Cons: Nothing
8.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good. Staff was very friendly. Very responsive to emails. Rooms were clean and service was good. Plenty of daily towels.
Cons: The Hotel, the staff and location are all good. Unfortunately, the parking option provided by the hotel (separate property, as it is public parking garage) is not safe. Our car broken was broken into without there being anything left inside of it- visible nor put away.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a vibrant part of Old Town. We had a courtyard room so weren’t affected by any street noise. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was good.
Cons: The kitchenette was a bit lacking only very basic cutlery and crockery.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and great hotel. Perfect spot to be in Nice if you want to be in the Old Town. Staff were fantastic and overall we had a great stay at the hotel. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking to be in the center of Old Town!
Cons: Not much really. A little warm on the mezzanine level in our room, but there were two fans up there and the kids were fine sleeping.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing was amazing, i was with my family, 3 kids. Good location easy going with all shops and the old market in Nice, the staff was amazing and friendly.
Cons: They serve only French breakfast ( sweet food ) but I bought eggs from the grocery next door and i cook it in room in the lovely room kitchen.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great room and great staff. Love it!
Cons: We lived in a two bedrooms attic apartment. The size felt like an apartment, but there was no view.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location!
7.5 Good
Pros: Refreshing rooms nicely appointed
Cons: No lobby and tiny hotel entrance. The room we got on the first floor the first night was so close to the noisy street that we couldn't sleep until very late.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything from the location and proximity to the touristic areas. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Stephen, Nicolas, and the beautiful Daliana will make your stay happy and you'll love seeing them every day. I loved the room facilities and creativity in the exploitation of spaces in a practical way. A tribute to those who designed the hotel rooms. At this hotel you will need nothing but plan your daily schedule of visits. The hotel is very suitable if you are alone or with your partner and especially if you are with your children. I strongly recommend it.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Air conditioning was not as strong as we would like and made it harder to sleep.

Pros: Location
Cons: Service a bit erratic and not consistent with a hotel of this standard . Wasn’t wowed by the experience which was disappointing .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful Gardens and upkeep of all areas great
Cons: Price
7.5 Good
Cons: The room was fine, however the light didn’t work in the bathroom, they charged us €40 to park the car overnight despite my car being parked outside the front door. The window on my car was left open and I had to ask for it to be closed. The restaurant was fully booked and the room service was €71 for a club sandwich. Our room also smelled of cigarette smoke. Very disappointing overall given the price of the hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: Lovely, comfortable room with fantastic views. The hotel is beautiful, especially poolside.
Cons: The service just absolutely does not live up to the hotel’s reputation. The service is just completely lacking, especially in the restaurant, pool area. Room service price is absolutely extortionate and unnecessary. Felt perhaps like guests in more expensive rooms were treated with more care and attention.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The attention to detail and the service of the staff. Loved the view out to the sea each morning too!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning hotel and helpful friendly staff

