Excellent location and grounds The breakfast was not very good for those other than spaniards
Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable environment. Close to beaches. Good facilities and value for money. The only thing we weren't keen on was the coffee served at breakfast. It's a minor point and wouldn't put us off staying there again, but I would be willing to pay a bit more for a morning espresso!
Relaxing by the pool. Best hotel swimming pool I've seen at 20m. Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel gardens and surroundings. good food.
the gardens were beautiful -fantastic 25m swimming pool. Disturbed until 04h by an open air disco -even closing windows and shutters could not obliterate sounds. On complaining next morning I was advised to take it up with the Town Hall (mairie in French)
good beach location
Well located in terms of beach, it is right on the water. It's a shame about the horrible pink exterior colour but I suppose coming from France you a spoilt with amazing architecture. It had a bit of a dormotory feel to it as well particulary in the hallways of the hotel but, it is well located on the beach and has a great view. There was also an older crowd of clientele there.
The professionalism of the staff combined with the extra welcoming feel of a familly run Hotel
the stuff was very nice and willing and the hotel location on the see - the view from the room is amazing. 1. the hotel address explanations is poor, even using an GPS. we go around as 1 hour. we access the hotel just after talking 3 times with the reception by international phone calls. 2. there is no elevetaor to go to upper floors.
Breakfast, Family run, No TV, No Lift,Expensive drinks
the location and setting of the hotel was superb and the staff very welcoming.
this is the 3rd time staying at this hotel, I just enjoy everything about the area. the balcony windows are nealy impossible to close and need urgent replacement.
the hotel has a stunning terrace overlooking the ocean the other side of the hotel has a very noisy busy street and the rooms on this side cost just a tiny bit less than the ones on the quiet sea side. the rooms have no tv, no wi-fi, no aircon, no rug no chair. extremely basic for the price. two cheap light beds with bad mattress. it is more like a cheap backpacker hostel than a hotel. the receptions and public areas are completely different from the rooms. extremely disappointing, even though the photo´s on the website are not a true reflection of the real rooms!!!
Excellent reception staff, cleanliness and position. Non existance of bar staff on the terraces, and discriminate service when it arrived.
Good central location. Good breakfast selection. This is not a four star hotel. It is a good three star hotel.
Central location and breakfast, associated restaurant was great. Exorbitant price for transferring our baggage to another hotel.
perfect .... friendly, good advices, human ... see you soon ... nicolas
Location by the port, market and beach, and view of sea from our room. Internet connection difficult at best, impossible at times. Key cards had to be reswiped every day as we could not get into our room, or front door. Breakfast at another hotel - would prefer cheaper room and to make our own breakfast.
This is a very nice place to stay in Port de Selva, away from the more touristy crowds of Cadaques. The rooms are nice, and the location right on the fishing pier is charming, although slightly noisy in the mornings (I found that part of the charm).
Distance to the beach and the peace and quiet nope
I booked the hotel because there was internet in the rooms. Upon arrival, no internet service in the rooms seemed to be available. No parking space near the hotel. Staff has a very basic understanding of english. The price charged by internet (262 euro/night) was much more than the max price displayed in the room (160 euro/night).
Beautiful new hotel. The owner was very nice. Gave important tips about our trip. We loved breakfast. Good taste even in small details. The room was upgraded without my knowledge, and charged for it.
The hotel is in a perfect shape, designed with a great taste. The rooms are comfortable and it was a calm place. The service is "rural" and we felt very well during our stay.
Village calm. Hotel decor attractive. Owner very friendly. The 'flashing' smoke alarm positioned just over the bed - very annoying. The soap dispenser next to the bath was far too high.
the rooms we booked were gorgeous, with exposed stone walls. we had a nice balcony and the breakfast was excellent.
Eating in the village at restaurants recommended by the owner. Visiting neighbouring villages.
Very nice staff. Nice little village - out of crowd, but close to beautiful touristic places.
Extremely good.Breakfast and dinner very good
The hotel is absolutely lovely. I can't say enough good things about it. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was immaculate. The village is very pretty, and there are a few wonderful restaurants to eat in. Its very close to Cadaques and Roses if you want to stay there for just the weekend. Our room had a little balcony with a view as well which we didn't expect. it was lovely.
Palau Saverdera is a beautiful village to walk around with the restaurants and bars of Roses only 5 minutes away. The hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms are beautiful with very comfortable beds and pillows. Great breakfast in the morning with lots of fresh produce. If you are going to be staying in this region you could not pick a better hotel!
The hotel is a wonderful gem of a place in the beautiful village of Paul Savadera. Merce is very friendly and makes sure you are welcomed and happy during your stay, with lots of advice on places to visit. A great place to stay.
