For what I paid for this room it far exceeded my expectations. Clean sheets and fresh towels and a free breakfast ! I was pleasantly surprised
Room is very dusty, mouldy, dark, no choices for breakfast not recommended
The Hotel swiped my card thrice and when we called them back they said it was by mistake. I have lost lot of money due to the conversion rate. Please ask them not to repeat this again.
The location is quite good because it is really quite part of London and you can access to transports really easily. The toilet is quite good in comparison to most of the hotels that I have been before.
The hotel did not have wi-fi at all, just in the reception area. It did not have a lift knowing that there were kids and people with really heavy bags. The TV never actually worked. There was only one plug in the bedroom which is really difficult because I stayed in a triple room and we needed to charged one phone each time. Did not have lots of light. There is no organization in the breakfast room. They ask for a time that you wany to eat when you arrive, but no one checks that in the breakfast room. I also needed to pay a 20 pounds deposit, which I never did anywhere else, that are return to you in the end if everything goes right.
Good location. Breakfast - adequate.
Where do I start? 1. TV did not work, but at least the maintenance chap replaced it with another one when I reported it. 2. I thought the kettle also was not working, but the maintenance chap checked, then advised that the right hand side of the double socket was not working. Dangerous in my opinion! 3. Large hole in the middle of the air vent grate on the wall, as if someone had punched into it. 4. Floppy shower handle, with bits of water trickling out when you finally managed to turn it on. 5. Taped up shower rail. 6. Crack shower tray. 7. Smallest room I have ever stayed in, at any hotel, B&B whether in the UK or abroad. 8. Although sheets appeared to be clean, hard to tell if the bedspread was also clean. 9. Floorboards, particularly on the stairs from top to bottom of the hotel did not feel secure to me as I struggled up 4 floors to me room. 10.But worst of all - dried up brown stains, which resembled human excrement were visible on both sides of some kind of eco contraption, located behind the toilet. 11. The room allocated, was WELL BELOW health and safety standards and I cannot believe the authorities consider that such a room is adequate enough to be rented to members of the public - no matter what the price or location.
