Pros: Very nice accommodation in the center of Loutra village. Clean room with view. Very friendly staff, Delicious breakfast with handmade products.
Pros: Everything was perfect! have never experienced such genuinly friendly staff ever before!!
Pros: Excellent location close to the beach and restaurants. The loveliest hotel staff we have ever encountered - extremely friendly and helpful!
Pros: Staff extremely kind & helpful!
Pros: Beautiful room, clean and well located. Polite and helpful staff. Free parking.
Cons: There was no WiFi signal in our room.
Pros: Location in paradise, super friendly and helpful staff and lovely accommodation .. was complete bliss
Pros: Nicely renovated hotel - we liked the decoration very much Staff very kind Good quality breakfast with a small touch of change every day Very convenient location in the wonderful little port of Loutra We had two rooms, one with sea view and the other with mountain view (the one with sea view was better even at the inside) We recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Kythnos
Pros: Located in Loutra, one of the most touristic villages of Kythnos, 10 minutes drive from Chora and 20 minutes drive from the main Port (Merichas), this hotel couldn't be better. Featuring wonderful breakfast, clean facilities and very helpful/assisting staff. I would highly recommend!
Pros: Good location. Friendly and polite staff. Clean and cozy rooms. Nice breakfast. Plenty of parking space.
Cons: The interior designer who had the idea of putting glass panel bathrooms in the rooms ...... must be fired (and put to ..... jail!)
Pros: The whole hotel and the room is very clean and modern, I wish there were more hotels like that on the islands! Comfortable bed, spacious room, nice view from balcony, very friendly and polite staff.
Cons: Poor wifi connection both in the lobby and the room. Also, the breakfast lacks organisation, you are trying to find glasses, plates, bread..staff is refilling but sometimes you have to go 2-3 times until you get everything you want. Also maybe a reorg of the tables would be nice since it was difficult to navigate yourself at the eating area.
Pros: Καθαριότητα. Προσωπικό και εξυπηρέτηση τέλεια.
Cons: Προσοχή στην αποχέτευση, κάποια δωμάτια μυρίζουν απαράδεκτα έντονα.

Pros: The room was very clean, sheets and towels were changed daily. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
Cons: As we booked the smallest room of the hotel, it was not super spacious. However, it was comfortable for 2 people.
Pros: Wonderful welcome from Afroditi. Spotlessly clean room and ensuite with nice little balcony looking out on to the harbour. Couldn't ask for more really.
Pros: First off, Afroditi is a lovely smiling hostess who really looks after you without being intrusive, a very relaxing place to stay. The rooms are well furnished & spotlessly clean with comfortable beds & big fluffy towels in the bathroom and everything smells so fresh & delicately scented – almost aroma therapy!! She serves an awesome home cooked breakfast on the rooftop terrace – so much variety but more than I could eat, I really appreciated the fresh fruit from the table placed in my room later and topped up daily, as was the bottled water in the fridge Her recommendation of the Taverna "XEROLITHIA" was spot on, a really friendly place used by the locals with great food & local wine.
Pros: A lovely welcoming environment, with very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful yummy breakfast on the roof terrace. Very close to a great beach, local restaurants and cafes. Well connected through public transport to other scenic villages.
Pros: There is no better place to stay at Loutra Kythnos. We shall certainly visit it again!
Cons: wi fi
Pros: The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable enough. The sleep was generally good.
Cons: The veranda was in front of the parking. No privacy at all. The breakfast was freshly cooked but quite expensive for what was offered. It was also not included in the price. Wi-Fi non existent in the room.