Overview Reviews
Located in Èze (Old Town), Chateau Eza is within a 10-minute drive of Exotic Garden (Jardin Exotique) and Casino Monte Carlo. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
7.5 Good
Pros: Hotel bar, service quality, location, charm and general styling all this perfect and what you expect. But that’s all.
Cons: Ok, where to start... we paid over 1.300€/night for room, that was probably not under some serious maintance for last 5 years. Short list what was TOTALY wrong, especially compare to price. Bathroom - one of two sink doesn’t work, shower have damaged floor and death flies in lights, automatic toilet works so so, make up mirror was very damaged and light on it doesn’t work at all, tile under sink damaged, doors to toilet almost totaled. Cloakroom - old “ikea like” furniture, 3 diferent types of hangers, terribly cheap solution for cover window with cardboard paper and duct tape, not joking! Bedroom - bed was half destroyed, swinging just by sitting on it, on table some super old radio for iPhone 4 that loose it’s white color 3 years ago, original skylight on top of the room covered with same cardboard like cloakroom but with additional carpet, mark of water on wall from A/C. Living room - all repairs done on historic wall made with some kind of glue or whatever they have by hand at the time they did with total ignorance to any visual quality, which is general problem all over the room and balcony. Balcony - whirpool have not dirt, but definetly not clean water, worked just 2/3 of jets, head rest was removed completly and now the most f*cked thing in whole room - right on balcony is ventilation outlet from KITCHEN that smell from kitchen all day and it is incredibly loud even at 11pm, when I have to go to reception totaly angry ask if it’s possible to turn it off finaly. You can of course this noise hear even in bedroom!!! After I gave part of this little list at reception at time of checkout all I get was “sorry” and writing down some of the problems I mention here, no refund, no offer, not even parking for free as apology, NOTHING, NO-THING!!!! And as extra there was 286€ on final bill for dinner we haven’t!?!?!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room were just barely adequate. Two of us stayed in Corniche which had no view but was comfortable. The other room we had was not comfortable, no view and steep narrow stairs to a loft sleeping area. It was definitely not worth the walk up.
Cons: The second room was unacceptable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view is wonderful
Cons: It’s so hard to reach to the hotel
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view and the town. The staff were very friendly. The room was neat and tidy, in keeping with the limitations of the town.
Cons: We chose a bad day so the prices were steep.

Pros: Lovely view, the place to stay when in eze
Cons: Did not really know where to park my car when coming there and went to far up.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My mother and I returned to Chateau Eza after 23 years and the staff were incredibly understanding, caring, helpful and the most professional/friendly people we have ever met. Thank you for making it such a special experience for both of us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view from my “Superior”room was all I hoped it would be. Lovely special dinner. It was expensive but delicious and a wonderful memory. Staff was helpful and friendly. We believe we will go back someday.
Cons: Door locks were difficult to operate. Need hooks to hang towels and robes. Not a property for those with mobility issues.

Pros: Hotel very clean and comfortable. Bed was great. Location convenient close to main train station and on tram line. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Michaels, David, and breakfast chef (who helped with our bags on morning of Sept. 9.
Cons: Elevator doesn’t work at night and needs to wait until after 8AM for someone to arrive to turn it on! We were told this was true throughout France.

Pros: Great location, VERY close to train station, and an easy straight walk to the promenade and beach. Beds were very comfy, staff were very lovely and the FREE access to drinks (water bottles, soft drinks and coffee machine) was awesome!
Cons: -

Pros: Staff fantastic Great linens Wonderful duvet Loved free water, soda, coffee, tea in breakfast room 24 hours
Cons: Nothing
6.5 Good
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Key disadvantage: no refrigerator. Small spaces, non-functional bathroom, Bad air condition, old and cramped elevator.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very close to the sea (approx. 15 minutes walk or two stations only), as a highlight we got a nice balcony next to the street and could enjoy some fresh air every night - great! Altogether clean rooms and quiet stay.
Cons: Due to the extremely positive feedbacks we expected something special, in our case the balcony was definitely a great surprise. Without that you get a normal 4* room without special comfort, cupboard or minibar (in our case). One negative aspect is certainly the breakfast room which is VERY small and narrow, luckily we had not booked any breakfast before.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large comfortable superior room with lot of natural light. Christo at the reception was very helpful .
Cons: There were no tea making facility in the room. Would be nice to have an electric kettle.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good aircondition Very friendly staff Central location I got a balcony
Cons: It was not sound proof The bathroom was impractical, one had to go in behind the toilet to close the door so that you could access the shower behind the door.

