Beds were wonderful. Nice breakfast buffet. Big pool. AC was loud but was comfortable.
Clock was an hour off. Air didn't get cold. Shower didn't get hot. Noisy room. AC was even louder.
The location was awesome. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms.
The air conditioning unit was broken. August in Florida without air conditioning in Hell.
Great location. Attentive staff.
The air conditioning was not working properly. The floor and room felt stuffy and humid. We were not informed there was a problem with the air conditioning unit. It was highly uncomfortable to sleep in a room with that type of temperature. When we mentioned the problem to the front desk, upon check out, they acknowledged the problem, apologized for the inconvenience. I would book a room at this hotel, but I would be sure to call in advance to make certain the air conditioning is working properly.
Everything was on point as well was the staff. Extremely nice and updated rooms that were very comfortable with breathtaking views of Downtown Disney.
I have little kids that are not quite ready for taking baths in a shower and since there was no bath tub, bath time was a huge struggle. Also to pay $16.00 for parking or $21.00 for Valet was a joke. I arrived around 9:00pm in the pouring rain and had no choice but to valet at the time. It wasn't until after I did so that I was informed at check in of the flat charges to either self park or the flat fee to valet. This was very misleading.
Clean and neat
Staff, rate, rooms.
Had to wait forever in the rain for shuttle leaving Disney. Were all soaked to the bone by the time it arrived.
Everything was very nice. Staff was helpful with everything.
Parking fee of $16.00 was not mentioned until check-in. A little high.
Excellent value, as it is modern and upscale feeling like a Miami south beach hotel. Perfect location to walk to downtown Disney or off park dinner and parks. We had fun with the bunk beds in the family suite. Will 100% be back for similar low rate.
Comes with a lot of freebies, fresh coffe in the morning, free wifi, in room jacuzzi etc..
The most comfortable beds ever!!!!
The slightly outdated decor.
nice looking, very retro
Room was dirty, it looked liked the made the beds and through in some towels. Found hair in bed, shower scum, some black mess on the toilet, hairs in sink, a sock at the end if the bed, and some kind of "oil" left under the nightstand. They did come a thane the sheets. Never will stay here again.
I liked the location of the resort which has shops and downtown Disney close by.
I didn't think the rooms were that great for the price that I paid and felt that it left a lot to be desired.
I booked last minute and got a special price for one of the tower rooms. Was just as nice as expected, especially with the low special price. Frequent four star and five star hotel guests might find it slightly over priced at the regular rate. Location to Downtown Disney is great. Check in was a breeze, staff was friendly. A few fees (parking and resort fees - but all Orlando hotels have varying resort fees) were annoying, but expected. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Would stay again if found a similar special rate.
Only true complaint is a small one, some crumbs near the bathroom door and a bobbie pin in the toilet.Otherwise very clean and comfortable.
Loved the room and price. Would go back.
Location good. Fresh renovated building.
Resort fee high. Parking fee. Staff about average in dealing with guests. Hotel was not fully booked and they had many vacancies for rooms overlooing the pool. However, they gave us a room that overlooks parking lot and we had to ask to change the room.
Sorry I actually nothing!!!
Staff is not prepared to handle any situation!!! No costumer service!!
Resort fee along with parking fee ($41) is excessive. Resort fee supposedly included free wifi which had inconsistent service and free coffee which didn't start until 7 am. No newspaper was included. One person at desk checking customers in. 20 minutes to check in is excessive. Virtually impossible to get front desk to answer phone from room. Service was very poor.
The location was really the best thing about the hotel.
Responsiveness of staff at one of their food stablishments. And the communication between staff members, no one noticed the giant puddle under the a/c and no one cleaned it or reported it.
Its a pretty hotel. The Bathrooms are nicely finished. Its close to DownTown Disney.
The hotel claims to be a Spa Resort. However it is currently still undergoing rennovation. There is no Spa. The Restaurants are not open yet. It is basically just an expensive hotel room with no other amenities.. In order to compensate for the other amenities not being available, the hotel offered Free Buffet Breakfast, which would have been a nice touch, if the waiter wasnt contantly shaking his head, and grumbling under his breath "free breakfast" immediately followed by a sigh and head shake, constantly, he did this constantly. Although the hotel will be pleasant enough when finished, I will never stay here again because of that waiter. He made the poor young family we shared a table with (yes you have to share a table, its a few round tables in what is supposed to be a ballroom, looks more like a conference room) so upset they left mid breakfast. The hotel also had coffee and tea in the reception (again would have been a nice touch), but the person who seemed to be attending the area made me feel so uncomfortable I actually left without coffee, he wouldn't move out of the way so I could get to the cups, and was just dusting sugar onto the floor and on me (sighing, whats with the staff and the sighing), there was no trash can for the sugar packets and stirrers so the area was messy with discarded wrappers, which seemed to be upsetting him, but not enough that he went off to find something for guests to put these items in. The staff (apart from check in clerk who eventually checked us in) are in need of customer service training asap. No one ever looked up from their jobs to acknowledge us, no-one welcomed us to the hotel. The rooms are pleasant, although we booked the best room available, which was supposed to have nice views.... I dont personally consider the I-4 a nice view. So if you are going to book do not upgrade your room, the front desk clerk said rooms are on an availability basis, irrespective of what you book. The rooms also lack storage, its kind of open cubes, which is not really user friendly, there is one small wardrobe, so probably ok for business traveler. The A/C is set at 65 and would not turn down the fan was blasting all night, it was very noisy. I think the hotel was trying to fix that problem, but were having trouble, I heard other guests complaining and a front desk person (who never once looked up to say hello or acknowledge I was waiting to check in) yelling down a walkie talkie for maintenance, and engineering. Oh, the tile is very very slippery after the rain, I look a tumble coming in from the pool area, the hotel is going to need to address this asap. I think my husband summed it up best, the hotel is beautiful and clearly designed by an architect/designer who has spent too many years in school and not enought years in the real world. Overall I would stay at the Buena Vista Palace and Spa at DownTown Disney (until thiis hotel actually finishes its rennovation and their spa and restaurants are open), they are much closer to Disney Village Marketplace, and rooms are cheaper. Oh yes, one more thing, they waived the Resort fee of $21... because the amenities were not open, but there is an additional $15 self parking fee in addition to resort fee, I dont recall reading about anywhere on Kayak.