Pros: Having travelled extensively to almost all Cycladic islands over the years, I have to say that Xenonas Aphroditi in Kythnos is without a doubt the best accomodation I have ever stayed at. What sets this delightful place apart, is Mrs Aphrodite herself, who truly is the spirit of Greek hospitality personified. A most welcoming lady, she made us feel at home from the get go. She was the best, most courteous, accomodating, attentive hostess we ever had the pleasure of encountering. The rooms, the stairs, the reception, the entrance hall were all in impeccable condition, spotless, always looking and smelling freshly cleaned. The tastefully decorated rooms in particular are spacious, the beds/pillow super comfortable, the towels so soft (and smell wonderfully) and the balconies with the sea views are a dream!. The attention to detail in all areas is unique. Mrs Aphrodite has put a lot of care and love in this establishment and it truly shows! The hearty breakfasts are a real feast, and are truly EPIC in every sense of the word. Served in a veranda with fantastic sea views, Mrs Aphrodite overlooks everything, and bakes herself daily, fantastic cakes and pies. She kept treating us for the 3 days we stayed to the most amazing breakfasts, both in quantity and quality. Freshly squeezed orange juice is always provided along with the cake (or pie) of the day, fresh fruits, eggs, yogurt, toasts. Her breakfasts would easily keep us going until dinner time and were always offered with a big smile! We arrived at Xenonas Aphrodite as strangers and we felt we left as friends! This is how great our stay was/felt. I cannot recommend this place enough and we already look forward returning! A big shout-out and a huge THANK YOU to Mrs Aprhodite.
Cons: Everything was perfect, far exceeding our expectations.
Pros: Absolutely epic breakfast. Freshly baked cakes everyday. Favourite is the orange and
Pros: Everywhere is so cute and clean. The room is big , really cleaned with everyrhing you need and with a terrace front of the sea. The breakfast is something amazing. Every day different, fresh and incredibly delicious cakes. So much to eat that you don t need lunch. Every request has been solved. Strongly recommended.
Cons: Nothing. Difficult to find something wrong
Pros: The guest is a very nice person, very available. Her breakfast is excellent.
Cons: The room was very small for 120 €/night.
A stay at Kontseta Guesthouse places you in the heart of Kithnos, a 1-minute drive from Port Merichas and 15 minutes from Loutra Bay. A ferry terminal shuttle is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The owners were so friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The view from our private balcony was spectacular, we could watch the ferries & yachts docking. Also could see the town. Sunsets amazing. Initially I was a bit worried about the 69 steps to reach apartment but they have landings along the way & it was quite easy & we’re in our early 60’s.
Pros: Amazing views of Aegean Sea and Christos is a very helpful and hospitable person. Highly recommend this place.
Pros: Conveniently situated above port. Easy walking distance. The apartment we had was superb. The steps up are not insignificant but the view is well worth it. Tastefully decorated room and the staff were lovely.
Cons: Due to a ferry being ‘broken’, we only stayed for one night instead of two so we only saw the sunset once!
Pros: Our stay at the property was perfect. The apartment is just ideal for two people. We’ve had an amazing view of the sea and the harbour. The flat was clean and had all necessary basic things i.e. glasses, kettle etc. The staff including George and Mrs Zoe were lovely. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend this place :)
Pros: Perfect stay in Kythnos - Kontseta is situated in the port city of Merichas, at 5 minutes distance from the actual arrival place of ferries/boats/taxis. You can catch the latter (taxi) and visit the other nice cities - the capital, Chora, the formal capital and historical city of Dryopida or go to Loutra for the hot springs. We found everything we needed - an amazing sea view, a big room and balcony, very clean room and super friendly staff. The catered to our every need and were very friendly. Great value for money!
Cons: Nothing, all was great!
Pros: Wonderful hospitality.
Pros: The hosts and the location; in our opinion the best location in Merichas. Also the cleanliness.
Cons: It was a lot of steps, and with suitcase, 69 steps was good exercise. But - no complaints!
Pros: George was at the harbor waiting for us and drove us by car to the nearby hotel. We were also given all information about village and the island.
Pros: George and everyone at Konseta we’re wonderful hosts and helped us to have a magical stay. The room is perfect; the view of the harbour and sunsets was extraordinary. George was especially helpful when I wanted to have my hair done! This was a home away from home in the perfect location.
Pros: Great location close to the port overlooking the harbour good place to sit and watch the yachts. Easy walk into town where you will find some wonderful restaurants. Owners super helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.
When you stay at Eneos Kythnos Beach Villas in Kithnos, you'll be on the beach and 12 minutes by car from Loutra Bay. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Our villa was very elegant, lovely interior. Rooms were very clean, because cleaners came every day, they also were very nice. Beach was just in front of our villa with umbrellas and loungers. We were hoping for a quiet, sunny holiday with lots of swimming at sea and Eneos Kythnos Beach Villas gave it for us.