Cons: Notorious area for pick-pocketers - which we experienced.
9.6 Excellent

Pros: Closeness to Rail and Centre of City
Cons:
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I have visited 27 countries, I saw a lot of different hotels. But this hotel is the worst hotel that I have ever seen! I was afraid to take a shower, because it was ssooo dirty! it is not 30star hotel. I will not even give 1 star to it! The lamp in the toilet was blinking like at the discoteque and the staff did nothing to help us. Staff was not aatentive, not smily, they just didn't care about anything. The door of the toilet didn't close. Wallpapers were 3 cm from the walls. It is a peppergrass for 100 euro per night!!!
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: only location
Cons: my air conditioner is not work, but i got only 10 euro back . It too expensive for the room without air conditioner
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Please write at least 15 words
Cons: Dirty tired.uncomfortable beds. Miles from the beach.Inedible breakfast disgusting outlook.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: It was located in an area that I would not consider safe; it would be better further south but were not made aware. Because of safety, a car park would have helped for coming back late.

Pros: The hostess spoke perfect English and was very welcoming. She asked us what we would like to do during our stay and she helped us plot our time accordingly. She suggested a little beach and a wonderful restaurant on that beach for an early dinner which was magical. There was parking available upon request.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner and the staff and the location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Where to start! Hospitality and charm! THE LOCATION - perched above a beautiful Mediterranean seascape, viewed from my private terrace and from the dining terrace. GETTING THERE - bus stop 'Les 4 Chemins' is almost outside the door - use Zest bus 100 (Nice to Menton, 1.5€ per trip) or Lignes D'azure bus 110 (from just outside the Nice airport terminal, 22€). Or the train - a 5 minute walk. If using the train, be aware you'll need to carry your luggage uphill with narrow or non existant footpaths. There's a shortcut via a network of staircases. HELPFUL STAFF - the three ladies, Patricia, Marine and Muriel were always totally helpful and ensured m.y stay was amazing. No question was to hard - they even helped with bus and train timetables and suggestions for sightseeing. THE AREA - wow! Beautiful azure Mediterranean beaches (two), one with its own little cafè right there on the beach. Beautiful walks around Cap Martin and up to the amazing old town (Vieux Village). Hidden amongst the hobbit-like stone nooks and crannies of the old town were some lovely restaurants and cafes. And the view at the top near the chateau were to die for! Well worth the steep climb. Good place to base yourself for visiting Menton, Monaco and Ventimiglia (across the border - nb on Fridays is market day and the trains are packed). THE FOOD - I only had breakfast there, but wow - what a breakfast! I've never been keen on continental breakfast but this one broke the mould. A basket of lovely fresh fruit including cherries, gooseberries, strawberries, apricots, banana and avocado. A basket of fresh warm bread with a croissant and brioche bun. Lovely coffee with warm milk, and a little jug of iced water - all very 'French'. And all in the terrace with the sparkling Mediterranean sea right there! They provide lunch and dinner too. Hôtel Le Roquebrune is definitely a great place to stay!
Cons: Nothing not to like - it was wonderful!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful welcome from Patricia and a beautiful room for my daughters and I.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view is amazing. The hotel was clean and cozy and elegant. The staff is amazing, kind and helpful. Would go back anytime.
Cons: Access to the beach is some 300 steps down. It’s fine, but for people who can’t walk well, it’s difficult. There are no shops near.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I like how prompt and understanding Patricia was. She was friendly, warm, super efficient, helpful and took care of everything we needed. I would go back just for her! And the super view and location of course.
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful private little spot in La Turbie with views over monaco and summer palace. The apartment itself has its own private driveway and entrance. Sophie, our host, was wonderful. She made a lovely breakfast which she served on the terrace and gave us directions to the apartment when we got a little lost due to the one way system. The room had everything you needed with a walk in closet! For our romantic weekend getaway it was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sophie was a wonderful hostess. She is so keen for you to enjoy your stay. The room has a fab view and even though you are attached to the house you are completely private with separate driveway and entrance. Breakfast was amazing every day. Great place for exploring the mountains, less than 5 mins into La Turbie, 40 mins walk to Monaco, steep climb back up but you can always catch the bus. The little touches throughout our stay made our holiday special. Pure delight!

Pros: The hotel is right on the beach, they provided us with beach towels and 2 bottles of water daily. Additionally, it has a nice terrace with long chairs, shower and a hammock. The breakfast selection was small but tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend their on-site restaurant - has fantastic dishes.
Cons: There aren't many things to do or explore in the area, but it's very close to the train station (few stops away from Antibes or Nice).

