location and views next to the sea and castle.
