Pros. The hotel sits up over lake Geneva, affording beautiful views of Port Ouchy and Lausanne. The hotel staff was professional, courteous, and spoke English well. The room was average size by American standards, and was comfortably appointed and quiet. The restaurant served a decent buffet breakfast, and dinner was excellent. In the morning and evening they would open the large windows allowing the cool breeze to waft in, providing a nice enticement to stay longer for drinks! The Cathedral Notra Dam of Lausanne is an easy walk from here, as is old town. The bus stop is just down the hill a bit from the hotel, making it quite easy to get around. The hotel even gave us free bus passes for our entire stay, which was a nice bonus!