7.9 Good
Pros: Courtesy of the staff. Not at the city center but close enough by car. We only stayed for 1 night so we did not use the hotel facilities. Pool seemed good.
Cons: No mini bar at the room, you need to order before 10:00 pm.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The view from the balcony in our room, which was on top floor of the building. The pool area was ok, but also a bit outdated för a 4 star hotel.
Cons: Main road traffic next to the premises was a bit disturbing if you consider the price of the room. Room extremely small and needs refurbishing, not 4 star quality, but 3. This also goes for the breakfast. No restaurant in the hotel and dangerous to walk and cross the main road leading to St Paul (a 20 minutes walk, not 10 and very dark). No safe in the room. sWe will not return to this hotel since standard to low in relation to price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel 10 mins walk from St Paul de Vence. Rooms are beautifully decorated and all facing swimming pool. Staff was really nice and helpful too. Highly recommended.
Cons: nothing
5.0 Okay

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Well equipped kitchenette. Daily cleaning.
Cons: Tiolet and shower room were separate and there was no hand washing facilities in the toilet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a very cosy apartment-hotel. Fully equipped. Very comfortable beds. Close to supermarket and the seaside. Very pleasant personnel.
Cons: Everything was fine. :-)
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Changing the sheets more often
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well situated for all attractions
Cons: Prepayment well before arrival
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice terrace, nice appartment
Cons: Far from train station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location near to beach
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, clean room and a friendly and helpful staff. We liked our stay at Villa Velvet very much. The place s close to the beach and restaurants, yet conveniently far from the main street and thus silent and quiet, enabling for a nice terrace breakfasts. Staff was very friendly and supportive, we received umbrellas and some extra beach stuff for free to enjoy the sun time. Building and rooms are clean and modern, cleaned every day. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen (the larger room had a washing maschine which was totally cool). Villeneuve-Loubet is a small town which looks as a typical summer seaside village, but once you discover the old village you will find it amazing. Also, it is very close to Nice, Moncao, Eze and also some fantastic cities like Saint Paul de Vence or Valbonne (totally recommended!). Overall, a very good location for a vacation stay!
Cons: We had two rooms, the smaller one had a great terrace for morning breakfasts or evening wine discussions. The larger was more comfortable due to size, but the two points potentially worth mentioning: there were a separate toilet room and a separate shower room (located at opposite parts of the apartment). This was ok, but in the toilet there were no sink to wash hands, so you need to go the shower room. Kinda weird design I must say. The other thing you should be aware is that the room located on ground zero at the back of the building is a bit dark - it has an own small garden patio but is a bit hidden from sun. Not a huge disadvantage but clearly visible as compared to front side rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was excellent. A small studio but lovely and clean. The small kitchenette was well appointed with excellent oven and microwave - mind you we only used it to heat our morning croissants! The women at reception was very helpful and spoke excellent English, slightly better then my French. Supermarket and good restaurants nearby. We had.a car so getting to Nice was not.a problem but public transport was not quite so frequent as the location is outside the main Nice bus routes but there is a train station not far away. All in all an excellent place to stay.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, Villa Velvet was in the perfect location. Our apartment was cleaned every day and the staff were very welcoming and friendly - their English was far better than our poor French! The apartment was very secure - we had our own key and a code to come and go at our leisure.
Cons: The room was a little small - we stayed in a studio apartment - but we did have 6 weeks worth of luggage with us!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, cleanliness, and attentive staff are unparalleled.
Cons: N/A
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location, the food, the personel, the elevator
Cons: The whole hotel has more feeling of the old luxury hotel from last century. Hotel needs a complete fresh up. On the other hand it would be a waste of a piece history and old fashioned taste.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Decor of room and hotel was magnificent as always The staff were friendly and efficient which made our stay very pleasurable and the revamped La Ronde looked great and the food was terrific
Cons: The bathroom flooded when having a shower over bath tub which was simply unworkable and irritated me immensely at the time making me reluctant to stay again although our previous stays have been great with Thierry indulging my wife with photos each year
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fresh buffet breakfast is served each morning at the ' La Rotonde restaurant' but its a shame they have refurbished it recently, i was so badly wanting to see the Carousel in its glory which would have added to the quirkiness of the hotel. We sat on most days on the terrace, outside the restaurant to be able to enjoy the views, our table overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The food and the views were worth it !! The few best things about this hotel are its excellent location , its also beautifully decorated inside with art and antiques everywhere and has a beautiful period fully functioning lift from a by gone era of quality. They also have a relationship with the beach across the street so you are able to just walk a few steps and be on your sunbed in no time. From Grace Kelly and Micheal Jackson, from the Beatles to Liz Taylor, the list of internationally known stars that have graced the Negresco is impressive. This has been listed by the government of France as a National Historic Building and you can see it on most postcards of Nice .Your always in awe, thinking whether this is a Hotel or a Museum.
Cons: Our Rivoli rooms were the nicely refurbished one albeit the air con was difficult to operate and the room was very warm. Also the staff at the check in was a tad bit grumpy maybe she had a bad day other that that , but other than that , it was great!!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Excellent location , good food.
Cons: Stuff were very dismissive and unhelpful at all. Very disappointing. Rooms weren’t clean enough.
6.0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We received a room with a sea view which made it hard for us to leave it every day. Hotel is doing a great job in maintaining the authenticity of the rooms. Valet service was always prompt irrespective of the time of day/night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, stuff friendly , hotel beautiful itself
Cons: Bed and pillows could be more comfortable
6.0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of things to choose from, and it was nice to sit outside in the garden to eat. Secure onsite parking was nice and appreciated, and for 5 Euros, was a good deal! Exceeded my expectations for sure.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, greeting us with smiles always! The double room was very spacious, immaculately clean with excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was again extremely clean with fresh towels and linen provided daily. We were able to make use of the Chantilly's parasols and beach mats for free which made our time on the beach much more comfortable. On our last day we took the breakfast and it was fantastic! Home made cakes, fresh bread, croissants, fresh fruit, cheese, meats....the list goes on! We would not hesitate to return to the Chantilly on our next visit to Cagnes Sur Mer.
Cons: Nothing, everything was fabulous!

