Pros: Big room
Cons: Poor and very odd layout of the room. Example, bathroom sink is in right in front of the bed. King size mattress sitting on 2 twin box supports. Cheap material used to furnish and decorate. Check in clerk was not helpful at all. She put us in a room right in front of the elevator. I asked her to put us in another room became my wife is a light sleeper, her response was that that would be a upgrade and would cost more. Place smells like a weed smokers den throughout the hotel. Never coming back again. Cannot recommend this place at all.
6.0 Good
Pros: Front desk staff and the lady who prepared the food on the morning
Cons: Room old decor old beds uncomfortable Housekeeping unfriendly Elevators old and dirty, trash in corners and an old diaper in trash can in elevator Continental breakfast was poor

Pros: Very easy to find. Large comfortable sitting area for breakfast. Clean, friendly, spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Knowledgeable staff. Near several good restaurants.
Cons: Would have liked scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. Didn't see anything hot and can't eat wheat, so most of the coffee cake, rolls etc were out for me.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice enough room for a good price. Man at the front desk made the check in nice and simple. Wasnt too talkative or friendly though... it was pretty late - in his defense. Kind of makes you feel like an inconvenience though. Place was nice at 1st glance.
Cons: Tv didnt work. Heater didnt work. Phone didnt work. Alarm clocked unplugged. Hotel staff next door kept coming in and out all night- not usually a big deal but the door was so extreemly squeaky, made it a bid hard to fall asleep.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a unavoidable delay in our drive resulting in a very late check in 2am. The staff was just as friendly, helpful and upbeat as if we had checked in at 2pm. Very close to the water and short drive to Redwood forest and the light house. Great restaurant within walking distance Harbor View Grotto. All staff were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was big, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good. We slept well, woke refreshed and are happy we stayed here. We were concerned about the rv park behind us, especially because we stayed on a Saturday night, but it was quiet.
Cons: The hotel is near the water, and we were definitely able to hear the waves, but the rv park have us pause. In the end, we wanted the windows open so decided we didn't care if people saw us wandering around in various stages of undress.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Advertised a most rooms ocean view. Our room overlooked a trailer park.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We came through for a 5 day getaway and everyone told us we made a mistake booking in Crescent City, they were wrong. We couldn't have picked a bettter place to stay. Quiet, private, close to the beach and some decent restaurants. Great proximity to Jedidiah Smith State Park. The room was clean and ready for us even though we arrived half an hour earlier than check in time. The front desk staff was all very friendly and helpful in addressing our needs. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to the beach and close to the Redwoods. Oh! And our dog loved it too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The convenience of being right off of the highway & near the beach was perfect! Restaurants within walking distance were very nice, also.
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The nice staff
Cons: The only designed rooms
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: Easy to find
Cons: Bad owners, very cheap. Outdated and terrible bed
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: What is there to say I didn't like the room was suppose to get a ocean view room nope instead I got a old rv to look at
Cons: Everything the staff was rude put us in a room that felt like I was in jail looked like blood stains in front of the door will never stay at this hotel again!!
5.7 Okay
Pros: The bed was super comfy and there were a lot of tv channels. So for a night to rest, it served its purpose. The staff were all also really nice.
Cons: The area was a little shady. Our room faced the ocean, but it also faced a trailer park. There were a lot of cuter, more lively towns along the coast to stay. If I go through again, I'd probably stop in one of those instead.
7.1 Good
Pros: Right on the beach. Breakfast was adequate Rooms were clean.
Cons: Garbage can on balcony smelled like it hadn't been changed out in a while
7.4 Good
Pros: Overall this is a nice little hotel. It isn't fancy like a Hilton, and we didn't want something like that. It is a bit higher priced than it should be, but probably is in line with like properties along U.S. 101. It was easy to find and the front desk staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Some people complained in their reviews about the fact that a RV park is next door, but that didn't bother us and the park's residents were quiet. The free breakfast suited us just fine because it includes bagels and cream cheese - one of our favorites. The hotel was fine and we enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Can't think of anything we didn't like. It met our expectations.

