Location Bed was uncomfortable and did not have enough covers shower was outdated and shower head was cheap No coffee station in room Sparsely decorated
Walking distance to downtown San jose & Staff was great
We were very impressed with the staff all around, reception, bellmen, cleaning staff etc. Lots and lots of hidden fees that will drive up your bill significantly.
Can't really think of anything. 1. Room was dated. 2. Room with a view had no view. 3. Parking was expensive. 4. Hotel had no charm or allure (other than the advertised picture).
Rooms Staff at the door
Fancy, various locations to eat and enjoy yourself with partner and great America in a 13 min drive distance just a great stay after all and great valet service Beware of an extra 100$ charge at check in just in case you break anything in the hotel but will be refunded after check out and line is to long with no one trying to help them out to make the line go faster
Great hotel, room and staff! Got free upgrade upon arrival and an extra 1/2 hour checkout time so we could go to the next door art museum without a hassle.
Clean, comfortable, upscale, great location in heart of city near restaurants, businesses, arena, light rail, freeway. Wonderful accomodations. Easy check- and check-out. Expensive parking. We parked in a garage one block from the hotel to avoid unreasonable $26 nightly fee. Most big cities charge this much, and higher, but why do have to shrug our shoulders and say, "that"s just the way it is". It feels like the baggage fees on the airlines.
I liked that it was downtown close to bars, clubs and restaurants.
Clean rooms with feel of knowing they are clean Ac went out. Super hot. Small beds
Wonderful environment, great Beds close to San Jose Convention Center. Very Friendly Staff, impecible Service.
A property in the Fairmont family. Being in historical downtown next to sites of value. Relying on amenities of a high end hotel which did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful in all encounters. Extra fees for wifi these days seems unnecessary. Having to use hotel cards to go between tower and main facility (although security is appropriate).
Pay WiFi with speed tiers.
Great room overall, clean hotel in excellent location. Close to shops, food, and activities. Great service and friendly staff. Convenient parking (though it costs extra even without valet) garage connected to the hotel. Only a block away from Original Joe's. Despite a few quirks, I would stay here again. Charge for WiFi (unless you are an Elite member), ridiculous prices for snack shop food and goods ($5 for a Dairy Milk candy bar, $6 for an Odwalla Smoothie!), $45 for a t-shirt! Also, the hotel smells like the air freshener they pipe in at many of the Las Vegas hotels (could be a plus if you like that). Also, the choice of "aromatherapy" soaps are awful--why not go the clean, fresh scent of soap instead of burned wood?
Top notch hotel. Clean, newly remodeled, all amenities & on site restaurants etc The valet. He did not specify pricing of valet vs self park or exactly where self park was located.
The proximity to the convention center and civic hall was crucial for my team's stay and this property is next to both. The accomadations and staff were excellent. I would recommend splurging a little fir the concierge lounge.
Excellent location, top choice for San Jose. Walking distance to major attractions and night life in the area. Excellent VTA transit access as well. Also consider the Hilton and Fairmont nearby. Valet parking is $29 with in/out privileges. This is a reasonable price for the area.
The valet service was overwhelmed since the hotel had no self park option. Plus, the valet was serving guests who weren't even staying at the hotel but attending a concert or conference in the area. It's a bit ridiculous that it takes 20 minutes to drop off a car with valet and another 20 minutes to pick it up.
I really Liked its location, we were attending a event at the convention center and the hotel is actually leads into the convention center. That was great! We didn't have to walk at all. All staff members were extremely nice and willing to offer any help that they could offer. The hotel was very busy due to the event, but the staff still dealt with customers in a very polite and friendly manner. I also wanted to say thank you to this hotel for not treating us any different than there other guest, we have been to other hotels and due to our ethnic background have been treated like we were some how less. This hotel did an excellent job treating everybody well and respectively Thank you so much! Some of the things that we weren't so pleased with that room service had certain hours and that it wasn't 24 hours and that the rooms were a little smaller than what we excepted. But overall we had a great experience
Room was very quiet, even with all of the airplane traffic on approach to San Jose Airport.