7.9 Good
Pros: Relatively close to the seashore and to the Nice Airport, an alternative place to Nice where it’s too expensive in high season. The owner staffs are very nice. She recommended us aux Planches restaurant. We had two great dinners there.
Cons: The bathroom dose not have a ventilation system!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast comfort bed!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Frederique and Gerard were great hosts. They were so welcoming. Try to remember when an owner helped you with your bags to your room or showed you around the breakfast buffet. The location id superb. Close to train station and beach. Dozens of good restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard for me bit my wife was just fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach, city centre and train station. Lovely terrace to have breakfast. Wonderful hosts, thoughtful and considerate. Comfortable, clean and good size room.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a charming hotel beside the Hippodrome, where there are sulky races on hot summer nights. It's a short walk to a nice, although rather pebbly beach, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hosts are welcoming and polite, and the breakfast - outside in a secluded front garden area - is simple but pleasant.
Cons: The breakfast buffet area is rather small and if there are other guests staying, it gets a bit crowded. At one point in our stay there was a strong odour from the toilets.

7.9 Good
Pros: Location is great, close to public beach and to all the shops. Rooms are okay size, clean. Staff is friendly, helpful and nice. Didn’t use it, but there is a tea/coffee machine free of charge 24/7.
Cons: Breakfast is a very weak point, assortment is very poor, okay for 1 or 2 days stay, but after that we couldn’t eat same food during all the stay. Parking is available for guests but too expensive, 18€/day, when public is at 10€ per day. We found the hotel sightly overpriced, but it’s côte d’Azur in August :)
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location, good breakfast, comfortable rooms and helpful staff

Pros: Great location in heart of Menton just a block from the lovely old town and the ocean. Nice friendly staff and great breakfast. Not the height of luxury of course but you’re not paying for that but you get clean, modern rooms with large bathroom etc. Would recommend.
Cons: Nothing really.