Pros: Location being next to the beach..few walking steps..it was amazing.. Upgrade was awesome from 2 bedroom villa to a 3 bedroom villa.. Mrs. ERIE is a very nice lady....the helpers were good as well..I would highly recommend this villa...excellent
Cons: Just one little thing ..the road to the villa should be a little bit better although its not the owner 's problem...
Pros: The location could not have been better. It’s what Greece would have been like a long time ago. Quiet. Tranquil. Beautiful. Our hosts were incredibly helpful. We will go back.
Pros: We had great relaxing time just sitting in the comfy sunbed and enjoying the stunning view over the beach. The location was exactly where we wanted to be....on a beautiful sandy beach with great swimming. The interior was lovely with great decoration. Villa was very clean with a very modern contemporary feel. The hosts were very helpful and gave us tips on where to go and what to do on the island. The cozy house, the beach, the crystal water, the white little church…Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return...
Pros: Firstly. The view couldn’t be better if you want to have a different travel experience. Amazing room which we feel like home, they made everything decorated and artistic, and also the bed and pillow are so comfortable! The landlord is such a nice person, she helps us everything on the island, including all the information we need, and she provide us welcome gift and breakfast. This place makes me so happy! I will definitely come again!
Pros: Very friendly and helpful hosts and staff Lovely clean and spacious villa Excellent welcome pack Comfortable bed Good internet connection Superb sheltered beach front setting Very peaceful
Cons: Not a dislike but the unsurfaced road and remote location adds a little bit of time if you like to explore the rest of the island The nearest town shops and Taverna’s are 8km away
Pros: Astonishing water clarity ideal for snorkeling and dives into the deep blue. The mattress and linen had perfect quality. I realized that as I was lying and listening to the waves from our oversized bed. We were three couples and we felt very comfortable as our villa was spacious with great sea view and each room was in different level. Our villa was brand new, very clean, perfect decorated and fully equipped. Most of the nights we enjoyed candlelight dinners at our terrace. When we got out we reached very good restaurants within 10 minutes drive in Loutra, a seaside village with marina facilities. Very fast internet connection was everywhere, so everything was fine when some of us needed to participate in video conference calls from work. Netflix and Spotify were also available on the SmartTV. The owner gave us good information about the island. Two lovely cleaners were coming every day doing great job.
Pros: A positive point is the cleanliness of the dwellings and the good taste indoors.
Cons: The complex of villas is in the middle of nowhere, which is not bad if there are easy accesses. The road is difficult and very narrow, while the last kilometer is an earthen part full of stones. The surrounding area is completely unformed, full of soil and stones, while in order to go to the beach the guest has to descend lots of stone steps and walk between thorns and shrubs .The return to the villa is uphill and difficult. Residences are overpriced and photos on the site do not reflect reality. A lot of work is needed from the owners, in order the price be equivalent to the quality of the hospitality.
Pros: I liked the sens of privacy and discreet luxury , the beautiful setting of the villa and the personal care of the owners.
Pros: The villa was lovely and set in a great location. However we were lucky to be upgraded to the Premium villa as it was early season. The upgrade was much appreciated. The daily clean was excellent.
Cons: Nothing not to like
Just 100 metres from the sandy Loutra Beach in Kythnos, the Cycladic-style Meltemi Hotel features a bar and a stone-paved sun terrace amidst its fragrant gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas and air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. The simply decorated rooms of Meltemi enjoy views over the Aegean Sea, the mountain or the village. Each unit is equipped with a fridge, a TV and a private bathroom with shower. Guests can start their day with a buffet breakfast served daily at the dining area. Coffee, drinks and light meals can also be enjoyed at the on-site bar throughout the day, while restaurants can be found within a walking distance. Meltemi Hotel is situated 12 km from Kythnos Port and 5 km from the scenic town of Kythnos. The traditional Dryopida Village is at 9 km. Car rental services can be provided and free public parking is possible on site.
Pros: The room was nice when we eventually got it but we did have to eject a cockroach over the balcony.
Cons: The fact that after a gruelling 14 hour journey to Island and then the hotel we were informed that we could not have our room and had to stay in apartments elsewhere for two days as the room was already let out. This may have been acceptable if we had not been charged for the full 5 days stay in The Meltemi as I am sure the alternative rooms would have been far cheaper. Therefore for the two days we were in the alternative accommodation we have subsidised someone else's stay. This makes a mockery of the booking contract set up between Booking.com, the customer and the vendor.