Had a problem with the first room but they helped me switch rooms no questions asked
room size old decor poor food choices old shower old amenities unclean pool
They overbooked rooms. We booked and paid for our room weeks in advance. When we arrived late at night with our three children, they told us they didn't have a room for us and sent us to another hotel. It was pretty awful.
The room was clean and tidy. Very simple, no art or decor to speak of. The lobby looked new and modern. Staff was very professional and nice. The HHonors floor was still in carpet from the 90's. Very old and out-dated. The room was very dated as well. My daughter who is 5'4" could press on the ceiling tiles, they were so low and old.
Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast. The hotel nickel and dimes you. $2.50 for bottled water, $19 a day for parking, expensive breakfast and dinner.
Love that every room has their own balcony for fresh air. Great ammenities down stairs and friendly staff! I always enjoy the excellent customer service here. The location of the hotel is convienent, close to restaurants, shopping, and airport. Going in and out of the parking lot became an issue. At the Doubletree guests have the option of valet or self park (you are charged a nightly fee per night). We chose to self park, upon entering and exiting guests must use a parking ticket to do so, the parking meter ended up not working so we'd be stuck for 15-20 minutes along with everyone else trying to get out. They should use room keys for this versus paper tickets that eventually get bent out of shape.
Warning: Parking is NOT free at this hotel, not even for guests. You'll be forced to pay $20 to park per night! This made for a very obnoxious surprise during check-in.
Restaurants in hotel close to airport Rooms were outdated
Rooms are spacious and clean. You have to pay for almost everything else; internet, parking, breakfast.
I was charged twice for parking at the hotel. We were not allowed in/out entry into the parking area with our room keys. I was charged for parking at the parking gate and on my final bill. I called the hotel for REFUND and I haven't seen the refund on my bank statement as of this moment.
Breakfast Small room, no pool or spa
The room looks clean and nice (1) The materials for bathroom and bathtub look very cheap...like Motel 6 (2) Soap scum were very where inside the bathroom, around the walls, in between the tiles, on the floor...yuck..yuck...yuck. (3) Dust was very where inside the bathroom, on top of base board, surrounding water faucet... (4) Faucet inside the bathtub was rusty and dirty. This should be easily to take care of with $10 spray paint for home depot. (5) Rest room located on the first floor was not clean or not being cleaned regularly. Trash was overflown and just can't believe this happened at the Hyatt hotel. I would never come back here again.
Guys at the front desk are all super nice. Lady at the front desk could try smiling.
Is a great hotel, in my groups opinion it was better suited for many people than the Fairmount Hotel. Next year for fanime we will be staying at the Arena Hotel the whole time.
The hotel is dated and could use a remodel, but it was reasonably priced. The room was clean, large but old. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom which we didn't use. The switches and timer where outside the bathroom which dated the place. Still the room was good for what we needed it for. We had a good stay there.
Everything, from cleanliness of our room to the friendly service.
The room was beautifully remodeled with high ceilings and lots of space. Continental breakfast was filling and fresh. My first impression of the hotel was not great, however, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms above us were a little noisy.
Walk to the SAP Center. Free parking. Free breakfast. Nice rooms!
This is the best place to stay if you don't want to drive when attending an event at the SAP Center, which is less than a 10-minute walk. I also like that the place is very clean, the hotel and our room. My friend was in town to attend a concert with me and we were both very happy with the accommodations, especially since we just wanted a clean, safe place to stay and this was the place. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent too. They had hot and cold options. The hotel is a bit dated but my main concern is cleanliness and safety.
Nice staff Being woke up at 3am due to excessive loud noise outside the hotel window
Location was convenient The staff was unfriendly, I did not feel welcome. The lighting in the room was terrible, air conditioning difficult to adjust, and carpet was dirty
Lighting in the room was poor, the shower temperature would constantly fluctuate between scolding hot and just barely warm. The hallways still smelled of fresh paint and carpet was a bit tattered. Location isn't bad and the staff and breakfast was great.
Close proximity to SAP center for events. New carpet and furnishings. Had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in the room. Air conditioner did not work, it was blowing hot air. Bathroom was dingy looking but superficially clean. Their recent remodel did not include the bathroom.