6.2 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great, super selection and the attendant was very nice. Front desk staff was really nice too
Cons: The walls are paper thin. I asked to be away from stairs and on a top floor - we were at the bottom of the stairs and on ground level. The noise from the stairs was so loud at all hours. The people above us were extremely noisy for hours. Also, not nearly enough parking for each room. We arrived in the evening and had to park in a spot that didn't even seem to be marked.
5.1 Okay
Pros: The rooms were clean and check in was easy
Cons: They cleaned up breakfast an hour early, we had to ask for food, plates, and utensils.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: friendly staff clean rooms

Pros: I was greeted warmly and pleased to find a fridge in the room. I enjoyed the large room with ample space for my suitcase and was greeted by friendly cleaning staff when I checked out.
Cons: Nothing fancy, very basic but good value!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and people were great
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room Coffee maker, microwave Well stocked bathroom Sanitary seal on toilet Wifi Standard cable TV channels
Cons: Outdated interior Alternate parking in adjacent garage small and tight Old school TV
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a great value for the price. We chose this place because it was the cheapest one in Crescent City, but they upgraded us to a room with a kitchenette and seperate bedroom/living room. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly.
Cons: They provide parking, but it's in a very small garage that may be a little hard to maneuver in. The internet speed isn't too good, but we were eventually able to stream Netflix on it.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Close proximity to surrounding areas; coastline, redwood forest, rivers, Klamath, smith. Short drive to Brookings Oregon, Harris beach, Klamath, and walking distance to the Crescent City harbor, lighthouse. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. Reasonable cost for rooms. We spent our time out, and only used our room for sleeping and showers.
Cons: Very reduced parking in front, big trucks and SUV have little room. Parking garage is next door and helps with overflow. No lounge/common area. Outdated architectural design, both interior and exterior.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: It was very convenient for our road trip on HWY 101. The staff was friendly. Lots of space. Overall it was good.
Cons: You can hear everything outside your door (the rooms circle the parking lot). Any noise anywhere, really (above, next door, etc). But most people were quiet by 10 pm. Wifi is free, but spotty.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pretty much what I expected from a decent cheap motel. It got the job done. Comfortable bed, clean sheets/towels, TV, internet, etc. No complaints. Friendly owners, kind of a little family-owned type of thing.
7.4 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Well maintained older hotel.
Cons: Traffic noise can be heard in the room during the day. Fortunately, traffic drops at night, so it didn't keep me awake.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. She gave us muffins for Chinese New Year.
6.8 Good
Pros: Was ok for a night.
Cons: A bit rundown.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The price was definitely right. The staff was very friendly. We got upgraded to a room with a view and that was a nice perk.
Cons: The room was a bit small, but the price was also small, so you get what you pay for at this place. There's not a lot to do nearby, but that is no fault of the establishment.
7.0 Good
Pros: Customer service, clean.
Cons: Loud street while sleeping

