Pros. Salvatore, our driver to Epcot was very pleasant. Housekeeping was pleasant. The groundskeeper was pleasant. The resort was clean. The construction was a good distance away and was not bothersome at all.
Cons. The mattresses needed flipping or to be replaced. They both had a big dip in them on one side and no matter how far away you got from it you would still roll down into it. The bus ride was a long way away from the theme parks. I also think they could have done a much better job with food/drinks while the construction was going on. It was pretty poor. The lady checking us in to our room was nice but needed info. repeated to her over and over again. I feel like we stayed at a budget Disney Resort while paying a moderate Disney Resort price.
Cons. On April 18, 2018, I flew to Orlando with my teenage daughter to spend two days at Disney World. We checked into the Disney Caribbean resort, then went to the theme parks. We stayed at Magic Kingdom until midnight, because of extended magic hours. By the time we got back to our room on the bus and went to bed, it was 1 AM. I was abruptly awaken at 8AM by construction pounding outside of my room. I let front desk know and asked for a construction discount. I was told that since I did not book my room over a year ago in March 2017, I would not get a construction discount (that’s a weird answer). I was also told 8 AM is construction time. I explained that we were at magic hours until midnight and that it would be smart to rethink construction time on nights when there’s magic hours. The response from the front desk was overall disappointing, condescending, and brought no resolution to my complaint. That night, after staying at Magic Kingdom until it closed at 10p and then going to Disney Springs, we once again were asleep well after midnight. I was again abruptly awoken at 5:30am by people loudly yelling into a microphone at the Disney Marathon at Epcot - At Epcot! - I wasn’t at Epcot! It was so loud it was as if I was there! I took video. I called the front desk (twice), Disney security, and the Orange County Sheriffs department. Nobody would do anything to remedy the noise. They all said, “yeah, that’s the race.” We had to wait over an hour until it was over. After eventually falling back asleep, I was abruptly awoken again by construction workers at 9am outside my window laughing and talking so loudly. I have more video. Then, about 30 seconds later, House keeping knocked on my door asking if I’d checked out yet because they wanted to clean my room. Check out is at 11am, not 9am. We were trying to sleep!! I love Disney and the theme parks. My family and I have been going for years. However, this was by far one of the most careless and unrestful resort experiences I’ve had. The peripheral activity, excessive volume, and mostly, the unsympathetic attitude of the Disney staff was extremely un-magical.
Pros. Caribbean Beach resort is just beautiful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons. Undergoing renovation so the dining options are limited, but what is there is very good.
Pros. Bus service was prompt 100%; Room was ok but nothing fabulous; Food staff was spectacular but could not make up for the 2/3 choices of quick service options
Cons. Construction! Was advised ahead of time but not to the extent of the contruction. Gift shop was a converted food truck; Food was limited. Think not as much variety as eating at a 7-11. Distance to food required getting on a bus and taking a 15 minute ride or a 40 min walk looking at construction or fabric sheeting hiding the construction; I've stayed on property 50+ times and have never been so disappointed. Room was not discounted and it should have cost less than a value
Pros. I stayed here as a kid more than 20 years ago and it's still just what I remember. Everything is spotless, the staff is compareable to any four seasons, and for Disney the price is great.
Cons. The only draw back was the lack of late night dinner options at the resort. They are rebuilding the little downtown area so there is only a buffet available for breakfast lunch and dinner. They wrap that up at nine. We ended up eating all of our meals at the park or from a food truck at the resort. It's just growing pains and will make this place even better in the future.
Cons. Front desk hard to understand. Issue with check in. They failed to properly link my credit card to room.
Cons. The food court facilities and transportation to the theme parks were inadequate for a resort so large.
Pros. The room was comfortable and clean.
Cons. A lot of rooms packed into each building. The food court was always hectic and busy but did seem to have everything we needed for a few days.
Pros. Landscape was nice and the location was quiet. I can rest quietly here after a long day in Disney.
Cons. The blinds has a gap in between and since we were placed near the stairs everyone from second floor will most likely passed our room. I hope they provide a bigger curtain that does not has a gap in between .