Beautiful grounds Nice rework of what was there previously Nice pool and hot tub Good lounge Ample parking Comfortable bed Difficult to get to (in the middle of a neighborhood) Staff wouldn't print me a receipt (big issue on business travel) Pool / spa could be open later
The grounds are really nice with a large and comfortable patio seating area and swimming pool. The furnishings in the room were old, old, old, and poorly decorated.
Driving up the residential street and coming upon the entrance for the 1st time gives you a feeling of stepping back in time to another era. The attention to detail and the beautiful wood trim all around gave a feeling of a very special place. I had only one night to explore the mansion and surroundings.
I had called ahead to make sure I coukd check in late, but when i got there, I couldn't find the front desk person (or anyone) for 5 minutes, then when I finally found her, she found my reservation, but couldn't tell what rooms were available & so had to call her manager, and long story short, it was just over half an hour between when I walked in the front door and walked into my room. She said it was her second day, which I can only imagine is really overwhelming, so I was trying to be patient, and I've had good experiences every other time I've stayed there, but i have to say, this one left a sour taste in my mouth.
Great grounds and plenty of character; a relaxing venue with history and luxury.
Used condom wrapper in the drawer. Need i say more.
We stayed here 1 night in room 121. It was a suite with easy access to the swimming pool. The back door lead right to the swimming pool. The pool looks bigger in the picture but it's still a excellent size. The staff was great and Sunday brunch was delicious. Good hotel to relax and get away from the regular 9-5. The only thing I can critique is we were there on a Saturday and there's was nothing special for dinner. The bar food was ok and room service food was ok. No restaurants walking distance but no big deal. Everything was releasing
Staff incredibly attentive The shortness of our stay
The staff was very helpful when it was found out that the website I had booked through hadn't communicated with the hotel fully and they had to go digging for my reservation. But I got a room, it was very nice, even if a bit cramped, but that didn't detract from my stay. The grounds were very nice. I enjoyed their exercise room, it was more filled out than most hotels. I just wish I had had warmer weather to enjoy the pool and more time to enjoy every other feature of Hayes Mansion.
Everything from the room/bathroom was spotless incredibly clean . beautiful place to stay. Absolutely no negative comments to say.also GREAT STAFF! Very helpful and on point..even if I have to go out of my way to stay here again it would be worth it.very quite also.no traffic noises etc.will be back for another stay asap!!!
We loved the late night pantry
room service was delicious and fast. Stay was very comfortable. Beautiful large bathroom. Great location.
The bathrooms were well furnished... Better than the actual rooms. The staff was very friendly. True price I paid was not worth the room. It was a very crampt room with ancient furniture. The rooms were a boring shade of beige and our window view was another building being constructed. It's layout seemed more that of a comfort inn with a price tag of 90 dollars a night rather than 150. It's not worth the price, if you have a car go to a comfort inn and save some money cause got the same experience.
The newly renovated rooms and baths are simple and elegant. The Hedley Club lounge serves good food & cocktails. Conveniently located in downtown San Jose, short walk to Convention center. The room lacked many standard amenities: 1) password protected, high speed Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi was free, slow and unsecured) 2) in room safe large enough to fit a laptop 3) stocked mini-bar (empty mini-fridge provided but there were no vending machines or in hotel shop to buy snacks & drinks) 4) in room guide/magazine with local/city info
Little overpriced. Overpriced.
Convenient location, rooms are spacious Staff who were responsible for room service, hotel operator on phone were outright rude
It's super clean, the staff is friendly, the rooms are nice, there is a hot tub, there is a gym, the mattress is phenomenal -- best night of rest, it's quiet, it's in a good location for restaurants/shopping. It's a good stop if you're in the area. No complaints.
Staycation Paradse... Ran away Halloween night... Great food drinks and security keep fun a perfect balance
Great hot tub and pool in a convenient location right in Santana row. Spacious rooms, well furnished and decorated. A welcome respite from Silicon Valley. N/a
The Valencia Hotel is one of my all time favourite hotels. the location is excellent, priced competitively and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great service!