The dinner at the restaurant was beyond everything and the service was completely flawless. We had a problem with our rental car and Madame Cirino was a great help for hours to solve the problem. Exceptional experience. Thank you so much

Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hostellerie Jerome is an unique not only with position overlooking Monaco bay, bit hide in narrow streets of the crowded village of La Turbie but there is extra value with Michelin 2019 restaurant in the first floor
Cons: Believe or not staff in two stars Michelin restaurant wasn't able to help with the selection of the wine, completely out of knowledge in Sauvignons and same thing with Champagne.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Its a hostel bij an Michelin star Restaurant. And it IS a Micheline Star restaurant with an amazing view on Monaco. If you are passionate for good food and amazing authentic locations can afford it :) its a place to be ! Breakfast was just a taste of heaven!

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming historic property with lovely views and wonderful staff.
Cons: A bit tough to reach due to narrow roads but worth the effort. A bit further from Nice than anticipated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old chateau very well converted into this rabbit warren of a hotel.
Cons: I wouldn’t say we disliked anything. Only don’t try to get your car there, it’s down a tiny, tiny road. The hotel have a car that can collect you and your luggage from the nearby security car park. The security car park doesn’t take big or expensive cars by the way.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in an amazing old village, with winding cobblestone streets. The hotel is a tastefully converted old castle on a cliff, which makes for a very unique experience. The restaurant had the most delightful view overlooking the sea. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were all very helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely situation in a Medieval village of note, great sea views and really super attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. Easy to walk up into the village, or down into the newer town. Very easy from the airport. Excellent attentive staff.
Cons: The location doesn't provide a relaxed outside seating area. There isn't much they can do about it, it is in a tight village setting. You have to be able to walk including stairs but if you can't do this you shouldn't be staying in a Medieval hill top village.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Although the location was a little remote and access was slightly difficult, it was a peaceful and lovely option to staying in Nice which was about 25 minutes by car. We have been there twice and would stay there again. Beautiful place.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent dining, amazing local history and clean.
Cons: No hotel parking but superb free taxi service to lower valley car parks by staff
6.3 Good
Pros: The building is lovely and the terrace is nice.
Cons: Our room, which we chose based on the various deluxe room photos online, doesn’t appear online. It was a strange room with an internal staircase leading downstairs (within the room) to a cave-like room with low ceilings and tiny/short opaque windows. The room size is fine, but not at all like the other deluxe rooms shown online. My husband hit his head on the ceiling multiple times and I was challenged with my claustrophobia, with the ceiling probably 5’10”. Sink and shower didn’t drain well. We queried the reception about whether this was what we had reserved and it had a plaquard saying it was a deluxe room, so because we arrived late and tired, we didn’t argue.
5.0 Okay
Pros: This is a neat property in a very old part of town. View from balcony and room was very nice (we had a premium room).
Cons: There is not much they can do about it but parking anywhere near the building is not possible. Breakfast is expensive. Dinner menu very limited but we found a restaurant nearby that was great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All the rooms are named after painters. there is a gallery above the main reception, a bar and some interesting windows out the front of the hotel which we found after breakfast. Our room (Besset) was at the back of the hotel and full of antique furniture up on the third floor/roof of the hotel. The shower room was compact but well designed with a choice of toiletries. There is a lift and excellent air conditioning. The hotel is found in narrow pedestrian streets and the hotel is decorated beautifully- magnificent ambience. The staff are relaxed and come to fetch your cases from the car (which may be parked quite far away.) You can take a relaxed breakfast on the outdoor terrace.
Cons: Be very careful to find the car park instead of trying to drive to the hotel. It is impossible (and may be nerve wracking!) unless your car is tiny! The streets get narrower and narrower. We liked everything but the breakfast was quite expensive at 25 euros. Nice though. Worth it for the terrace experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful

Cons: TV too small.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Excellent for promonade.
Cons: Beach area is stoney so you will need special shoes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect. Right across the road from the beach. Several restaurants within 10 minutes walk, 20 minutes stroll to the main harbour area. Supermarkets and train station within 10 minutes. The room was a good size, and the balcony overlooking the sea was fabulous. The 7th floor sunbathing deck with plunge pool was the icing on the cake.
Cons: The WiFi was a little intermittent which caused some irritation, whilst the hand held shower was a bit clumbersome. But these are really very minor points and shouldn’t put anyone off.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Very poor selection, location was not good due to the amount of traffic and speed on the coast road.
Cons: Poor breakfast for the price that was charged. The road at the front of the hotel was dangerous to cross, especially for young children as you could never be sure if vehicles would stop. Needs a crossing with lights in order to cross safely to the beach.

Cons: Expensive taxis
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is great and the staff has been very nice.
Cons: The breakfast could be better with fresh juice, real coffee and cooked eggs, ...
7.9 Good
Pros: The panoramic views from the room, the lobby and restaurant areas and of course, the infinity pool are second to none! The ever smiling and warm-hearted reception - bonus points for attending to us in professional and friendly manner.
Cons: The bed was not as comfy as it looked. My partner and I both had bit of a sore back the next morning and we think it was because of the 2 single beds being joined together for a "double-bed". Also found a dust/hair ball in the main bedroom space - this could be ignored has a one-ff oversight by the cleaners prepping the room perhaps.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice little hotel - very clean and nice pool area The views were amazing
Cons: A bit out of town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the view so much
Cons: The food on this stay wasn’t as good for dinner as it was in the past
7.9 Good
Pros: Property was new and room was large and had lots of light. The pool was beautiful!!
Cons: The food was really terrible, especially for the price. I’m not really sure how. The restaurant closes at 10pm and no room service so make sure you eat before getting there.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice dinner terrace
Cons: Service in restaurant was very bad, both at breakfast and dinner.
7.5 Good
Cons: There was a big mis-communication re a pickup from the Cruise pier. After multiple calls, we still had no one to pick us up. We finally made our own way to the hotel with the help of the Pier personnel.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location , wonderful view. U cannot get enough of the view. The infinite swimming pool is wonderful! The breakfast buffet choices are few in my opinion, beside this everything was gr8! Thanks
7.1 Good
Pros: Superb setting and views, beautiful infinity pool. Restaurant menu was excellent although execution let them down.
Cons: Service was charming but not the most efficient - had to ask several times for any request to be met

7.1 Good
Pros: It was close to my work place.
Cons: The view is amazing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The two woman that own the hotel are amazing and extremely helpful unlike most French .. I believe it’s because they are Italian and speak French :) they are very sweet , I highly recommend this place and the price is unbeatable .
Cons: Rooms a tiny bit small
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff here was absolutely wonderful. Lucia and Nicole did so much to help my husband and I, who were in terrible need of help because we made the mistake of staying in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin without a car. For some reason I was wrongly under the impression that we were staying "in town." This is not a pedestrian friendly area, there are few taxis and the ones that do exist are extremely expensive. There are no restaurants or a shops where you can get water within walking distance which made it difficult and a poor choice of location with kids and no car. Thankfully the Monaco - Menton 100 bus is right out front, which allows for traveling to other areas and Lucia and Nicole helped us arrange taxis and navigate all our journeys out of Roquebrune with endless patience. The rooms are very small but very clean and the water view was wonderful. The Roquebrune Castle and old village are certainly magical and well worth seeing.
Cons: location
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice receptionist, good location
Cons: No kettle or tea or coffee, small room for 3 people. No sea view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An exceptional view of the Mediterranean from our sea view balcony room and the owner speaks French, Italian and English.
Cons: I cannot make a negative comment.

Cons: Very short and hard beds.