4.8 Okay
Pros: Beautiful location and views.
Cons: The sound proofing is almost non-existent. The bed was very hard. The room was clean, but the carpet on the stairway looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum in months.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Bed bugs or fleas... woke up with all of us covered in bugs.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Good location on the beach. Looks like a nice place
Cons: $50 pet fee. Rooms say oceanfront but they arent. They are parking lot view. Misleading and hotel makes no accomodations for their errors.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was vary nice and comfortable, it had a great view of the ocean with a balcony. Bathroom had a one person jet tub that was nice. There were a few signs of repair in the hallways and some in our room but over all a vary nice hotel. This hotel was vary dog friendly and I saw many guests with there dogs. They had a nice restaurant with good food you could bring to room and eat if you like.
Cons: Some signs of repair and restoration in the halls and bathroom.
6.0 Good
Pros: The view from our balcony was amazing! Our sheets and towels were clean. We were kept awake by a tarp outside our room, and the staff did try to make that right. I appreciated them for all they did.
Cons: I should have listened to other reviews... I don't expect much from a hotel outside of cleanliness. We have stayed as a family at some less than fancy hotels and been satisfied because they were clean. The lobby was clean. Our sheets and towels were clean, but other areas of the hotel and our room were not. Floors, Pool, guestbook, and room seating were unvacuumed, visibly dirty, and stained. We ended up cutting our stay short to stay in nearby Klamath. I haven't checked my bank account to confirm, but I do believe I wasn't charged for the cancellation because of a noise coming from the next room that kept us up all night.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: It had rooms available late at night.
Cons: I was nearing the end of a12 day, 23 state Road trip with my wife and 2 young daughters in January 2017 and looking to experience the red wood forest...now for the worst experience I have ever had.. Management whom is also the owner, older Asian man "Xj" clearly does not care about customers or customer service. I had paid extra for an oceanview room. Once I arrived in my room I quickly noticed my room faced a housing complex and a parking lot. I went to the front desk to express my discontent with the room as is stated to do in their paperwork within the first 30min. After she said she could move me to another room for an additional fee I said enough is enough and asked for a refund for the additional cost I paid for the ocean view room or for the entire room. She said she had to get her manager who was in street clother and was sitting at the bar drinking with a few other people. He came over and argued that the room was an ocean view, which not only had I looked out my window but I also walked around the hotel just to make sure it clearly wasn't before talking to staff. Once I told him this he replied " You damn Americans, I don't have time for this. How did you reserve your room?" I told him I reserved online and had selected the * pay at the hotel option. * he replied "good take it up with the website now get out of my hotel" and he went back to the bar. Not sure what just happened I called Expedia who said they couldn't refund me because I paid at the hotel, he wouldn't refund me because I reserved online clearly he was trying to keep the money I had paid. I had to cancel the payment through my credit card company. I had never experienced anything like this in my life and was mortified that someone cared so little about customers in the hospitality industry. The rooms smell horribly of smoke and mildew, mediocre outdated furniture, many better options in this small tourist town. I stayed at a different hotel and had great service and a good room.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Rooms were Dirty used bandaid with blood on floor in bathroom in first room someone else's clothes in drawers of second room. Restaruant was expensive and terrible mostly frozen entrees heated up. Front desk staff not allowed to recommend other restaurants in the area. Looks on doors did not work.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Loved the location and views. Bartender made perfect drinks. Had a great burger in the restaurant!
Cons: Dirty pillow cases. Free bfast was cold. The place needs a face lift. Most of the staff don’t even acknowledge your presence. So much potential here but it appears to be run poorly or is lacking leadership and a want to deliver a world class experience. Did it meet my basic expectations? Almost. A couple small changes and my visit would have been drastically different.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was really impressed with this Motel 6; this was the nicest one I ever stayed at. The beds were comfortable, room was clean, and walking distant to the beach.
Cons: There is a foghorn that goes off all night long. This can be heard throughout Crescent City, not just this Motel. I was still able to sleep good.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: Good place
Cons: Expand breakfast items
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The facility was older, but was spotlessly clean and neat. Well run, good continental breakfast, and attentive staff. A real bargain for the price.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The room was large. Staff was friendly. Price was right. Starbucks was next door. And oddly enough, the 1 thing I appreciated the most was the overhang above the parking spots. I arrived in the middle of a downpour, & it helped to stay dry.
Cons: Nothing.
6.2 Good
Pros: The hotel was right along the main highway through town and easy accessible. For $55 a night there was also a small continental breakfast included with bagels, muffins, and cereal. Also the room included a coffee maker, hair dryer, microwave, and a small refrigerator with freezer...don't usually see those in more expensive hotels.
Cons: The WiFi had terrible connection, and although we couldn't see the dirt, our two year old's feet turned black from walking barefoot in the room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed and well kept grounds. We will definitely stay here again when in town and would now consider this chain in our travels.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Pool, great location, room had a fridge and freezer, microwave. We just hung out on the beach then warmed up in the hot tub. Would recommend this place and stay there again .
Cons: There was no "do not disturb" sign so every morning we were woken up by the room attendant banging on the door, I don't think she could hear me say "we're fine, thanks" so more banging while I ran around for clothes to open it and tell her. It wasn't super early, but I'm up all night due to work so I'm not a morning person! But they were friendly when I opened the door and just asked for a coffee serving refill.

Pros: For the price we paid, this was a really good hotel. I was impressed by the cleanliness especially. The room seemed to be in good order and was kept up well (no broken amenities, etc.)

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing about it.