Fun location, great vibe, beautiful common areas and outdoor living space. Wonderful breakfast included with room. Called to confirm pool was open (November) with beverage service, were told it was and that someone would come out to offer us drinks. Nobody ever came for 3 hours.
the cleanliness and uniqueness of the room and facility
Very comfortable room. Close to shopping and great food.
It is in the ghetto. Don't plan on leaving the hotel at night.
I was very please with the easy check in and check out process. The room was very clean, the bedding was very comfortable. The pool area was very clean and my family enjoyed night swimming as the pool was heated. It's near shopping and eating and the parking was easy. The only thing that was slightly uncomfortable was the airconditioner. It's so close to one of the beds that the air is blowing on you the entire night.
There was a large party going on in the banquet rooms, which you heard throughout the hotel. The worse part was when it was wrapping up. not sure what was being moved...i.e.: large furniture or equipment... But after 11 pm, it is inexcusable. I would definitely not use this hotel on Friday or Saturday night due to the noise levels.
I love the rooms. They are clean and well maintained. I feel comfortable in every room I've stayed in. The service is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoy coming back to this Four Points time and time again.
They actually have great cable, very friendly staff, just overall a great experience!
Our bed was comfortable and room was clean Requested early check in and rooms close together for our group. We were late for our function due to late check in because of hotel and weren't even given rooms on the same floor as our friends. Staff said they were giving us an upgrade for our inconvenience and didn't. We were very disappointed in their failure to accommodate our only two request!! For that reason, we will not stay at the Sheraton again!
The fire alarm went off at 2:00 a.m. This wouldn't have been a problem in and of itself; however, there were NO STAFF MEMBERS around to direct guests or inform guests on when it was clear to enter. The only person around to answer questions was a security guard with an unbuttoned shirt. The next day, I expected some type of acknowledgement or apology for the inconvenience. Nothing. When I checked out a few days later, the front desk attendant laughed about it. The staff here is probably the most apathetic group I've ever seen at a hotel. The bed was LUMPY. No matter which way I positioned myself, there was a lump in the mattress. The shower drain was slow to clear. Overall, I wish I had stayed at a different hotel.
The breakfast was bomb af and they gave us a late checkout which was so clutch. The Sheraton is where its at! I didnt like how hard it was raining but theres nothing the hotel can do about that.
great service and excellent hotel
Hotel was clean. There is a good restaurant and a bar inside the hotel. There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room. a lot of empty space in the room which needed some furniture, perhaps an extra chair, or a small table. e
We had an early morning flight from SJC so needed a place to stay nearby. The hotel was comfortable and had a nice shuttle. The hotel is off the beaten path and there isn't much nearby. We ended up needing to eat at the hotel bar (which turned out to be acceptable).
The evening attendant arranged to have a cab waiting at a specified time. Just as promised the morning attendant reminded me of the arrival time for the cab. a few minutes early - ghe cab appeared. Very satisfactory for my late arrival and early departure.
Room was clean. Most of the staff was friendly.
The beds were confortable and the rooms clean. They changed me to 3 different rooms in 5 days because of several issues so I get the chance to try several beds. The staff was friendly. The outside of the building looks more like a motel and the carpets looks old. In my first room, the AC was broken and it was 80F. They moved me to another room the next day just under the construction. The renovation was going from 8:30am until 6pm weekend included. Add the noise of the airplanes taking off, this hotel was the noisiest place I ever stayed. The hotel is directly under one of the runaway of San Jose airport and not next to it so the noise is higher than any airport hotel I stayed in the past. The food was terrible. I ate outside after my first breakfast there. There is no restaurant on-site or nearby. Their parking shares the parking of a fastfood but I don't call this a restaurant to eat. The neigborough was really not nice (industrial looking). I would never come back here.
Close to airport and Stanford. Standard hotel with no upgrades. We bought this for price point of 125 and i would stay there again if looking for a place to sleep. Occasional outbound flights through night. I didn't hear them, and usually don't, but my wife woke up. There was a spider in the shower and another near the desk. Outside that, the carpet, linen, and furniture was new and clean.
clean quiet room bed too soft, and too high off ground
I've always thought La Quinta's were great motor hotels, but I was not expecting to find such a beautiful modern style design, like other boutique hotels. The room was clean, the hotel staff were great. Access to WiFi was easy. And It took me less than ten minutes to get to the airport. There are not a lot of dining choices near by, but it gave me an excuse to explore the city. I found some great restaurants about ten minutes away.