Pros: Walking distance to the beach and convenient transport to other areas of the island
Cons: TV was too small and very far away, therefor impossible to see and the signal was very bad ! Beds were a bit uncomfortable The bathroom was very small - impossible to have a shower without splashing water everywhere
Cons: A window has broken in the room without expecting that sth like that is going to happen.
Pros: The owners were very kind! He loves his garden :) Just a few steps away from the port with its nice little bars and restaurants. You will find a hot spring right at the beach.
Pros: Near the hot springs. Very helpful owners. Very clean. Breakfast buffet adequate and plenty of help yourself coffee, etc. Quiet surroundings. Peaceful.
Pros: Staff were lovely and informative. Location was excellent.
Cons: The bathroom floods after every shower, as the curtains are not quite correctly put up. While breakfast was good, there was no fresh fruit. The coffee was a very weak American filter coffee (I went next door to the bakery for a good coffee)
Pros: Very clean and decent place. Walking distance to the beach. Nice outdoor surrounding. Comfortable room and veranda.
Cons: One comment. Although I had selected the "Pay at premises" policy, I realized that my credit card was charged 3 days before arrival at the hotel. I would prefer to pay at check out with cash though. Thanks
Located in Kithnos, Foinikas Studios is within a 15-minute drive of Port Merichas and Church of Panagia Kanala. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
Pros: Lovely place, perfect location and helpful staff. Highly recommended :)
Pros: The property is very Cycladic: blue and white, spotlessly clean and without frills. The TV (with BBC and DW channels) and the large fridge are good, and the kitchen is well equipped. It is cool (AC and shutters) and quiet, a stone’s throw from bars and restaurants which are also quiet and reasonably priced. The host is very obliging. I thoroughly enjoyed my five bights there.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike, but the bathroom is small and the water not always hot. But you don’t need very hot water in the Cyclades in the summer.
Pros: Breakfast was not included. The location was good just off the harbour so it was quiet and central at the same time
Cons: The shower room was a bit small
Pros: The location is perfect nearby the beach in the middle of the town. We like the cleaning and we like the terras where we can sit in the shadow
Cons: We didn't like the beds. It was very poor and abslutely nog good for your back. We didn't like that there was a big dog from the owner. The dog was free to walk everywhere en was for us very dominating, althowe noting hapened. It scared us.
Pros: Gokd location. Nice decoration.
Cons: Lots of noise Bad bed Air con from the reception was heard in the room.
Pros: I like the location of this hotel. Is very close to facilities. The supermarket is just in front of the hotel and very good restaurants around the corner and souvenir shops. The hotel Is walking distance to the beach and the Port. When I arrived at this hotel the person at the reception was very friendly and kind . He gave me all the information bout the tourist places to visit and things to do in the island. I definitely recommend this hotel . The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The air conditioner works very good. It has a little kitchenette with silver and pots to use to make meals and a good size dining table.
Cons: I didn't like the washroom. It should be updated. Is a little uncomfortable to take a shower were there is not division in the floor between the shower area and the rest of the washroom . The whole washroom gets wet after you take a shower .
Pros: Location, friendly and clean
Pros: I thought this property was port front but it was not. It was a great room nevertheless. The owner and staff were very accommodating. The port is around the corner!! Staff gave us a free bottle of homemade red wine which was delicious. There is a grocery store across the tiny street and others nearby. Shops are nearby as is a great place for coffee or beer... Fani’s on the street above the harbor. Everything we wanted was within walking distance including the beach. Too cold in May to swim but quiet and calming. Wildflowers everywhere in May!!!
Pros: The size of the room and the location. The air condition worked well and the patio was nice. Good bakery just beside.
Cons: The lady did not seem to expect us and was not able to give us any advice. The dishes and utensils were all very dirty and rusty and very limited. No wine glasses,no kettle. Since the bathroom is so small and the shower curtain was too short the whole bathroom gets wet so a change of towels and shower mat would be nice especially for a 3 night stay. After our arrival we never saw any staff. We left the keys on the doorknob.
