Designed as an homage to the historical Victorian-style beach estates of the area, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is a magnificent retreat for guests looking to experience the magic of Disney. As Disney’s flagship and most opulent resort, the hotel features a five story lobby, stained glass domes, and Italian marble floors with inlays of various Disney characters. During daytime hours, a grand pianist performs in the main lobby while an orchestra plays popular Disney tunes on the second floor balcony every evening.
Renovated in 2007, the hotel hosts 867 rooms that average 440 square feet, sleeping up to five adults, and include basic amenities like free Wi-Fi, a mini fridge, soaker tub, ironing board, and in-room safe.