Newly remodeled w super friendly staff Our room had bits of food on the floor and someone else's sock- hadn't been vacuumed or cared for. The door had clearly been forced open previously and didn't fully close. Pool was inheated and unusable in April.
So close to the airport and badly isolated that you can hear the planes in the room! Bad value for money compared to other holtels of similar quality in the area!
ridiculous that one must pay 25 dollars for parking plus 10 dollars for internet per night
I like the fact that it is walking distance from the convention center. No parking due to event.
clean and quiet
Room was very clean, overall it is an excellent hotel Parking should be included in price, a little pricey
The location was convenient It was dirty and old. Not wat I was expecting. A bit disappointing
Location is near Levi's Stadium and SAP arena. We were there for 3 nights but our room was never cleaned.
My room was very comfy, great bed. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Surprisingly good food options somewhat nearby. Common areas could be a bit cleaner. Lots of families, so can understand how it gets messy. But my room was very clean and great for what was needed - a place to stay that was accessible to SJC airport. Nice airport shuttle.
Both the pool and spa were closed.
Not really anything I should've stayed at the holiday inn The rooms and staff were not nice
Very clean. Restaurant on the premises with bar, bar has great happy hour. Quiet. Pool and spa. Everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. One of the front desk people wasn't as friendly but he seemed overwhelmed
The sign in the lobby promoting free coffee until 11:00am was misleading. The urn wasn't refilled after 9:30 am. I was directed to the resturant and their server wasn't pleased that I asked for coffee 2 days in a row. The front desk personnel appeared indifferent to fulfilling a reasonable request by one of their customers.
We have stayed at Wyndham Waikiki before. Nothing compared to that. We were only there to crash but it was an upgraded motel. Thin walls, housekeeping knocking on doors in am. Only savior = bed was comfy
staff at front desk is reasonably friendly, bathroom amenities include conditioner, mouthwash, etc. You could tell this was formerly a low-end motel properly. The upgrades were done sloppily and hastily, as is evident in the wall surfaces, paint, overspray, and excess tile cement. Maybe good enough to be a Super 8 at best.
Location and shuttle service work well. Updates to the rooms are nice while the bathrooms still need updating if one spends $100+ a night here. Grounds outside need cleaning.
Nice place, room was clean some street noise
Decent hotel/motel, the grounds could have been nicer. the pool is great and the Jacuzzi. Most of the hotel near this one (a lot) offer free breakfast, this did NOT. A minus which wwill influence my choice of hotels. grounds were very plain, the shower heads are crusted over and have low pressure. Towels area bit small. No breakfast included, a BIG minus!
Nothing. There was multiple things I did not like. For starts, the first room 193 I was assign too smell. The sewer smell was very strong and there was bed bug. Keep in mind I was there for 10 minutes. Secondly, I moved rooms (142) and that room had the same problem. Huge bed bugs. It was disgusting. Called the front desk and sent security guard, for what? To check the room. We got our belongings and we to the front desk. I demanded my money back they give me trouble bc their manager was on call. Finally after an hour I got money back, partial btw. I had to look for a room at 1am, driving around the city to find one. It was not a magical experience. It was awful and I will NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great location and amazing hotel. The amenities were good as well. The rio was a nice size and I had a view of Levi Stadium. When I came back to the hotel at about 11pm there were no parking places. I believe outsiders were at the bar or guests had their friends visiting. When you are paying for a hotel room it's annoying not being able to park in the parking lot.
The restaurant had very high quality food for the price and the bar was elegant and very accessible. Need to have FREE wifi in the rooms! This is 2015 AND the hotel is in the heart of silicone valley. For shame! Hilton
check in and out convenience. Movies extremely expensive.
Clean. Comfortable beds. Great shower. Friendly helpful staff.
It's a good hotel with all the facilities you need, conveniently positioned across the road from the Hyatt convention center. No free WiFi, which for the price of the room, I would have expected.
Andy the concierge took care of us like an old friend.
Helpful and friendly staff who keep up with the demands and requests of the guest. Also, a very quiet and clean space that allowed us to get our rest.
Everything was great Everything was good all people there are helpful
Much cheaper than many other hotels in the area but with the same quality. Not within walking distance of much. Need to drive everywhere.
Front desk staff was very friendly, very large hotel, long walk to the room without any short cuts. Lots of traffic to airport on Monday morning
Nothing There was mold in my shower. I had to change rooms. In the room I went to there was no remote for the TV. I made a reservation with my company Ltd and wanted to charge that card. I have them my personal card for incidentals and they charged my card. So the HD to refund my card and charge my company card. What an inconvenience I have to wait now 3-5 days for a refund when my card shouldn't have been charged in the first place. The furniture is outdated and old. I wanted to have a nice evening with my girlfriend for our anniversary and it was bad from the beginning. I also missed the world series because I had to wait 30 mins to get a remote.
Hotel needs update. Toilets need cleaning. No one seems to care about long term maintenance and it's obvious.
The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable Kayak says there is an airport shuttle. The fine print says there is a surcharge for one. Turns out they don't offer a an airport shuttle, paid or free. We booked this hotel for the shuttle. When we talked to the manager, they used the excuse that there was a surcharge and we had read the description wrong. They did nothing to help. Poor customer service. Not at all impressed
Beds were comfortable From our room we could hear music playing on the lobby all night long. Fan in the bathroom was incredibly loud and came on everytime the bathroom light was on. Very basic. No fridge, not enough outlets. But, it was clean, safe, and they had a room available.
Could hear everything outside my room. Sounded like a zoo outside my door. Accidently booked the wrong Four Points my Sheraton. Would not move my reservation to their other hotel.
The place was clean & quiet. The front desk lady was rude & difficult. The place is a little bit out of the way from many things like gas stations & other things of that nature
Worked out get at a good price. Also get walking/running path next to hotel
Nothing Hair in the bathtub, old beds, in need of new paint, stained carpet, paper thin walls where people talking all hours of night keep you up, only one functioning elevator, no choice of restaurants nearby. I would not recommend this hotel.
Highway noise and resturant is expensive.
The room is clean and bed is comfortable There is no toopaste (mouth wash instead) towels are a bit rough and there is no fridge
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly That we couldn't stay longer
The restaurant at the hotel was absolutely delicious and the parking situation was convenient. Ambiance was very inviting. Great lobby space. The room is severely outdated, terrible carpet and crayon marking on the walls from previous guests.
Needed a place to stay for family and friends to attend my daughters graduation from college. The location was convenient, clean, comfortable. I wish I had found it sooner when I would come to visit her. If I were to stay in the area again, this would be my first choice to seek out a bargain. This hotel can be pricey, I was fortunate to find an Internet deal that had costs comparable to surrounding lodging. In addition, the parking at $25 per night was a bit steep as well. Cost will be the largest consideration for me on a return visit.
One of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in the area. Very clean and great customer service.
Make me happy with enjoy with my family. wonderful view outside and nice place too.one thing I need to say with the people very nice.because.last night .after parking car in the floor.I forget to lost the car key somewhere.in the next morning somebody take it and bring back to the front desk for me.thank you very much.
comfortable and clean rooms. I was next to a service elevator and needed to change my room after I was all settled in for the night. I also asked for some toiletries and never received it
Hector was very helpful and friendly... he went out of his way giving us information. He couldn't do enought for us.!!! Thank you
The Pullman is the former Sofitel hotel and other than change the signage they did little else. The hotel is ready for some paint and upgrading. The location is excellent . the staff is friendly and accommodating..
Nothing This hotel cancelled my reservation without explanation during the last week prior to my stay which caused the booking.com to commit fraud against me by making another reservation at a different hotel without my permission and instructed to not do that but did it anyway causing loss of funds which the other hotel refused to refund due to their booking policy which was completely contrary to to printed policy I had received from booking.com from the first and only reservation made by me. It's a scheme to make money from you regardless of what you do with a reservation. Do your homework on these online booking sites folks. It pays to stay away!
I like sofitel brand and the amenities The rooms are in dire need of remidel. Bathroom had molding joints and wallpaper coming off the wall.
The hotel amenities are more like a luxury hotel than other hotels you stay at when traveling for business. The bed comfortable was really comfortable! The hotel only has one restaurant, which is a bit overpriced for the food you get, but the staff was really nice. You will need to drive or take a taxi/uber to find other restaurants nearby. The hotel is surrounded by business parks.
The view from our sixth floor room was beautiful. There were birders in our room and birds could be seen in the trees close by as well as the beautiful lake. We loved seeing the sunrise and the mountains. Just walking around the grounds was a pleasant experience. Thank you for a lovely stay from Southerners who spent Christmas in your lovely surroundings.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Comfortable bed. Great location near Original Joe's downtown.
The staff was great. Good location. Windows opened a bit.
Cute and comfortable hotel, with super friendly and helpful staff. Recommend Mosaic restaurant for happy hour. Perfect downtown location. Could use new carpet and paint in common areas to freshen things up.
The restaurant happy hour was great. Super Asian food and specostly drinks at a bargain. Rooms and common areas were tasteful and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quiet and comfortable.
Front Desk Agent was really nice and tried to help me find a place to go to that evening. Great location, walking distance to downtown hot spots. Saw a cockroach next to the desk. Neighbors were loud all night with slamming doors and loud voices, but that's not the hotel's fault.
I would love to come back. Neat room
The location of the hotel was awesome. Right in the center of the downtown area. The staff, especially Tim S. was amazing, friendly, checked me in early, gave me star treatment, the room had a great view, was clean, nice amenities. Was a bit old. The hallway carpet was old and dirty as was the room carpet. I didn't park there b/c the lot was more expensive than down the street.
The employees were very nice I didn't like that door to the room let air in and it made this annoying noise.
Comfortable room, nice bathroom Expensive parking
The staff at the front desk, valet parking and the restaurant were extremely friendly and very professional. The menu at the restaurant seemed expensive, especially for breakfast.
Very accomadating and friendly. No gym.
Great location and reasonable price for Downtown. Parking cost weren't mentioned prior to booking and was an annoying surprise of $29/day.
We had an unexpected overnight stay in the area and saw the positive hotel reviews online. Modern updated lobby, clean. No frills room. Near freeway but feels secure. Across parking lot from a couple of chain restaurants. In the morning, staff gave recommendation for super breakfast location down the road. Very pleased overall.
The hotel is conveniently located for car access to Santana Row and the Valley Fair Shopping Mall and has onsite parking facilities. The room was nice and comfortable but nothing fancy. We stayed there as we wanted to be close to the shopping areas.
Although we arrived late in the evening (about 10:30), we were greeted by the upbeat and friendly front desk staff, who quickly took care of checking us in. Not long after we got into our room, we received a call to check that all was well. We requested extra towels and they arrived in less than 10 minutes. The beds, pillows and bedding were 1st class and very comfortable. Our room was quiet and nicely appointed.
Nice rooms and very friendly staff
The beds were uncomfortable..hard pellows and not a comfortable matress. The tv and dvd player were both borken..repoted to staff and they were unable to do anything. Also the almost 200 dollar hold on my card was not expected.
Location was perfect for us and the place is warm and attractive with a very professional and helpful staff.
Staff was fantastic and the hotel was very nice
Employees were very friendly and helpful. The location was great! Nice hotel for the price and location. The chair in the room was a little dirty.
Very well situated place in the center of Silicon Valley. At least, the "Club Level" is of very high quality considering the price of the room. At the hotel itself, the dining service is not top-grade but sufficient. Anyway, the place is rounded by lot of restaurants.
yes there were a lot of noise during the night (of other guests)
Proximity to buisiness event; quiet Resturant not open
In town for Dave Koz concert at Villa Montalvo. Great service all the way around. Made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in. Would definitely stay there again. Only thing missing: not enough towels and pillows could have been more comfortable.
